ostello a Lisbona

Non fornire armadietti con chiavi integrate, quindi dovresti tenere lo zaino nel letto. Il letto del 2 ° piano non era completamente separato dal piano superiore, quindi il tuo vicino potrebbe vederti o prendere le tue cose. La colazione era ok per il prezzo, ma la mancanza di uova e salsicce. La connessione Wifi è molto debole nella stanza. Se qualcuno russa forte, per i tappi per le orecchie dovresti pagare 1 €.

I miei amici e io abbiamo soggiornato in una camera privata di 4 dormitori per 4 notti. L'ostello è stato perfetto in generale. La stanza era molto pulita e i letti erano comodi. Sono stati forniti asciugamani freschi ogni mattina. Possibile salire su un piccolo balcone con vista sulla città è un bonus (ci siamo stati al quarto piano). Anche se condiviso, il bagno per il nostro piano era sempre pulito e con due bagni, due docce e un'urina, direi che è molto numerose per il numero di camere che lo condividono. Infatti, durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo raramente incontrato altri ospiti in essa. Il personale della reception è amichevole e utile e parla un ottimo inglese. Non abbiamo provato il 3 euro colazione, quindi non posso commentare. La posizione dell'ostello è fantastica - a soli 15 minuti a piedi dal centro della città e ci sono collegamenti di metro e tram proprio intorno all'angolo. La zona circostante l'ostello contiene diversi bar decenti che sono molto, molto più economico dei posti eccessivamente costosi nel centro. Vi sono anche diversi ristoranti eccellenti nelle vicinanze, tra cui un grande barbecue portoghese a pochi metri intorno all'angolo e un ristorante cinese brillante lungo la strada principale (Noveu Paris). Il centro turistico è stato un'ottima struttura, che è stata ampiamente ubicata in un'area di grande valore.

Molto buon servizio da parte della reception, letti soddisfacenti, spazio pulito e organizzato, accento per il caffè mattina incluso nel valore della prenotazione, con succhi, caffè, cioccolato caldo, torta, pane e noccioline. Ben situato. Ogni giorno ha eventi notturni, un ambiente amichevole per chi viaggia da solo.

Del posto si salva solo la posizione, in pieno centro a Lisbona, tutto il resto è pessimo. L'ostello è economico (almeno prenotando in anticipo), ma è carente sotto tutti i punti di vista. In un posto economico, mi aspetto pochi servizi e di livello basilare, ma quel poco che c'è deve essere funzionante e dignitoso. Gli spazi comuni sono trasandati e sporchi. Il bagno del bar/reception non penso venga mai pulito... In 4 giorni non hanno mai neanche riempito il sapone, segno che anche i baristi non si lavano le mani. Si vuole salire al quinto piano? Meglio prendere le scale. L'ascensore il 90% delle volte non funziona, e quando funziona si rischia la vita o l'amputazione di un dito. La revisione dell'ascensore è anche scaduta da oltre 2 anni. La stanza è grande, ma puzza di muffa e stantio. Probabilmente perché la doccia (posticcia) si trova direttamente nella stanza da letto e non in bagno. Doccia che peraltro funziona maluccio. Il tappetino del bagno è in realtà un tappetino da porta d'ingresso, probabilmente mai lavato negli ultimi 10 anni. Stanza poco pulita. Premetto che la seguente storia non influisce sul giudizio di 1 stella, ma va raccontata. Per un disguido tra booking e l'ostello, nonostante io mi sia mosso per tempo, la mia prenotazione è stata cancellata. Il gestore dell'ostello ha ignorato le mie email e per telefono (numerosissime telefonate!) è sempre risultato evasivo o mi ha semplicemente ignorato. Probabilmente ha sperato di affittare la mia camera (prenotata mesi prima ad un prezzo vantaggioso) ad altri a prezzo pieno. Solo a ridosso del mio arrivo, penso non ricevendo altre prenotazioni, mi ha infine dato la conferma.

Non è facile prenotare con un gruppo di 18 persone. Tuttavia. Miguel e la sua squadra all' Green Heart Hostel ci hanno fatto tutto il possibile per avere un soggiorno sorprendente. Eravamo in contatto per mesi cambiando le date, organizzando le camere e altro ancora. L'albero è stato sempre tranquillo, amichevole e utile. Il soggiorno stesso era senza alcuna disturbo. Le camere erano pulite, le bagni e le docce, così come. Un grande plus è certamente la posizione dell'albero. È situato in una posizione molto tranquilla ma a piedi dal centro città. Possiamo solo raccomandare questo ostello per il vostro soggiorno a Lisbona!!

