Location da sogno sul West Bank del Nilo. Suggestivo il parco e la vista sul fiume, fantastica la piscina e il ristorante cucina a bordo piscina cucina ottimi piatti . Personale gentilissimo e preparato, sempre disponibile a far consigli sulle escursioni o a coccolarti. È disponibile una navetta che gratuitamente porta sul east bank. Navetta aeroporto a richiesta. Gentilissimi per la serata dell’anniversario tramonto sul Nilo e cena a bordo fiume Ci torneremo sicuramente, paradiso !

We arrived in Luxor extremely tired after a 10hr journey on a sleeper train from Cairo. On approaching the hotel our taxi driver asked us why here? … I’ll tell you why here… The Jewel Howard Carter hotel is a dazzling oasis on Luxors West Bank. The staff that greeted us were friendly and welcoming allowing us to check in super early . Our room was extremely comfortable with a view of the garden and the sound of birdsong ( much nicer than the sound of Cairo traffic!) The staff were able to book us a wonderful driver for the 2 days we were here, he took us to the east bank for lunch, sightseeing , stopping at a local bar for Egyptian tea, then day 2 sightseeing on the West Bank. They also arranged for a tuktuk to take us to our sunset felucca trip on the Nile. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and as we had an early flight they even gave us breakfast to go! Peaceful place on the bank of the Nile away from the busy areas where you can relax. The grounds and views of the Nile are beautiful. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy, especially Ahmed (nephew of the owner) who was lovely to me and my son and really looked after us when we went to have a look around the west bank. The owner and his wife were also lovely and we felt very safe there. You can get food there and they can organise cars and trips. If you like walking, you can walk and get the ferry or one of the many independent boats across to the east bank. Although it is away from the sites of the east bank, it is quiet and peaceful and you will appreciate that at the end of a busy day of sight seeing and haggling. Would definitely return.

La posizione è molto vicina al tempio e al mercato di Luxor, ci vogliono circa 10-15 minuti a piedi. C'è una piscina all'ultimo piano e ci sono massaggi a pagamento, puoi anche vedere Luxor e il Tempio di Karnak e il fiume Nilo è di fronte. Il condizionatore d'aria centrale nella stanza in cui abbiamo alloggiato non era freddo, dopo averlo detto alla receptionist, ci è stato dato un telecomando aggiuntivo per il condizionatore d'aria. Per la colazione possono essere preparati dei cestini per il pranzo, che sono abbastanza abbondanti.Anche il personale di servizio è gentile e qualsiasi problema può essere risolto rapidamente. I servizi della camera sono probabilmente in linea con il prezzo: ci sono solo sapone, shampoo e asciugamani da bagno, il che è molto conveniente.

I have stayed at this hotel lots of times and I love it, the position of it is good for all the sights especially the beautiful river Nile, the staff are amazing and just can’t do enough for you nothing is too much trouble. I often travel on my own and the Etabe is where I feel safe and at home, I recommend it to everyone, and the pillows on the bed are so soft l can’t wait to return later this year Kay Currant

Muy buen hotel 3 estrellas para los estándares egipcios. Lindas instalaciones y habitaciones acorde al precio. Lo mejor de todo fue la atención de Ahmed, quien nos recibió con té y café de cortesía, fue muy atento en todo momento y nos ayudó con el almuerzo y el transporte al valle de los reyes y al aeropuerto. El hotel no sirve almuerzo, solo desayuno. Tiene una terraza hermosa en el techo desde donde se puede ver Hatshepsut y los globos aerostático en la mañana. Tiene un pequeño minimarket/panadería a la vuelta con snacks, bebidas y cosas de aseo personal, pregunten bien el precio de las cosas antes de comprar (como referencia, un jugo en caja o una oreo vale £10 libras egipcias). Recomendaciones: 1. el hotel queda en la costa oeste, a unos 300 metros de donde te deja el ferry público (que solo vale £10 libras egipcias para los turistas) por lo que es recomendable tomar un taxi (nos costó £450 libras egipcias) desde el aeropuerto hasta el ferry y cruzar y caminar esas calles, aunque la mitad de ese tramo es camino de tierra. Por la noche puede dar susto caminar por ahí, pero notamos que la gente local se conoce y no se corre peligro. 2. Si quieren facilit**** la vida, pregúntenle a Ahmed por chofer personal, quien también se llama Ahmed y vive cerca y es confiable. Pagamos $30 dólares para que nos llevara al valle de los reyes, colosos y hapshetsut y nos esperó todo lo que quisimos, además de darnos una explicación de todo el lugar mientras manejaba. Lo recomiendo para andar relajado sin esperar a ser estafado por otros taxistas. 3. La habitación solo trae una toalla y no tiene secador de pelo, pero simplemente hay que pedirle a Ahmed y los facilita. 4. Tuvimos que batallar contra unos pocos mosquitos en la habitación, pero nada que no se pudiera manejar. Obviamente no es algo que esté en manos del hotel, ya que estamos muy cerca del río Nilo y es obvio que habrá mosquitos. La habitación en general estaba limpia y libre de bichos relacionados a la limpieza. Recomendable 100%, si volviera a Luxor me quedaría ahí nuevamente.

