Hotel vicini a Carrousel a Le Touquet

First the good news. Brand new hotel so everything is clean and fresh. Liked the fact that it was 30 mins walk/10 mins bike into town - it was quiet and peaceful. The pool was very nice as was the outdoor spa area. Rooms are on the small size (ask for one with a larger balcony - ours was tiny) but perfectly fine. The Cabana area was great - live music, food was good (pizzas, meat and cheese boards, snacks) and service from the charming Juliette especially was kind and smiling. Reception staff need better training - they aren’t particularly friendly and when we checked out no one even asked if we’d enjoyed our stay! I was also given the iron and ironing board if asked for whilst standing in reception so I had to carry it to the room myself rather than having it delivered - which was odd. But by far the biggest issue we had was the restaurant. It clearly sees itself as fine dining and had a price point to match. This is not matched by the quality. We paid €175 with wine for two, for which we’d expect something pretty good. Our ‘ceviche’ was nothing of the sort. Raw fish yes but should be bursting with citrus flavour. Remarkably it didn’t taste of anything at all. We added a ton of salt, pepper and lemon juice to try and kick it into life but it was pointless. The ‘chimichurri’ on top again was an insult to Latin America. It was basically a dry ratatouille with courgettes and red peppers - neither of which you’d EVER see in a chimichurri. It was horrible. The main course was tuna tataki which traditionally is laden with flavours of ginger and soy. It will come as no surprise that it featured neither, instead being overcooked tuna slicked with a weird orange sauce and some small random veg scattered around it. There was also a glob of what tasted like yellow bean hummus on the plate - just weird. Trying way too hard to be clever - if you can’t cook tataki, chimichurri or ceviche - which you can’t - then stick to what you know. We are out every other night which we wouldn’t have if the restaurant had been any good. It’s terrible. The best part was the bread basket. When we gave our critique at the time, the waitress didn’t particularly seem to care and same for when we checked out when we mentioned this disaster again. Save yourself the financial pain and the disappoin**ent of this kitchen’s inadequacy and if you stay in go for the less fancy, but much better, food on the terrace at the Cabana. And experience great service if people like Juliette who genuinely seem to care.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans une chambre privilège. L’hôtel est juste parfait. La décoration est soignée, le personnel sympathique, la chambre magnifique avec balcon et lit King size, chaussons et peignoirs inclus. Elle était spacieuse, confortable et très jolie avec vue sur la forêt. L’endroit est au calme. Le grand espace extérieur à l’arrière est très agréable au soleil ! Le petit dejeuner est extra, très grande variété de produits. Le spa est exceptionnel. Il n’y avait quasiment personne. J’ai adoré cet espace balnéo et de l’autre côté, l’espace nage. Sauna nickel. Le parking était compris dans le prix de la chambre. Nous sommes allées à pied plusieurs fois en ville. Très belle marche le long des magnifiques maisons. Je recommande !

Grande per un paio di notti di soggiorno. Centrale a tutto la spiaggia e la città. Prenotamo una camera superiore che era moderna e pulita ma un po' piccola. Il bagno era funzionale e pulito ma ancora una volta molto piccolo. Il personale, dalle pulizie alle ricette, è molto amichevole e utile.

L'hotel è un grande vecchio hotel, ma su scala umana - l'hotel è stato bellissimo riparato e non sembra essere stato risparmiato alcun costo. Abbiamo avuto una camera superiore, che credo sia la categoria di fondo della camera, ma non è stato deluso - estremamente ben attrezzata e molto comoda. Le camere pubbliche erano molto comode, il personale utile e molto professionale - niente era troppo difficile. Se vai a Le Touquet, distruggiti e resta qui - vale la pena.

Trovo un peccato avere 1 parcheggio danneggiato da tutto il mondo.il bagno fissurato. E le orecchie bianche troppo morbide.Trovo super avere 1 bollitore e tè. 1 buon mattoni .e 1 bella camera Personale amichevole e ascoltare i clienti .la cibo molto buono

Abbiamo soggiornato qui come famiglia di tre adulti, la nostra notte scorsa, che tornano al Regno Unito. La nostra prima visita a Le Touquet. Questo hotel è nuovo quest'anno e abbiamo trovato assolutamente fantastico. Tutto era nuovo! Ci sono stati molti parcheggi fuori. Abbiamo controllato la macchina, qualcosa che potrebbe essere confuso, ma abbiamo soggiornato in molti hotel B&B per anni, la nostra camera era tripla e abbastanza grande da poterci muovere. Il bagno era leggermente più grande del normale, era grande e aveva sempre una bella doccia molto apprezzata. Le tole erano più grandi di quanto fosse normale e fluffy. La nostra stanza aveva anche ciechi di nebbia sulle finestre. Quando ci avvicinavamo, i manager ci salutavano caldamente e ci rendevano molto benvenuti. Il mattino dopo, la mattina, abbiamo mangiato la strada, dove ci sono pochi ristoranti a piedi (ad esempio Buffalo Grill, McDonalds e una Patisserie). Il cibo era fresco e i croissants erano davvero deliziosi. Ci erano anche frutta disponibile, così come il solito B&B colazione. La sala colazione era leggera e aria e ben arredata. Abbiamo notato che nel parcheggio e nell'hotel c'era un sacco di Gendarme. Chiunque ci incontravamo tutti parlava con noi e sempre erano gentili. Per noi erano solo altri ospiti che si sono accadeti a indossare un uniforme. Chi non si sentirà al sicuro dormire in un hotel pieno di poliziotti. Sono tanti di sicurezza qui! Anche i nostri ospiti ci hanno ringraziato quando siamo partiti. Vorremmo tornare e probabilmente lo faremo!

Conveniently situated a couple of km from the A16 this hotel had everything needed for an overnight stay and only 50min from the Eurotunnel. A great nights sleep and an amazing breakfast set us on our way the following morning. Can’t recommend enough. The evening before we even had time to check out the amazing beaches at Berke.