Ottima posizione, comodissima per girare sia a piedi che con i mezzi. Struttura bella, magari un cartello in più fuori non guasterebbe perché ho fatto 3 volte avanti e indietro senza accorgermi della scritta sul vetro. Staff gentile. Camere piccole ma poco importa se si vuole visitare la città e utilizzarlo solo per riposare. Ci vorrebbero alcuni accorgimenti in più; vista la modernità del posto uno si aspetterebbe magari qualche gancio ai letti e non solo quattro appendini in tutto, un poggia sapone nella doccia, magari un dispenser di sapone ad uso comune al posto di una saponetta..il mio letto non era molto comodo ma con la stanchezza della sera ho dormito ugualmente come un ghiro. La colazione decisamente costosa per quello che offre; 7,50€ sono molti considerando che ho pranzato in giro con 12€ e cenato con 15€. Non vengono organizzati eventi, serate, tour, e mi è dispiaciuto perché viaggiando sola avrei gradito passare del tempo in compagnia. Tutto sommato ho soggiornato piacevolmente ma non ci tornerei ecco!

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

What a wonderful, but entirely individual, experience. The set up is one side is a hostel (quite a nice one), where reception, casual tapas restaurant and breakfast are served. The other side is the suites, with a rooftop bar and smart restaurant. The character is faded elegance, shabby chic - entirely purposely and is so authentic. The vibe is superb service from a young, friendly and efficient staff. If you want a suited and booted experience, go elsewhere and probably get worse service. The rooms are of average size, although mine, in comparison with my friends’ had a HUGE bathroom. High ceiling make the rooms feel airy. Proper antique shutters make for a proper blackout experience. The rooms do have areas with peeling paint and could be described as rustic for some - but they are clean and charming and we were delighted. If you want a quiet venue - do not come here - it is noisy, it is in a central location with bars and restaurants around. That said, it is perfectly located to get everywhere in Lisbon. The breakfast which you attend with the hostel residents (who were all lovely) was super, with a good selection - would have liked a little prepared fresh fruit - you can order specialist coffees and hot food as included in the suites rate (these extras have to be paid for by the hostel residents). The same area, with its terrace, houses a tapas restaurant which we visited on the first night. Superb food and service. The rooftop bar is a real treat. AMAZING views with excellent vibe and service. The restaurant beside it we did not visit as did not appeal, but no reason to suspect it wasn’t anything other than fab - as v busy! Lastly, the young chaps on the reception desk were soooo helpful and friendly - perfect English and the wonderful lady in charge of breakfast has to have a mention - what a character and such a super person to have there for the younger travellers. Looking at the reviews, some people just don’t “get it” - it is a different experience from a modern, chain hotel - but we found it wonderful. We heard they are going to be opening other places, but judging by the descriptions, they will be different to this - we would love for them to open things JUST LIKE THIS in other European cities - it is a one off currently and we would like to see more.

Posto piacevole, molto bello. Ottima esperienza, tutto era vicino. Il materiale ha fornito un servizio eccellente. Molto accogliente e disponibile con tutto ciò che hai chiesto. Sicuramente vorrei tornare indietro o raccomandare ai miei amici. Grazie a tutti!

Lo mejor es la ubicación y el tamaño de la habitación que era muy grande. La habitación no. 1 está en planta baja y se encuentra al lado de la recepción. Cada vez que alguien allí mueve una silla, camina o habla, retumba mucho en la habitación. Si tienes sueño liviano, esto es bastante molesto. También retumba bastante cuando caminan en la habitación de arriba. Como es un hostel, no esperaba servicio de limpieza en la habitación. Sin embargo, había un cartel para colgar de la puerta y pedir que hicieran la habitación. El primer día lo pusimos, pero solo hicieron la cama. No limpiaron el baño ni cambiaron una de las toallas (la habíamos dejado en el piso, como se suele hacer para pedir el recambio). Además, me encontré con mi pijama arriba de mi valija (yo lo había dejado sobre la almohada). En cuanto al baño, no nos dieron jabón ni para lavarnos las manos ni para bañarnos. Tuvimos que usar uno nuestro. Las dos veces que pedimos reposición, nos dijeron que no tenían. La segunda vez que colgué el cartel, sí hicieron la habitación de manera completa. Lo mejor de la habitación son los postigos de las ventanas que frenan muy bien la luz. El desayuno se paga aparte y es muy barato (2 euros). Esto se ve reflejado, pero por ese precio está muy bien. Hay café, algunos tipos de té, cereales, fiambre, leche y pan. Creo que podés pedir huevos también. Lo que sí debo mencionar es que la leche está sin refrigerar sobre una mesa.
