Please beware of Hotel DAH in Lisbon...the treatment and experience we endured at this hotel were so deplorable, unaccomodating, and unacceptable. We booked this hotel through ******* for 4 nights in Lisbon. Due to the size of our party, 2 adults and 3 children, this was the only option for our family to be in 1 room at the time. After arriving late to check in due to travel, the hotel was very unflattering as the pictures from Expedia's site as well as the hotel's website depicted a completely different image, a complete misrepresentation. In addition, travel sites indicate laundry facilities in which they did not have, only a pricey service that they contract out. As having never been to Lisbon and not knowing the neighborhoods, we were taken back by all of the graffiti on the adjacent abandoned building. The layout of the hotel is very small and bizarre, with an elevator that could not even fit our family and luggage. We booked the quadruple room in order to accommodate our family; however the hotel management informed us that we only made a reservation for 4, even after showing them proof. The hotel stated that anyone older than 12 is considered an adult, and we are only allowed 4 adults. Our children are 17, 14, 14. We were willing to pay the extra bed charge fee, even though we felt that this should have been handled between ******* and the hotel; however after the way we were treated we stated that we were not going to pay the extra bed fee. The General Manager later informed us after we had checked out, that the night attendant, who checked us in, will have to personally pay for the extra person as he did not request the $ from us at time of check-in. I find this very disturbing and disheartening that management would do this as he was the most pleasant person at the property. From being questioned the first night from staff as to why we were checking out the property, being treated like second class citizens from the night attendant (Sandra?), having our room key deactivated and not telling the truth as to why it was deactivated (was told that these things happen, but Nena (General Manager) admitted it was because we hadn't paid the nominal fee for the extra bed/person), and the overall feeling of being constantly watched, not welcomed, and unsafe, we decided to check out early. Nena, the GM, stated that irregardless of our awful experience, this was a non-refundable booking and will not credit us for the 2 nights we did not stay at Hotel DAH. Even ******* felt for our discomfort and assisted us in other ways that we are extremely grateful for. This experience took up quality family vacation time that we can not get back. Please think twice about staying at this property as this was the worst experience we have encountered in all of our years of travel. Pur non essendo nel centro storico, lo stesso è raggiungibile facilmente con il metrò la cui stazione è a pochi passi. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite, altrettanto dicasi del bagno che, finalmente, ha una docce spaziosa. Avevamo compreso la prima colazione, a buffet, questa nella normalità. Nonostante i 18 piano dell'hotel non c'era confusione e l'attesa degli ascensori non era lunga. Personale cortese. Due pecche, forse: il frigorifero in camera era sottochiave e il televisore, nonostante i 103 canali, non ne aveva nessuno in Italiano.

È stato un buon hotel da scegliere se dovessi visitare nuovamente Lisbona! Ho prenotato una camera doppia, ma poiché ero in visita con un amico, ho chiesto se possibile un letto singolo e sono stato davvero grato per il cambiamento. Prima di tutto, la posizione è davvero buona. Sono entrato nel mezzo, ho messo i bagagli, ho caricato il telefono e sono uscito! La colazione era varia e molto gustosa. Anche le persone che lavorano sono gentili, quindi sono stato grato che abbiano ascoltato le mie richieste. L'unico rammarico è che non hanno cambiato gli asciugamani ogni giorno e hanno appeso gli asciugamani che usavano. Inoltre, il pavimento della stanza non è pulito come l'Europa, dove le persone indossano le scarpe all'interno. Tuttavia, non c'erano pantofole usa e getta separate. La prossima volta che vado, penso che porterò le pantofole.

Ottima posizione, comodissima per girare sia a piedi che con i mezzi. Struttura bella, magari un cartello in più fuori non guasterebbe perché ho fatto 3 volte avanti e indietro senza accorgermi della scritta sul vetro. Staff gentile. Camere piccole ma poco importa se si vuole visitare la città e utilizzarlo solo per riposare. Ci vorrebbero alcuni accorgimenti in più; vista la modernità del posto uno si aspetterebbe magari qualche gancio ai letti e non solo quattro appendini in tutto, un poggia sapone nella doccia, magari un dispenser di sapone ad uso comune al posto di una saponetta..il mio letto non era molto comodo ma con la stanchezza della sera ho dormito ugualmente come un ghiro. La colazione decisamente costosa per quello che offre; 7,50€ sono molti considerando che ho pranzato in giro con 12€ e cenato con 15€. Non vengono organizzati eventi, serate, tour, e mi è dispiaciuto perché viaggiando sola avrei gradito passare del tempo in compagnia. Tutto sommato ho soggiornato piacevolmente ma non ci tornerei ecco!

We booked a week at the Lisbon Serviced Apartments - Bairro Alto based on positive reviews from previous visitors. The (eight room) four story apartments are located in the old hilly section of the city where steep and narrow sidewalks are the norm and are slippery during rain. The main entrance is via a short alleyway. Access to the outer main door entrance and individual apartments are very 21st century in that there is no reception. The outside door has a cypher lock and guests use a reservation number to get in. Once inside the 'lobby' space there is a kiosk/screen to check in and get an assigned room and cypher code for your room. The kiosk has language selections to help with directions. There also a one-way phone to speak with a person/assistance. The machine scans documents, i.e., passports or European ID cards. It took me ten minutes and the final phase was to take a photo of the QR square displayed to keep track of your room number and access code. There are four floors with two apartments on each floor. There is an elevator and stairs. The rooms are spacious and well outfitted with a mini kitchen, including dishes, cooking ware, dishwasher, clothes washer and refrigerator. The clothes washer is great, we used it and dried clothes on a clothes hangar that was stashed in the closet. There is a comfortable queen size bed with a large flat screen hanging on the opposite wall. A closet has a self-use strong box with directions (in English) to set-up a personalized multi-digit code during your stay. The bathroom is roomy with a shower stall instead of a bath. Plenty of windows, including in the bathroom. The cross street is named Rua Do Poco Dos Negros and is a main line for the local trams that pass through the neighborhood, with a tram stop maybe 100 feet from the apartments. Taxis pass through here as well. Small restaurants are plentiful within a 15-minute parameter. The popular Plaza del Comercio is about a twenty-minute walk or a Three Euro Tram ride away. Aside from steep streets, the area is safe, even a night. The apartments are a clean, good bargain for staying in Lisbon.

