LV Premier Chiado CH

Disappointing stay in this apartment for a number of reasons. No key code was provided for the building door, and no second key was inside. We only gained access via other guests arriving and sharing the door code. When we tried to call the number on the door for the office, we reached the manager who provided several incorrect codes and then became aggressive accusing my friend of being drunk and that being why we were unable to enter the building. It was not late and we were completely sober. Not all the beds had bedding. Apparently, because we were not the full occupancy for the apartment, they decided they would determine which beds we could use and which would have no sheets, including making up a double bed accessible only from one side rather than 2 singles when we were a group of friends. The bedding (that was there) was sweaty and smelt absolutely disgusting. The kind of smell that clings to you. Very grateful we only stayed 2 nights. The front bedrooms were full of mosquitos. The plastic holder for the shower head in one bathroom was broken. However, this wasn't indicated, and I found out when the shower head came away from the wall blasting scalding hot water in my eye on the way. The hot water is extremely hot and not behind any kind of temperature control. The day before departure we asked for a 1hr late check out and were told it should be possible as the flat wasn't booked on our departure day. It was later refused without reason. We asked if an extra 30mins was possible instead (the apt was empty after all), and were told it would be raised with the manager - no one got back to us until 30mins before the standard check out time, when it was refused. A member of staff was then on the doorstep at exactly the check out time wanting us to pay 80€ for overstaying. Luckily, we had seen the email, were ready and left. Bad experience with the apartment, I would not recommend it for the disgusting bedding alone. Also with the management who were rude and failed to provide basic requirements or courtesy.

We stayed for 2 nights in this great flat. Location is incredible. Flat is very comfortable and well appointed. We really only used it as a place to sleep but you could easily have eaten here. There was everything you need to make a meal. The office was well run and helpful answering every question promptly. I would recommend.
