Hotel molto caratteristico, a pochi minuti dalla Walk of Fame.

A lot of the staff members were super rude!!!! Only met one nice staff member and that was the valet guy (night time) . The shower was horrible as well . The water was scorching hot and couldn’t change the temperature. The AC did not work it was blowing out super hot air . We woke up in the middle of the night dripping in sweat . The morning valet guy was super rude as well . Made it seem like it was an inconvenience to him that we were checking out and that he had to get the car . Maybe pick a different profession if you’re going to get upset when it’s time to work ? The energy in the hotel was super eerie as well . I wish I could get my money back !!!!!!!!! Super disappointed

I visited this hotel for one night on a solo trip. I was looking for a hotel at a reasonable cost, in walkable proximity to Hollywood and Griffith Park with clean, modern amenities - And this hotel was perfect. Whilst ticking those boxes, the hotel has so much character and has that Hollywood feel to it. The hotel has an old-style layout but has been furnished lovely. The room was spotless, large and had every amenity needed, including free safe and coffee machine - More than enough needed in a place where you won't be spending much time in the room! The location was ideal to walk to Hollywood walk of fame and Griffith Observatory, which took around an hour to get to the top - I recommend the walk at sunrise for an unforgettable experience. Like much of LA, there was homeless people around the area, which I can imagine being intimidating for families, but as long as you mind your own business I doubt you would have any issues. I 100% recommend The Clark Street Diner connected to the hotel. The atmosphere, staff and food are excellent with plenty of options and large portions - It was by far the best breakfast I had during my time in the states. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for all groups and those travelling solo.

The decor is full of old hollywood photos and a general 1950's vibe, which is quite fun... although having a picture of Audrey Hepburn watching you shower is slightly off putting. But jokes aside, it's close to all the main Hollywood attractions, the diner next door is a destination in and of itself, and the rooms are large and comfortable. My only real complaint is that there is zero noise protection. You'll hear footsteps above, voices beside, and garbage trucks outside. Most of that gets drowned out by the AC though.

Fantastic little hotel. Honestly it was such good value for money. A great base for exploring hollywood and minutes from Universal Studios. I will absolutely return. It has a bar, diner, vending, ice, washer/dryers, valet and friendly staff. Fab

Excellent location. Walkable to restaurants and bars nearby. 10 minute walk to the walk of fame. Hollywood/wind Metro Station right there as well. There’s a cool diner attached to the hotel. A small bar there as well. Rooms were spacious and we enjoyed our stay!

Big room, friendly staff and very close to Hollywood walk of fame, less than 10 minutes walk to Hollywood and Vine metro and dash bus stops outside. We paid $73 for an uber from the airport and $54 back, prices vary depending upon demand. The Hollywood sign and the observatory are both walkable (c1-1.5 hours) Clarke’s dinner was great and nearby (3 mins walk to the right) there is a good burger joint (for the win) a pizza place, coffee and donut shop and convenience store. We found in Hollywood there is a lack of cafe bar culture (this exists more in WeHo) but less than a ten minute walk going left along Franklin is Franklin village and a few bars - the cantina does a happy hour from 3-6 with really good margaritas and tables outside so they can be enjoyed in the sunshine, it took us 3 days to find this and we were regulars once we did.

NO REFUNDS!! Do NOT book with this hotel if at any point you need a refund or cancel your booking!!! They WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY! A friend of mine booked 3 months in advance and due to the recent fires in the area she wanted to cancel her reservation. The manager is NEVER AROUND to speak to and doesn’t call back either! Completely ignoring her and refusing to refund!

The vibiest little Hollywood hotel! We regret only staying here one night, because we wanted to be able to enjoy the pool and diner, but we'll definitely be back. The art work is terrific, the Hollywood sign room and bathroom were HUGE, and the decor is just so wonderful. The valet parking cost was pretty reasonable for Hollywood, too!

My company cancelled my trip of this Friday due to fire in LA (for employees safety). I was planning to spend 2 nights on the weekend before my working week for leisure with my own funds but I can’t come anymore. I know my room was non redundable and was asking for a commercial gesture as circumstances are exceptional and so many people need relocations in LA actually anyway. I would have accepted that they keep 50% of the initial payment to make a compromise, but they didn’t propose a single penny…

I would encourage members of the LA community, and visitors to LA, to look for another hotel rather than support the Adler. The Adler calls itself "A Hollywood Hotel" and even sometimes refers to itself as "A Hollywood Hills Hotel," but they should be ashamed to consider themselves members of the community. During this horrible time for Los Angeles when wildfires are devastating the city and surrounding areas, causing shutdowns and closures and evacuations, they denied multiple requests, even with several days notice, to cancel my one-night reservation or even give credit for a future stay when the city was safer and things were back open. At one point, they even declined to move off their "non refundable" policy while there was a fire in the Hollywood Hills (a location that is in the hotel's name!). The staff was terse, and often rude, about this. I did not end up staying at the hotel out of concern for my safety. While other venues, theatres, etc, and hotels booked by others I talked to, offered refunds (even ones that stayed open), this place was rigid and repeatedly said that my room was non refundable... which of course means that they were choosing and exercising a right not to refund. As the city comes together during the tough times caused by these Wildfires, I encourage people who love this city to support businesses and hotels that love it back.

If you're looking for a nice (and big!) room, comfy bed, breakfast or brunch options available and a decent drive distance to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Hills or Downtown, this is it! Although arriving late at night, our check-in experience was nice. The room was very spacious and well-equipped, including a Marshall speaker and a set of basic cosmetics. Valet parking available (around $35/day). Downstairs, connected with the hotel, there is a great diner, so it's a perfect spot to grab breakfast before heading to the town.
