Hotel in zona Lond Capital, Londra

My mother and I stayed in the Curve Suite, and the experience was exceptional. The service and facilities in the room were incredible—everything was spotlessly clean, and any issues or needs were addressed within minutes. The room itself was spacious with stunning views, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. The Executive Lounge was also outstanding, offering breathtaking views and a fantastic selection of snacks and drinks, which were constantly replenished by the attentive staff. If I had to mention one small improvement, it would be that the lounge could be a bit larger to accommodate everyone more comfortably, as there was occasionally a slight wait during peak hours to find a seat. However, this minor detail did not detract from the overall exceptional experience. I would especially highlight the service at the Buffet and the Front Desk; both were highly responsive, attentive, and hospitable. A special thanks to Fanny, the Assistant Front Office Manager, for making our celebration so special and enjoyable with her outstanding support and care.

L'hotel è obsoleto di cui eravamo a conoscenza e non ci sono problemi, ma se stai cercando qualcosa di moderno non è il posto che fa per te. Le porte dell'ascensore erano molto appiccicose e non sembravano aprirsi correttamente e avevano un cattivo odore. Check-in ok, siamo andati nella nostra camera che aveva il riscaldamento al massimo e la temperatura era di 39 °C. Abbiamo provato ad aprire la finestra ma era tenuta chiusa solo da una vite. Il letto era molto comodo per dormire, ma siamo rimasti solo una notte, quindi non era poi così male. La mattina dopo siamo stati disturbati dalle pulizie che entravano nella nostra stanza alle 8 del mattino salutando, poi uscendo rapidamente e poi passando l'aspirapolvere nei corridoi sbattendo i muri e la nostra porta. Ne abbiamo parlato alla reception, ma siamo stati accolti da un membro del personale scortese che ha indicato un'altra signora e poi se ne è andato. La signora dietro la scrivania ha detto che parlerà di nuovo con le pulizie, quindi sembra che questo accada spesso. Abbiamo quindi deciso di andare a fare colazione e ci è stato detto che costavano 15 a testa! Apparentemente al momento del check-in è possibile acquistare la colazione a una tariffa scontata di £ 12,50 ma nessuno ce l'ha detto o offerto al momento del check-in. Abbiamo deciso di andare altrove a fare colazione. Nel complesso abbiamo trascorso un buon viaggio a Londra ma non consiglieremo questo hotel né ritorneremo mai più. Vorrei aver speso un po' di più e andare in un hotel migliore.

I was looking forward to the stay. However when I arrived on Thursday, 16th May around 9:00PM I was told by both receptionists that I had two rooms booked when only one was booked. I booked twice through another party and cancelled both and showed this to them on the app, clearly showing cancellations. They weren't really interested and said it was not their problem but mine! The said that I would be charged a no-show fee after midnight for the room, which would be about £300. I told them several times that I had proof of cancellation but they did not accept this. The told me to call the agents myself and sort it out. I had to send a message and call the agents at this time of night. Fortunately the agency was extremely helpful and said emails had been sent to the property indicating the cancellations and not to worry (unlike the two girls at reception). They then promised to contact the hotel directly and inform them. About 20 mins after sorting it out, the duty manager called me and said that it was sorted, I told them I had already sorted it myself after being told to by those two girls at reception. So it looked like the oversight was the hotel itself, not me, nor the agency. The agency also tried to call them to speak about the issue but nobody picked up the phone, even though there were two on duty and it was quiet. NOT the nicest or friendliest welcome to a hotel at all!! Aside from this, the room had a great view from the 25th floor, bed was not very comfortable and small. Staff were mostly nice, but some were miserable. All the other reception staff we spoke to were lovely. Breakfast was alright. Best thing about the hotel is the views really. I think if I hadn't had such an uncaring welcome, it wouldn't have tarnished my overall view.

