Chatsworth House Hotel

Have just had 2 nights B & B here. Staff are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Had a good breakfast. Our room had recently been updated and was clean, comfortable and had plenty of storage. We didn’t use the pool as we didn’t really have time but others told us it was a very nice one. Entertainment was great. The owner & staff are working very hard to update this hotel, not perfect but i would certainly return.

Double room was tiny and smelt old. Bed was on its last legs and the bathroom was in a tiny cupboard. The ceiling was decorated with damp stains. On a plus the food was good and served hot. Our window view was onto the Queens hotel next door which was derelict.

This hotel is absolutely filthy. Our room was vile and the beds and pillows awful. I did tell reception how dirty our room was and they didn't seem very interested and just asked me to send the videos I'd taken of the filth to her. It's so grubby and tired and in absolutely no way a 3 star! The pool is in the basement with no ventilation and a worrying amount of stagnant water droplets all over the ceiling ( legionnaires?). Also this area was very dirty. See pics. Very thankful we only stayed 1 night for a quick get away!

We stayed on the 11th January on a mystery trip visit, was so excited we had come to wales, absolutely beautiful location and town. The room we was initially given was a bit pokey, slightly grubby and facing the back, after speaking with reception we were then given an alternate room which was much much better with a great sea view and great view of the pier! We enjoyed our trip that much we have booked again to visit in March and the summer! Hopefully we can request the same room again. Reception staff were friendly and useful and the restaurant staff were very attentive. Great breakfast! There was entertainment on in the evening at the hotel, we made it back in time for a fun game of bingo! Can’t wait to come back to Llandudno!

Great budget hotel. Great sea feont lication walking distance to all amenities. We came on a mystery weekend that included dinner, bed and breakfast The hotel was a little dated but very clean. We were on the 2nd floor. Some noise from entertainment (bingo/music) underneath and loud people going back to rooms at night but this is expected in a hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. Separate bathroom with sink in main room. Good wardrobe and storage space. Kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Meal times were busy with several coach tours booked in the hotel. Soup or garlic mushrooms for starters. A choice of chicken, fish, or veg Kiev. And 3 desserts to choose from. Portions were average, and food was ok. I wouldn't complain about the price of the holiday. Breakfast was busy and buffet style. Staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is also available, but we didn't make use of it. Nice bar with good prices for a hotel. Plenty of choice.

We booked last year for New Year 23/24 and enjoyed it so much we wanted to go back for New Year this year 24/25 what a mistake!! Cold food every day, New Years Eve Gala Dinner was Prawn Cocktail left on Table for everyone even if you don't like seafood and poorly Tummy waiting to happen! Two options Beef or Nut Roast don't eat either so asked for sausage which they had for lunch that day. Toast and Tea put on table to go cold before you come down to breakfast, coffee sat in jugs to stew, pudding cheesecake that was still frozen!, need I go on!!! Entertainment was appalling! No countdown to The Bells for New Year, people reserving tables with the free drinks they got earlier so nowhere to sit, not good especially if your 85 years. Party games! Don't even go there! Kids stuff! I may be writing this review but its on behalf of the elderly who cannot use Trip Advisor, like us they came back because last year was great, WHAT HAPPENED! Breaks 2Go if you want someone to visit your Holiday destinations and review them before you offer them to people let me know! Would happily give you honest feedback!
