Excellent accommodation, smooth check in and out process, good location. Excellent service from host that helped courier an item I left behind to me. Amazing stay here, highly recommended!

Location is perfect and check-in very easy. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel and will stay here again for our next visit to Lucerne.

We loved the location, close to trendy cafes and bars. Had all amenities you’d need in the room Very clean room and shower. Good clear instructions for entry to the property There is a small lift to apartments which was a bonus Wi-Fi instructions were in the room, and had a good reception The only thing I didn’t like was I booked a superior double room, and got an attic room with very little head space or floor space. My husband hit his head getting up during the night, as it’s hard to avoid low beams odd angled walls Apart from that we enjoyed staying here.

We enjoyed this hotel. Self check in was a breeze. Room small but clean. Location fabulous! Would not hesitate to stay here again. Switzerland is quite expensive but this hotel in this location was quite a good deal. Check out was easy. Sadly didn’t get a chance to try bar below.

The room itself was fine, it had all the features we needed. The location is also excellent, easy waking distance to the railway station, lake and boats, and to restaurants. However there are no staff, and we found the information we were given about how to enter our room was inadequate and contradictory, it took us quite a while to figure it out. Plus the elevator is ridiculously small-good luck trying to get 2 people and luggage in it!

Excellent customer service by Raphael at Hotel Goldener Stern, Switzerland!. Raphael made communicating with him very smooth and he was very understanding and friendly.. Thank you and we look forward to visiting in 2025 with my family!.

Hotel was clean and well stocked. What has become a trend, this hotel has a "remote check in" and an automated service system. Nobody works there so if you're coming, you'll need to use codes to access building and room. A little frustrating and quirky, but it happened again in Zurich so perhaps it the future. We reserved a suite so space was ample for two people. You'll hear the church tower every 1/2 hour in the morning, but it wasn't unpleasant. Conveniently located near old town/bridges/etc.

Einfaches contactless check-in, sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, schönes und sauberes Badezimmer. Seifen - und Duschmittelspender mit guten Produkten, gut eingerichtete Zimmer , gute Matratzen, Nespresso Maschine mit Kapseln im Zimmer, speziell langer Schuhlöffeln. Leider keine Möglichkeit für Frühstück, dafür schöne Cafés in unmittelbarer Nähe (Empfehlungen des Hotels) Zimmer im 5. Stockwerk teilweise mit tiefer Decke (habe Kopf angeschlagen) .