On West Bank walking distance to 5 min ferry ride to East Bank!! Everything about this stay was absolutely beautiful. Don’t be fouled by the small dirt road off the beaten path, to the backroad entrance. Once you walk in and turn left WOW, stunning! Beautiful architecture with a fountain, plants, flowers, fruit trees, inviting rooms, some with balconies overlooking green fields. The meditation, yoga, prayer dome BEAUTIFUL such a gift and appreciated! There is a lovely pool in the shade with pool towels and lounge chairs. The food delightful cooked in a clean kitchen in an out building. Food was prepared with love 💕 the whole staff are so helpful and appreciative that we were staying at Embrace. We stayed in family room 202. King bed with 3 twin beds. Lots of space not crowded. A full bath (shower, sink, toilet) with another toilet room and an additional sink. View of Valley of the King/Queen mountain. Bedding is very comfortable and mattresses look new. Two floors with beautiful staircases and an elevator if needed. For my taste, likes, needs and comfort level, I can not think of a better place to stay and we travel multiple times a year to different countries.

La stanza del lago non può ancora vedere direttamente il lago, ma è molto vicino al lago.È la prima linea.È molto vicino al hall. Ambiente: l'ambiente preferito di questo hotel, il fiume Nilo è sul bordo verde.Il colazione può essere mangiato direttamente sul fiume, ed è molto ricco. Guardare il lago tranquillo è molto bello ～ Il disavanzo è che un gran numero di gruppi turistici sono un po'scura, e ci sono un po'di larve sul fiume. L'hotel è in una zona di vacanza, in realtà può guidare da solo, non deve battere il proprio taxi.

Difficile spiegare in pochi semplici righe cosa sia New Memnon Hotel. A parte la posizione ottima, la pulizia della struttura, l’ottimo cibo… questo hotel ha qualcosa di assolutamente unico. Una cosa che non si può comprare e dal valore inestimabile. Il proprietario Sayed e tutto lo staff hanno un cuore enorme. Ci hanno trattato come re e regine e il proprietario in particolare ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze. Ci ha indirizzato verso tour completi dei siti migliori di Luxor con Mohamed, guida esperta in egittologia. Ha organizzato impeccabilmente tutte le migliori esperienze (noi consigliamo il giro in felucca al tramonto e la gita in mongolfiera sopra West Bank all’alba) e visite che si possano fare a Luxor. Il prezzo che abbiamo pagato è stato inferiore a quanto ricevuto e il proprietario è stato molto onesto e trasparente. Ci ha regalato momenti indimenticabili. Per tutti questi motivi New Memnon è molto più che un semplice hotel. È un pezzo di casa a km di distanza. Un paradiso, col suo magnifico giardino e la sua magnifica terrazza dove poter osservare tramonti indimenticabili. Il cibo, tipico e locale, è preparato con cuore e amore e il sapore è ottimo. Se volete trovarvi in un luogo sospeso nel tempo e nello spazio, dove poter godere a pieno del meglio di Luxor, New Memnon è il luogo perfetto. Se volete venire a Luxor, non potete non soggiornare in questo luogo magnifico. Mettetevi nella mani di Sayed e del suo staff e tutto sarà perfettamente impeccabile. È stato un piacere essere ospiti di Sayed e della sua Oasi. Questo soggiorno rimarrà sempre impresso nel nostro cuore Da ora sappiamo che abbiamo anche una seconda casa a Luxor.
