My friends, Vaidehi & Tejal Shah, Frederick Hamilton & I had a fantastic Holiday at the Taj Lucknow… Our trip, a change much needed, was made even more delightful, what with the invigorating hospitality of the TAJ. The grandeur of the structure hit us the moment we drove in. Our welcome was traditional as always. Appreciate the upgrade for my friend who was here celebrating his birthday with his wife. Lovely service and prompt attention to our needs is what made this a memorable trip. Mention must be made of your teams who left a great impact on us: Concierge: Ms. Ayesha was very patient and helpful in creating a route for us to make the best of our city tours. Delighted to have a local support with that entire list on a daily basis as we roamed the city for its history, artifacts and some shopping. Restaurant: Rajesh Pathak took care of our breakfast needs and did not need to repeat the orders daily. He was meticulous with our needs at the breakfast table and ensured that we were served all we needed. He was assisted by Bushra Khan who was equally diligent and took ample care of us too. Neraj, a young sprightly lad always smiling, helped serve us lunch on Day 1 and that set the tone and the expectation at ll further interactions at the restaurant. Chef: Sanjay Agarwal was most helpful with his suggestions and reached out in an extremely friendly manner even aiding our friend to be a part of the kitchen cooking experience- something that we will always treasure for a long time to come. Great leadership shows in his cuisine options and the service too at the restaurant even when it was crowded due to the New Year Eve. Our rooms were constantly attended to and regularly stacked with ample water and towels. All the handiwork of ever helpful and cheerful Anil from HOUSEKEEPING. Still unable to figure out how he was constantly around and we never had to call for housekeeping for any of our needs including Laundry as he was almost always outside in the corridors. We were also met by Ranjana , his Supervisor to ensure that our stay was comfortable in the rooms. It would be incomplete if we did not mention the very obvious fact that all this team work and meticulous flow of being cheerful and constantly helpful was being silently orchestrated by your Operations Manager Mr. Ranjit Sanghi, who is clearly a great asset to your property here and clearly shows acumen and leadership ensuring the wheels of all necessary functions are running smooth at all times. This even more so at a challenging peak time of the New Year's eve. We are grateful for his support, advice on places to eat and owe him BIG THANK YOU from us all. As a TAJ patron since 1983, the difference in management shows and shines in this case at your Lucknow Property.
