If you're looking for somewhere to SLEEP, I do not recommend this hotel! We stayed for 1 night and got no sleep due to an event on in the room above ours. This is a pretty old building so the walls, floors etc are all very thin. The music was SO loud in our room it was vibrating the lights! and could be easily heard word for word....even in the shower!! We complained to reception who told us there were no other rooms available...the lady working spoke with the hotel manager who was off. She informed her the event was on till 1am but the music would be turned down at 12....this did not happen! When they finally turned the music off at 1:30 they then spend another 2 hours dragging furniture around which was also incredibly loud! We finally fell asleep and were then startled awake before 8am by them dragging heavy furniture around again!! We complained again when checking out and member of staff apologised but was not sympathetic to the situation at all. We felt it was as though they cared more about keeping the event guests happy than the hotel residents. The manager was still off but was due in the following day, our information was to be passed to her for her to call us (as we obviously requested a full refund)....we've still heard nothing from her!.... My husband and I never complain and if there's a problem we just suck it up, but this was so shocking and unbelievable it could not be ignored!

Beh, ho dovuto riposare da qualche parte dato che tutti i posti in zona erano prenotati, il ragazzo con cui ho parlato era un bravo ragazzo, micheal era il suo nome, ho dovuto prendere un monolocale perché era tutto quello che avevano, tutto quello che volevo era la tv e doccia, quindi prime impressioni, sì, è un monolocale, splendide viste sui viali verdi, la prima cosa è stato il filo che pendeva dal muro, che mi è stato detto per la TVCC, (campanello d'allarme) perché la TVCC in una stanza tutti i cavi sono normalmente esterni. Probabilmente è solo una comunicazione errata. Quindi la prima cosa che faccio sempre è accendere la scatola, ne accendiamo uno, e scopriamo che entrambi non funzionavano, quindi ho chiamato Michael e lui ha risolto il problema immediatamente, ottimo servizio. Ho avuto solo alcuni problemi, 1 era come il Sahara, ma c'erano 3 ventole, quindi tutto bene, 2 piani cottura non collegati con fili appena lasciati nell'armadio (per fortuna ho dimenticato i miei super noodles). 3 l'allarme antincendio è nell'armadio con coperta antincendio ed estintore, il che è un no no ma è facilmente risolvibile, a parte questo, tutto bene, ci tornerò, oh questa camera ha vista su viali verdi ma senza tende, quindi ti svegli quando sorge il sole, ma ehi, anche gli uccelli, rapporto qualità-prezzo? Probabilmente se risolvono i problemi di sicurezza e le tende, anche i cavi nel piano cottura e la coperta antincendio e l'estintore esposti, ma a parte questo, è verde bosco e ci tornerei.

Utilizziamo la Royal National ogni volta che visitiamo Londra, il che può accadere alcune volte all'anno, all'inizio per la posizione (è a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana di Russell Square, a 10 minuti dal British Museum e a 15 minuti da Oxford Street), ma ora per la pulizia e la cordialità del personale, questa volta abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade gratuito in una camera nuova e rinnovata, i letti sono sempre comodi e la camera è sempre estremamente pulita, niente è un problema per il personale delle pulizie e gli extra come il tè e il latte ecc. viene sempre fornito non appena richiesto. Anche il pub in loco è un vantaggio che offre pasti e un'area salotto all'aperto con tv a grande schermo che questa volta mostrava le partite dell'euro, non era rumoroso o turbolento ed essendo sul retro dell'hotel non abbiamo sentito nulla. Continueremo a utilizzare l'hotel per ogni visita che faremo a Londra.

L'aereo di mattina è arrivato a Londra, pensando di aspettare fino alla sera. L'hotel è molto potente. L'hotel è stato organizzato a più di dodici ore. È stata aggiornata anche una suite più grande. Il viaggio è stato spostato per i primi tre giorni con il bambino e giocare molto divertente. È anche una bella esperienza di alloggio. Il soggiorno è molto buono. I bambini amano molto, ci sono cioccolato e cioccolato felice ogni giorno. Inoltre, la colazione nella stanza holborn è molto buona. La prossima volta a Londra, sceglieremo qui

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno incantevole a St Giles, Londra. Hotel ben posizionato, vicino alla stazione di Tottenham Court Road, fermate dell'autobus, supermercati, negozi, ristoranti, teatri, ecc. Dall'aeroporto di Heathrow, abbiamo preso la linea Elizabeth fino alla stazione di Tottenham Court Road e l'hotel era a pochi passi di distanza. Anche il British Museum era nelle vicinanze. Il personale dell'hotel era cordiale, disponibile ed efficiente. Dato che siamo arrivati ​​piuttosto presto, Nikki ci ha aiutato a prenotare una stanza prima dell'orario di check-in ufficiale, in modo da poter riporre i bagagli e riposarci. I ragazzi della portineria sono stati fantastici, ci hanno dato consigli su come arrivare al meglio a destinazione. Il signore cinese, mi spiace, non ho capito il suo nome, mi ha anche aiutato con le prenotazioni sull'app Bolt! Abbiamo prenotato 2 nuove camere doppie. Sebbene fossero piccole, erano sufficienti per 2 persone in ciascuna stanza. Tutti i servizi di cui avevamo bisogno erano disponibili e le camere venivano pulite accuratamente quando tornavamo dalle nostre visite turistiche. Non c'era l'aria condizionata nelle camere ma il tempo era fantastico, quindi non abbiamo avuto problemi. La colazione servita era ottima, con un'ampia varietà. Buona scelta per il nostro breve soggiorno a Londra.

Proprio accanto alla stazione di Paddington quindi puoi andare ovunque a Londra Pensavo che fossimo più vicini al centro città ma era a 20/30 minuti di distanza l'hotel era buono per quello che abbiamo pagato non mi aspettavo 5* era buona posizione e pulito unico problema il nostro problema era che ti facevano pagare per lasciare i bagagli se avevi un volo/treno in ritardo di cui non avevo mai sentito parlare prima, quindi dovevamo portare i nostri bagagli in giro sarebbe stato più facile se avessimo potuto lasciarli e tornare indietro

We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we
