Hotel in zona Seventh-day Adventist Church - Lima, Lima

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.

My experience with Sonesta Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet place in San Isidro. Every morning I went for a walk at el El Olivar Park at enjoy the nature and peaceful and very safe atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had my favorite dishes from the Peruvian cuisine. My room was always kept clean and comfy. They have a cozy bar and restaurant and the personal was always helpful and kind. I am planing to go back to this hotel in November. I completely recommend this place for tourists, families and business trips.

Reservé 2 habitaciones standard para año nuevo 2024, una con cama matrimonial para mi hijo y para mí, y la otra con 2 camas. Y al momento de la reserva especifiqué que necesitaba que estén una al lado de la otra, o exactamente al frente. Cuando hice check in, fuimos a las habitaciones y la mía era cama doble y encima no estaban al frente, felizmente la señora de recepción pudo solucionar pero estuvimos bastante rato esperando. Luego, a las 5y30pm aprox llamo a Room Service para pedir la cena de mi hijo, me contesta un chico y me toma el pedido. Pasa 1 HORA, llamo para saber cuánto más iba a demorar y un señor de restaurante de muy mala manera me dice que no tiene ningún pedido y que no era su problema porque él acababa de entrar a turno. Me pareció una pésima atención y pésima forma de resolver un problema. Obviamente tuve que volver a hacer el pedido y esperar más, pero dejó mucho que desear la respuesta de su personal del restaurante e hizo que me amargue el momento. Finalmente, en recepción a la hora del check in preguntamos si Room Service atendería normal hasta las 11pm, nos dijo que sí. Cuando nos fueron a dejar la comida de mi hijo, volví a preguntar al mozo y me dijo que ya no tomaban pedidos porque estaban con la cena buffet. Entonces nos iban a dejar sin cena a mi familia y a mí, ya que al estar con un niño pequeño él ya iba a dormir y yo no iba a poder salir al restaurante. Después de insistir, accedió a tomarnos el pedido pero tenía que ser en ese momento (siendo 7pm, comida llegó 7y20) y lamentablemente tuve que cenar comida fría ya que recién pude hacerlo después de dormir a mi hijo a las 8y30pm aprox. Realmente no volvería al hotel por tener tantas malas experiencias en 1 solo día de estadía.

L'hotel era meraviglioso, molto accogliente per le mie esigenze e Roberto era molto attento alla ricezione. L'hotel è molto pulito e le camere sono di buona dimensione e vicino alle attrazioni vicine. Io consiglio agli amici e alla famiglia.

Tutto è stato molto bene, buon servizio e attenzione, la stanza molto pulita. La cosa migliore è stato la colazione, molto ricco . L'unico problema è che le carte delle camere sono sempre sbagliate, mi resta una settimana e ogni giorno ho dovuto chiedermi di cambiare la carta perche' non funzionava più.

L'hotel non è 7 stelle, ma è la gente che lavora lì che lo rende un posto così bello. Non aveva una cattiva esperienza qui, mia moglie e io sono accaduto a Perù per un funerale e ho avuto un problema di salute a causa dello stress emotivo. Santiago, che era in ricezione, era pronto a chiamare l'ambulanza e potevano riparare la situazione. Anche quando venne a visitare amici e familiari, ho amiciato il curatore Carlos Abanto, un bravo ragazzo, merita tutti i complimenti, super professionista. Per la gente come loro, ho intenzione di tornare. Zarai Chilino (guardiana) era anche bello e Jose il tipo che mi puliva la stanza. Con questo personale e posizione vi assicuro un sacco di ritorno di affari e molti anni di buoni da venire. Grazie, Dazzel a San Isidro!

Questa non è un'esperienza di 5 stelle. Claramente le camere hanno bisogno di una certa modernizzazione. Ci sono ad esempio solo fan e nessun coni di controllo della temperatura. La nostra camera da letto aveva solo una tavola accanto a letto. Quando cambiammo le camere le cose non funzionavano e dovevamo ripararle. Tuttavia il personale era molto utile. Il letto era comodo e c'era un buon guardaroba e doccia. Abbiamo avuto accesso allo salone, che era molto più piccolo di quello che ci abituiamo e serviva una selezione molto limitata di cibo e bevande, ma Oscar era un grande ospite e ha fatto tutto il possibile per migliorare la nostra esperienza. Abbiamo andato in palestra, ma molti di loro erano difettosi, ma una palestra dei tre aveva una rampa inoperativa, e tutti i treni incrociati non funzionavano correttamente. Abbiamo anche mangiato nel ristorante una mezza, ma di nuovo amichevole personale, e grazie anche a Clara, che ha capito che la nostra esperienza non era stata grande.

L'hotel ci ha offerto una navetta che ci ha portati dall'aeroporto all'hotel. Il prezzo era solo 30 soli (meno di $10 USD). La stanza era spaziale e aveva gli elementi essenziali di cui abbiamo bisogno in un hotel. Mi sono svegliato alle 6 di mattina, ascoltando un grilletto. Sarò onesta, l'hotel è a Callao, che non è la zona più bella di Lima. La mattina che abbiamo controllato, volevamo andare alla Plaza de Armas de Lima. Il nostro ambasciatore di front office dell'hotel era così gentile - si aspettava fuori dall'hotel con noi per assicurarsi che fossimo protetti e controllava costantemente il mio telefono per assicurarsi che entrassimo nella giusta Uber. Purtroppo non parlo spagnolo, ma ho capito i suoi gesti quando diceva che il mio telefono poteva essere preso. Vorrei avere il suo nome. Quando siamo tornati all'hotel per andare all'aeroporto, il nostro manager ha tenuto il nostro bagaglio in una stanza chiusa e ancora una volta è rimasto con noi fuori per il nostro Uber all'aeroporto. Per un hotel a prezzi accessibili vicino all'aeroporto, l'Hotel Padama è certamente una grande scelta per noi.
