We really enjoyed our stay. Bastien is a great host - couldn’t have been more helpful. Room one 1 was perfect with a large comfortable sitting room. Delicious breakfasts and well located near the centre. Good restaurants nearby and close to shopping streets.

This was a perfect hotel experience as if the owner read your mind and anticipated all of your needs and desires. In every respect, the beautiful house (thanks to the owner) is in good taste, welcoming, quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It is a tiny bit removed from the Centre Ville, a good thing, a stone’s throw away from the Beaux Arts Musee and a delicious restaurant across the street from the house. It’s elegant and just lovely.

We stayed at this gorgeous hotel for two nights. We stayed in the suite which was massive. A living room, dressing room, bedroom and shower room. Although this hotel is very small, Bastien has thought of every detail to make it feel luxurious. The decor is beautiful and in keeping with the style of the building, the bed and couches are comfortable, and it is spotlessly clean (I dropped something and had to go under the bed to retrieve it - so clean!). Bastien does everything to make your stay special. We had breakfast served to our room at the time of our choosing and it was a lovely breakfast. The spa was also a lovely treat. I can’t imagine you can find a nicer place to stay in Lille.

Belle maison, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur. Très chouette déco, cosy. Les chambres sont confortables et plaisantes. L'accueil est cordial et franchement aimable. L'hôte vous donnera toutes les indications utiles pour rendre votre séjour à Lille le plus plaisant possible. Bon petit déjeuner, bref, à recommander

La Maison du Champlain In april een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij La maison de Champlain. Daarom in april 2024 ook een reservering gemaakt voor de braderie september 2025 (2024 reeds vol). Echter kregen we zonder nadere uitleg in oktober 2024 een annulering van onze reservering! Navraag bij de eigenaar leerde ons dat de gasten die voor de braderie van 2024 hadden geboekt voorrang krijgen ondanks een latere boeking voor de braderie van 2025.

C’est une belle et confortable maison d’hôtes idéalement située dans le centre-ville. Nous avons occupé la suite au 2eme étage. Elle est très agréable, au calme (Lille est quand même une ville assez animée le soir), très joliment décorée avec son beau salon privatif. On se sent privilégié. D’autant que Bastien, le bienveillant maître des lieux, a vraiment à cœur notre bien-être (la première nuit, j’avais trouvé le matelas et les oreillers un peu trop fermes à mon goût. Il n’a pas hésité à refaire le lit pour rajouter un sur-matelas et acheter de nouveaux oreillers moelleux, pour que la deuxième nuit soit parfaite). Bien entendu, les petits déjeuners sont excellents et donnent l’occasion à de sympathiques moments de partage et de conseils de visite. Enfin, il y a aussi un espace spa : sauna,hamam et jacuzzi, tout à fait magnifique. Idéal se détendre après une grande journée de balade lilloise. Vraiment une belle adresse !

In april een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Bastien/ La maison de Champlain. Daarom direct alvast een reservering gemaakt voor september 2025 (2024 reeds vol) Echter kregen we zonder nadere uitleg in oktober 2024 een annulering van onze reservering van september 2025. Bij navraag bleek Bastien ziek te zijn geweest tijdens de braderie van september 2024. De gasten die voor de braderie van 2024 hadden geboekt heeft hij de kamers gegeven voor de braderie van 2025. De gasten die reeds eerder een reservering voor de braderie van 2025 hebben gemaakt mogen dus op zoek naar een ander verblijf. Ga er dus niet vanuit dat als je een reservering hebt gemaakt deze ook wordt nagekomen!

Magnifique Maison d’hôtes à Lille ! Propreté Irréprochable… Petit déjeuner copieux et très bon Que dire de ce moment de détente dans le spa/jacuzzi/Hammond dans un lieu d’évasion Propriétaire chaleureux et aux petits soins pour ces hôtes Idéalement situé pour la visite du centre ville de Lille avec un parking à proximité Nous y reviendrons sans hésitation lors de nos passages sur Lille Allez y sans faute, nous avons passé un agréable séjour

Superbe maison d'hôtes à Lille ! Très bien située. Propreté irréprochable. Chambres spacieuses (nous avions les 2 chambres à l'étage). La suite est vraiment très grande. Beaucoup de charme. Très bon petit déjeuner. Accueil très chaleureux de Bastien qui est de très bon conseil pour les visites. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! Nous y reviendrons lors de notre prochain séjour à Lille.
