We love the hotel’s location as it’s close to popular tourist places. The room was bigger than expected and was cleaned everyday.

Thompson Hotel has a great vibe. I love the modern, but cozy design of both the lobby bar lounge and the guestroom. The biophilia is a pleasant touch. I absolutely love the elegant glass closet in the guestroom, equipped with a steamer and pullout glass covered safe! The conscious design of a long stone ledge with a small upholstered section is such a great design detail, as most of us travel with a center-split suitcase. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and the staff is wonderful. The happy hour was a nice welcoming touch, as well as a drink on the house for later. Unfortunately I did not have time to explore the restaurant and club. In my opinion the guestroom corridor was too dark and it was a bit awkward that the elevator going up to the club opens up to the guestroom corridor as well. As a solo traveler I am a bit uncomfortable with club guests being able to enter a guestroom corridor. In my opinion the elevator should be designated for the club. Overall a great hotel!

This is the only place i stay when im in los angeles. They always take care of my wife and i so well and the rooms are always clean and well maintained. The staff is always so lovely, our last visit we we helped by Yai L. she made my check in process so easy and enjoyable made my birthday stay there so much more enjoyable. The rooftop restaurant is also so good the food is always on point and staff is great. The valet is always amazing too they make sure your car is safe and gets back to you fast and in one piece. Overall this place is great and i highly recommend you stay here.

Overall great property and in a great location. However we were on 9th floor and could hear the rooftop bar/club however front desk offered to move us to a more quiet room

Unfortunately breakfast was not included although it was booked. There is only a la card and nobody knew what the included breakfast meant. In the end you could choose between two things on the breakfast menu. Parking is also done by an external company that charges $55/day. It was also not said that it costs a city of 35$/day/guest. And from Thursday to Saturday there is a lot of partying on the rooftop and in the surrounding area, because the rooftop bar itself also becomes a club. The neighbourhood is very unattractive with some homeless people and a bit shady overall.

We really enjoyed our time at the Thompson Hotel. Valet was easy, check in was very quick, and our hotel room was clean. It was very convenient for our concert at the Hollywood palladium. Thank you!

The stay was amazing and the rooms are incredibly nice and big. The night club noise is not as bad as what other reviewers claim. However, the area is full of homeless people and makes you feel unsafe. There are also limited food choices because hollywood area is full of storefront closures

Recently stayed at this hotel and was captivated by the beautiful lobby and spacious rooms, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere. The rooftop added a special touch, offering a fantastic view. However, it's important to note that amenities like parking, food, and drinks leaned towards the pricier side. They have only Valet parking at premises, which is about $60 per night. Despite this, the overall experience was delightful, and the amenities provided an unforgettable stay.

HOTEL ITSELF IS REALLY NICE. UNFORTUNATELY I CANT SAY THE SAME ABOUT THE SERVICE AND THE STAFF. UPON ARRIVAL, WE WAITED 15 MINS FOR ANYONE TO COME TO FRONT DESK TO CHECK US IN, WE HAD TO ASK VALET GUY TO COME FIND SOMEONE. YES, IT WAS LATE WHEN WE CHECKED IN BUT SOMEONE SHOULD ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE. SPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE PAYING WHAT WE PAID FOR THE ROOM. FIRST THING TO KNOW, THERE IS METERED PARKING IN FRONT BUT BE READY TO HAVE TO CCOME OUT AT 7AM TO PUT CHANGE IN IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET TICKETED, OR JUST PAY FOR VALET, BUT IT WILL BE $65.00 , WE ENDED UO ONLY STAYING IN ROOM FOR LESS THAN 3 HRS AND HAD TO LEAVE. I FORGOT A FEW ITEMS AND WHEN I REALIZED IT, I CALLED HOTEL. IT TOOK OVER 40 MINS, 3 HANG UPS, AND RUDE INCOMPETENT WORKERS TO FINALLY GET SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED. OH AND MY ITEMS, WHICH INCLUDED A BURBERRY WOMEN PERFUME WAS NOT FOUND IN MY ROOM (OF COURSE IT WASNT RIGHT) OH AND BE READY TO GET MULTIPLE CHARGES TO YOUR CARD, INLUDING EVIAN WATER, THAT YOU DONT EVEN TOUCH. REVIEW YOUR CHARGES, IN MY CASE I NEVER RECEIVED THE EMAILED RECEIPT OF CHARGES AS STATED WHEN I CHECKED OUT ONLINE DURING EXPRESS CHECK OUT. AND WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE CHARGES I BASICALLY GOT A RUDE DUDE ON THE PHONE THAT COULDNT GIVE TO SHTS ABOUT WHAT I NEEDED. AND ON TOP OF IT HE THOUGHT HE PUT ME ON HOLD AND WAS BAD MOUTHING ME TO A CO WORKER AND I HEARD IT ALL. STAY AWAY FROM THS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH ALOT OF NONSENCE AND WASTE TIME HAVING TO BE ON THE PHONE