Sono stato con la mia ragazza in questo hotel per 3 notti. Hotel scelto in quanto Hilton, il che di norma garantisce standard di servizio e qualità ritrovabili in tutte le strutture della catena. L’esperienza è stata fantastica, anche meglio del previsto… probabilmente il miglior Hilton in cui sono stato!! In particolare: Camera: camera corner bellissima, spaziosa. Letto grande e molto comodo, Bagno davvero bello e funzionale, doccia comodissima. Pulizia ottima e arredamento ricercato e piacevole. Reception: personale gentilissimo, disponibile e competente. In particolare vorrei ringraziare Rachele, che durante i suoi turni si è presa cura di noi con grandissima professionalità e gentilezza: con Rachele ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa. Food&Beverage: non abbiamo mai pranzato o cenato al ristorante ma abbiamo richiesto il servizio in camera la prima sera e fatto un paio di aperitivi: vorrei fare i complimenti a mr. Peralta e a tutto il suo team per il servizio gentile e di livello che ci è stato dato. Posizione dell’hotel: ottima, un po’ fuori dal centro città ma con taxi o uber in pochissimi minuti si raggiunge qualsiasi posto di interesse. Mentre si è proprio a due passi dalle più importanti discoteche di Lisbona. Unici nei, che vorrei lasciare più come consigli che come critiche: - in camera, pur avendo due porte finestre non è possibile aprirle, ad eccezione di una delle due che è apribile solo pochi cm: capisco la questione sicurezza, ma almeno una buona apertura basculante di entrambe si potrebbe garantire. - Probabilmente non l’avremmo usata per questioni di tempo, ma in hotel così bello è un peccato che non ci sia una spa (mi sembra anche strano che non ci sia).. anche piccola sarebbe stata sufficiente, al -1 al posto di una sala riunioni o della palestra potrebbe essere un vero miglioramento alla struttura che nel complesso è già ottima. Nel complesso esperienza fantastica. Se mai ritornassi a Lisbona non avrei dubbi su quale hotel prenotare!

Questo è stato un posto brillante per stare che ha grande valore per soldi, confortevole e in una posizione davvero grande proprio fuori dal centro di Lisbona. I collegamenti di trasporto erano abbondanti e devo dare 5 stelle al nostro ospite (scusate, non sono riuscito a catturare il suo nome - credo che potrebbe essere Pedro??) che era incredibilmente amichevole, professionale e ci ha fatto sentire molto benvenuti nell'edificio. Il nostro unico problema era quello di lasciare le tasche al mattino, mentre il check-in non si apriva fino alle 15:00. Ci è stato detto che potevamo fare questo a partire dalle 10:00, perché ci sarebbe stato il personale di pulizia, ma quando usiamo il buzzer alla porta anteriore non abbiamo avuto risposta. Fortunatamente siamo riusciti a entrare attraverso un altro paio di soggiorni nell'edificio. Da qui un membro del personale di pulizia era felice di bloccare i bagagli in ricezione fino a che non si apriva il check-in. Solo una cosa minore in generale, ma questo processo potrebbe essere un po' meglio :) grazie per averci avuto!

This is a rather elegant Pousada which is managed by the Pestana Hotel chain. Checking in at Reception was painless and swift. The staff generally were pleasant and friendly. Our bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the car park. We needed to keep the windows closed for security and the curtains closed for privacy. The bedroom was pleasantly furnished and in good condition. The bed was king size and very comfy. There was plenty of hanging space for clothing The size of the room left very little space to conveniently store suitcases. The room was equipped with a refrigerator but no mini bar. There was also a television which as far as I could tell only had Portuguese programs. I could not find any English language programs. This did not really a problem because I was staying at this hotel for a limited time and did not want to watch TV. The bathroom was en suite with both a bath and a shower. The bath was useless because it did not have a bath plug and the hotel staff were unable to find a bath plug for me. There was plenty of tepid warm water for washing. However you need to have patience to have hot water. Hot water took a lifetime before it reached our room Our bedroom must have been some distance from the boiler because other guests did not suffer the same problem. A lot of water was wasted while waiting for the hot water. This was not a good way to “Save the Planet” as instructed by a sign / notice on display in the bathroom from the hotel management. The plug in the wash hand basin did not work properly. As you will realise having a wash in this hotel was a bit of an ordeal. Buffet breakfast had lots to chose from with a choice hot and cold dishes. The Lounge bar is comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Apart from the lack of bath plugs, the hotel is in good condition and decorative order.

The hotel is very nice and new looking. Very clean. Andre is so helpful at the front desk as are all of the staff. Loved it here. But for a long stay I would want more amenities but for the price and 2 nights, it was perfect. Lidl Grocery store across the street.
