I appreciate that you were not too keen on our location, however many of our guests love being so close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. We are also very lucky to be only a 2-minute walk to Tower Hill Tube Station, which has great connections all over London. I completely understand if you prefer to tip the staff directly, however please note it is standard practice for five star hotels in central London to add a discretionary service charge to the bill, and as you mentioned, it is completely up to you if you would like to pay it or not. Some of our guests do ask for it to be removed, as they already tipped the staff directly. It is completely discretionary.