Ho prenotato una notte per un matrimonio. È un grazioso hotel boutique, una delle opzioni più economiche al momento per la zona, ma comunque nella fascia di prezzo di Londra. Situato a Wood Wharf, una zona più nuova di Canary Wharf, c'erano molti lavori in corso nelle vicinanze e quindi alcune strade erano chiuse. C'è un Dishoom accanto e anche il ristorante dell'hotel che non ho provato. Anche alcune caffetterie e altri ristoranti di fronte all'hotel e Amazon Fresh (negozio self-service) era dall'altra parte della strada. Per gli hotel di Londra, aspettatevi che i servizi siano mediocri. Sorprendentemente, c'era acqua in bottiglia gratuita in camera, sfortunatamente, aveva il sapore del cartone in cui era arrivata. La doccia era buona, era potente e l'acqua calda era sufficiente. Fortunatamente, lo shampoo e il balsamo non erano 2 in 1, ma il bagnoschiuma e il sapone per le mani sì. La camera era complessivamente angusta, non c'era spazio per una valigia di medie dimensioni, avevo una valigia da cabina e dovevo tenerla chiusa per poter camminare nella stanza. Materasso e cuscini sono molto molto morbidi. Un po' deludente che il check-in sia così tardivo e rigorosamente alle 15:00 e il check-out così presto alle 11:00. Sono rimasto solo una notte, quindi ho davvero avuto la sensazione di quanto sia stato breve. Non ho interagito molto con lo staff, ma niente di straordinario. I servizi TV sono stati stranamente interrotti dopo l'1:00, non so se è solo una coincidenza, ma sono tornati la mattina. Vicinissimo alla stazione di Canary Wharf, quindi è stato bello. Più o meno quello che ci si aspetta da un hotel medio di Londra, ma se hai viaggiato in Asia o forse anche in Europa, saprai che c'è ancora molto margine di miglioramento/confronto, soprattutto nell'indice costi-prestazioni.

Hotel meraviglioso! Pulito, aggiornato e con aria condizionata! Cambio colore delle luci, grande TV. C'erano le Olimpiadi. Ci sono delle estensioni dall'altro lato, quindi non siamo stati disturbati dal rumore. Ci sono dei posti dove mangiare nelle vicinanze e una bella passeggiata lungo il canarino. La posizione per un taxi è un po' difficile da trovare. E i bagni sono un po' piccoli. Ma è stato un soggiorno fantastico! Personale cortese e disponibile. Grazie

L'hotel non è male, c'è una navetta gratuita per l'altra sponda del fiume. Anche il ragazzo al piano di sotto è gentile. Torna la prossima volta. Ci vuole più di un'ora per arrivare dall'aeroporto. Camera King Deluxe consigliata con vista sul Tamigi

I was lucky enough to be able to check in early at midday and make extra use of the spa facilities, which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Great location for attending events at the O2, especially with the covered walk way to the arena, direct from the hotel. The pool area of the spa is nice but looking slightly tired in places (one of the sets of steps into the pool was broken) and my room was well equipped (with an amazing river view from the 14th floor) but a little characterless. But over all it was very good. I'd stay again!

Bene. L'unico inconveniente è che la camera degli ospiti viene pulita troppo presto, bussando alla porta dopo le 8 del mattino? ? ? La colazione è sempre stata la stessa, ma sarebbe meglio se potesse essere cambiata. Nel complesso, è molto meglio del Royal Foundation Hotel della porta accanto.

Ci piaceva la stanza, molto grande per due persone, e quando siamo arrivati tutto era pronto. Anche loro hanno messo il riscaldamento nella nostra stanza prima di arrivare. Abbiamo fatto una bella doccia e abbiamo fatto un bel riposo. Tutti i dipendenti erano così amici e di aiuto. La posizione era anche grande, vicino al Museo Maritime, mercato di Natale e Prime Meridian. L'unico commento negativo potrebbe essere il colazione. Possono aumentare la selezione, ma potrebbe essere normale per la cucina britannica. Non sono mai rimasto a letto e colazione in Gran Bretagna prima, quindi potrebbe essere normale. In generale, ci piaceva stare lì

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione, molto vicino all'Osservatorio di Greenwich, e anche gli autobus e la metropolitana sono ben sviluppati. Ci sono anche molti minimarket e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Le camere sono pulite e ordinate e la reception è cordiale e premurosa.
