Martinhal Lisbon Oriente

L'hotel è situato vicino al Parc des Nations nel Nuovo Distretto di Lisbona. È molto nuovo e pulito. Le camere sono grandi e adatte a viaggi in famiglia. Si tratta di un appartamento servito a cinque stelle. I materiali di decorazione degli interni sono di prim'ordine e il servizio è molto buono. È il miglior hotel di questo appartamento in Europa!

Very new and nice hotel

We decided to visit Lisbon for 4 nights at the end of the Easter School holidays . 2 adults . 1 teenager and 1 kindergarten age .. staying in a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment . We wanted access to the city with the facilities such as a swimming pool , kids club , restaurant on site if needed . This place did not disappoint . The size of the apartments , the quality of the furnishings and equipment in the apartments was outstanding. The buffet breakfast was good especially the omelettes , which took a little time to surface but was worth the wait . The staff were super friendly and helpful . They explained to us how to operate the different equipment and devices in our apartment personally . The swimming facilities were excellent . We enjoyed the Ocenarium, Science Museum, Cable Car and just walking around the area. Just €15 into town in a taxi and we saw many of the famous landmarks .. Public transport was also good we enjoyed taking the underground , tram and buses also .. The supermarket was very close by 6 min walk and we made some simple family friendly meals in our apartment . We wish we could have stayed for longer !

The hotel is very nice, particularly the hotel staffs. Conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, beach front and attractions. Will recommend this hotel to my fellow travelers

Having stayed in two of the other Martinhal resorts, we had confidence that we would experience an excellent stay at Oriente, and weren’t disappointed. The hotel being new (June 2023) is well appointed, clean and has all the modern touches you would expect. And the staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bed and it was clean, spacious and decked out with “Smeg” appliances, which all seem to be hardly used. If you are self catering mostly then a couple of supermarkets are 10 minutes away. It’s very close to the Aquarium, Science Museum and a plethora of bars and restaurants as well. The Metro is a 10 minute walk and it’s 15 mins to the airport. The breakfast is a wide spread and not at all dissimilar to the other Martinhal properties. Overall a great place to stay.

I stayed in Martinhal Oriente for one week over Easter with my 5 year old son. We have stayed in the Martinhal jn Sagres a few times and the one in Cascais before it was sold and I love the brand for the child-friendly philosophy. I decided to try the new Oriente hotel as Easter fell too early for a beach holiday and we love exploring cities. It was an absolutely perfect holiday. The apartments are very well-equipped for a family holiday with an excellent small kitchen which gave us the option of cooking a few nights, and a washer-drier. The bedrooms are also away from the corridor which means they are much quieter than in other hotels and very comfortable. The pool area was perfect with a small child and the kids room is really well equipped for a range of ages up to teenagers (pool table and gaming screens). The staff are helpful, attentive to children which is really lovely because kids are often treated as invisible in other hotels, and always very friendly. We recognised Seema, the hotel manager, from our time in Cascais two years ago and she was delightful as ever. Very much on top of all the details in the hotel and quick to react when my son had a little accident out and about in Lisbon. The location is a bit outside the city but we used a combination of Metro and Ubers to get around. We visited the aquarium (just two blocks away) twice, the zoo, the natural history museum and botanical gardens, did a boat trip, and explored the city and the Castelo San Jorge. Fortunately Lisbon has so much to see and do that we would happily go back and not repeat the same experiences. The breakfast and dinners were very good and the Easter Sunday brunch was a particular treat. I would highly recommend a visit. We chose Oriente over the Chiado Martinhal because of the pools and it was a great choice. We didn’t even leave the hotel one of the days which is exceptional for a city hotel!

This place was amazing. It was built in July 2023. Everything is new plenty of things for kids to do. Restaurants were wonderful and everyone was really friendly. The room and amenities were high-end

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Lisbon. The hotel is magnificent, the accommodation is clean, beautifully furnished and only a short walk from the metro, bus and train station in the oriente area of Lisbon. The owners are very visible at the hotel so you can be assured that standards will remain high. I highly recommend staying at this hotel next time you visit Lisbon.
