Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Le Havre

We ordered our family room more than 6 month in advance, asking to get an high floor. A month before our arival I had called the hotel and was confirmed tha for this long stay we would recive an high floor. On our arrival we have recieved room #110 on the first floor. The hotel was reluctant to fulfill our wish. The room was preatty dirty. Its big terrave had not been cleaned for many month and during our stay. All its furnitures were full with old bird droppings. There was a drainage problem at the sink. The rooms aircondition system hardly works. There were no glasses for toothbrushs at the bath. The room is not being arranged if you dont ask it. The breakfast is mediocre. Excellent pastries and bread, narrow variety of other food, awful coffee from the machine. On the positive side I would like to mention good wi fi and a lot of free parking along the promenade

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché la catena Mercure offre sempre un buon comfort. Stanze ampie, pulite, insonorizzate. Un’ottima scelta. Non abbiamo fatto colazione perché non essendo particolarmente affamate al mattino, ci sembrava inutile spendere a testa 17 euro.

Francamente, il servizio, la posizione, è sorprendente. Un'ottima vista dal balcone e io lo darei sicuramente 5/5! Tutti i negozi sono davvero vicini.

LOCATION: Looking out over the water of Le Havre's Bassin, Hotel Pasino is well placed for exploring city on foot. Many of the historic sights of Le Havre plus engaging displays of street art are at almost every turn only minutes away across the footbridge opposite. St Joseph's monumental modern stained glass church tower is just down the street along with the Volcan, known locally as the ＜ pot de yaourt ＞ (yoghurt pot) theatre complex. A bit further away is the beach which although more pebbles than sand looked glorious as the late afternoon sun hovered low in the sky on Bastille Day. VIEW: I booked a Superior Privilege room looking out over Le Havre's Bassin and it was money well-spent for the view that was both interesting and relaxing. At night, the bridge over the Bassin was illuminated, with the sunflower yellow and turquoise of Ukraine's flag alternating on Bastille Day with France's tricolore of blue, white and red. The effects looked magnificent reflected in the water. ROOM: A vestibule along which was a luggage rack and plenty of wardrobe space led to the well-appointed room with subtly luxurious finshes. Big bathroom, good shower, vanity with plenty of room for toiletries and a completely separate loo. SERVICE: Welcoming and helpful throughout. BREAKFAST: Julie, a quietly engaging, ever-smiling young woman who oversaw the beautifully-presented buffet most mornings made not only my day, but my stay, as she helped me with my fractured French (and I reciprocated by adding to her English).

L'hôtel est situé à deux pas de la gare, et on est à 10 minutes de l'hôtel de Ville, et 20 min de la plage à pied, ou bien 4 stations de tramway en 5 min. Moderne, beau design à l'entrée, très neuf puisque ouvert en août 2021. La chambre 403 est spacieuse, bien équipée d'une machine à café Malongo, thé, 2 bouteilles d'eau Evian, salle de bain toilettes douche avec plein de gel shampooing body lotion. Les fenêtres double vitrage éloignent les bruits de l'artère de circulation, chambre bien chauffée avec un système de chauffage ou climatisation. La télé est énorme et le Wi-Fi marche très bien très rapide, sans besoin d'inscription. Literie impeccable digne d'un 4* beaucoup d'oreillers, un beau fauteuil confortable, un coffre-fort, une penderie. Séjour très agréable à l'hôtel. Je n'ai pas pris le buffet petit déjeuner à 15€, mais la salle à manger était très belle, présentation agréable, choix de viennoiseries, dès 6h30 du matin. L'hôtel a une salle de sport fitness, un grand salon cosy où on peut boire des drinks, ambiance très calme. Je recommende vivement pour les installations très neuves à un prix vraiment imbattable.

Apart from the lack of parking (we ended up some 200 mtrs around the corner on the street in metered parking) this hotel is a great place to stay. It is new, clean, well provisioned, with helpful staff. The tram is on the next corner and the bus stop is outside the door so public transport is easy.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo BB solamente una notte visto che eravamo solo di passaggio. Nel complesso tutto bene, camera non molto grande ma pulita, colazione nella media. Ottima posizione proprio davanti alla stazione, parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento nelle vicinanze. Mi sento solo di suggerire di eliminare la moquette dall' ascensore e dalle scale visto che emanano cattivo odore. Non ci sono molti locali nelle vicinanze dove poter mangiare solo tantissimi ristoranti etnici, abbiamo dovuto camminare un pochetto per trovare un locale di nostro gusto.....

10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, ma c'è una stazione del tram non lontano, dove sei a 6 fermate dalla spiaggia. Hotel moderno, dove la TV è grande, le docce all'italiana sono molto grandi, l'arredamento di design. La colazione offre salato e dolce, i croissant o i vari tipi di pane sono freschissimi. Mi piace quando la stanza è dotata di bollitore e puoi prepararti un caffè o un tè. Ottimo isolamento acustico e termico, la mia camera che dava sul cortile interno era estremamente silenziosa. Accoglienza molto piacevole, personale molto simpatico. Puoi anche depositare i tuoi bagagli lì. Non lontano dal popolare quartiere di Le Havre, l'università, i negozi, la piscina comunale art déco. 20 min a piedi dal centro commerciale Docks, 5 min dal cinema Syrius. In breve, lo consiglio vivamente perché il rapporto qualità-prezzo è il migliore di Le Havre!

Kyriad (Le Birgit) – Leger Holidays This hotel should not be operating! It was dreadful! Leger Holidays booked this Kyriad hotel for our tour group. The rooms were extremely basic, part chipboard furnishings and views were either a large building site, with a railway track one side or a very busy and noisy square with a 24-hour McDonalds. Two of our group found a cockroach on their bed! Other rooms our party had were dirty. The towels were old and paper thin. The so-called bar was virtually not existent Restaurant: there were not enough chairs or tables for everyone to sit down and the bar only open 7pm-9pm Breakfast – continental only – not great. The Kyriad Le Havre hotel advertised it had tea and coffee facilities in the room with a kettle and milk. - There was nothing in any of the rooms! It also stated it had hairdryers – but some did not. Upon complaining we were told that they Not Kyriad anymore”! Kyriad sold the hotel a month ago – the new hotel being Le Birgit! Le Birgit was being refurbished and resembled a building site - there were even wires coming down from the ceiling by the one lift as well as more building materials by the reception and at one end of the restaurant. Surely, this hotel must have more than one or two health and safety issues. The lift had seen better days and it was ‘hit or miss’ if the button for the ground floor worked, Leger Holidays should have done better and thoroughly checked out this hotel beforehand!.
