Premier Inn Liverpool City (Albert Dock)

We were going to a show at the arena so decided to make a night of it and stay over, a Premier Inn is always a safe bet and this one is no exception, we were able to check in early for an additional £15, well worth it, the room was usual premier inn standards but the vaulted brick ceiling made it that bit special, and the view from the window was stunning and the best view I've ever had at Premier Inn, we will definitely stay here again

Disappointing hotel. We stayed the late May Bank holiday and struggled to find somewhere due to it being a busy weekend. We've stayed at other Premier Inns before which were great for the price. This however was not good value, the hotel is in a lovely building and the room was clean and breakfast included which was nice enough. However the dingy rooms need a full refurbishment, mould in the bathroom, filthy windows that don't open. Room fittings were frankly knackered, and we were on the mezzanine floor right above the entrance, had to keep blackout curtains shut as people outside could just look in. Lighting dim and tiny tv which was laughable. Lifts didn't seem to be working and the stairs had debris and litter on. Staff we encountered were helpful just seems a bit rich asking for donation to leave bags with them for an hour or pay 15 early check in after paying 275 for one night!. I'm annoyed we paid so much after seeing other poor reviews but having stayed at Premier Inns before i didnt heed their warnings.

Stayed in many Premier Inns, this one is in a good location, room was spacious but quite tired. Small TV was as far from the bed as possible, 5-6 metres and the remote didn’t work! We only tried to put it on in the morning while getting ready to leave so didn’t matter. Built in furniture was tired, scuffed and missing trim. Large room but not really anywhere to place bags. No USB points, that more modern Premier Inns have.

We stayed here with an amount of trepidation after reading some of the recent reviews, but found it to be clean, friendly and perfect for our needs. Windows were dirty which was a shame as the view was nice. We only had one breakfast which was ok but the staff needed more help so chose to go out for the other days, and there is plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was seriously understaffed. Slow service in bar and restaurant. Staff on duty were very critical of their own management team which suggests a bigger underlying issue. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Not a pleasant experience at all

Overall great stay. The staff were fantastic and it was clean and everything as we wanted. Large room with a great view over the dock. Great location for seeing the sites and the Beatles & city tours operate from just outside the hotel. Will definitely return.
