Hotels con Colazione a Las Palmas

This was a one night stay before picking up the cruise ship Azamara Onward. To get to check-in, you have to go up one storey from ground level by climbing a fancy set of entrance steps. There is a 1970s ”baggage lift” to the rhs, and if you have a disability you can use that, but it has no sides, and moves at a snails pace whilst your finger has to stay on the button. This lack in investment speaks volumes about this hotel. I was given a superior room due to loyalty scheme status, but it was nothing special. The air con was noisy, and the room lacked charging points. The mattress wasn't that great, and the bedding was musty. Dinner in the 23rd floor restaurant was a farce. The restaurant was fairly full with cruise guests on a dinner package that included a buffet and drinks. Rather than allowing us to pay for the same buffet, we were forced to choose from a very limited overpriced restaurant menu. The food was disgusting. The extremely processed food ”burger” was still raw in the middle; the hake was aslso still raw in the middle and both had to be sent back to the kitchen. They couldn't even cook the chips. My travel companion said that breakfast in the morning was even more of a disaster - not enough seats for the guests, nor enough food out. Would I stay here again? Well, I used Marriott points, so it was free. If I was paying for it, I'd want my money back.....

Fading. Could be 5 stars but is only 3.5. The staff are nice but the main reason we used to stay here was the pool. However that now does not open until 12..or later some days and it closes at 7pm. Therefore on arrival it was closed and on check out day you cannot use it at all. The bar has no draught beer...just a few bottles and closes at 4 pm. Many people were trying to order during those times but nobody was there to take their orders. Sat and Sun there were 30 people plus on the roof until 8pm and wanted to spend their money but could not! Madness. Some days there was a life guard sitting by an empty pool and other days when the pool was busy..no lifeguard. The Aircon works but is noisy. The TV is an antique and most channels do not work. There was a heatwave but you get one free water each on day one but no more than that even if you pay for 7 or 14 nights. Wifi works but you have to login everyday. Hotel is in a great place but Las Palmas is noisy, dusty and a little fragrant at times! If the main company, Eurostars would look afresh here and spend some money on a refresh then this could be a 5 star. Until then we will stay elsewhere, most probably.

Fabulous hotel, cannot recommend it highly enough. Great location, just one block from santa Catalina park, over looking the port and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are stunning and very well appointed, lovely big showers, plenty of hanging space etc. The only slight improvement that could be made is the air conditioning, it's not the greatest and my particular room was particularly warm but reception did give me an extra card so I could leave the electricity on when I left the room and this helped a lot, it took about 24 hours but eventually the temperature came down sufficiently. The roof top bar has some stunning views and is a great place to relax with the drink, the bar staff are great, helpful and friendly an make a pretty good mojito too. The roof top solarium on the other side of the roof could do with a little improvement in terms of furniture but the view is still great and the little pool is a great place to cool your feet after a busy day sight seeing. Breakfast is of very good quality, small selection of hot items but lots of fruit, pastries, cereals, juices etc etc, again the staff here are all friendly and helpful, as they are on reception too. This is a city center hotel and there is no view from many of the windows, mine overlooked a neighbouring apartment block (only a few feet away across a slim courtyard) some look out into an internal courtyard, but the staff, the location and the size and quality of the rooms definitely make up for this and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great base to explore this beautiful island.

Il servizio clienti eccezionale al check in Maria era consapevole, molto positivo e ci ha dato un vero piacere di benvenuto. Le camere sono più vecchie, soprattutto il bagno, ma tutto funzionava bene. Abbiamo una stanza aggiornata sul 8fl con vista sugli oceani.La colazione è buona e soprattutto le uova su richiesta. L'hotel è aperto come piscina al tetto e palestra da 11am-7pm Quando arrivo all'aeroporto di Gran Canaria suggerisco di prendere il trasferimento di autobus 4.70 eur che era per 2 vi porta alla stazione principale di autobus di San Telmo e a piedi per l'hotel.

Modern hotel set on a side street just 100m from the excellent beach & promenade. We stated 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The room was large with very nice bathroom and included tea/coffee facilities, air con and safe. The double bed was two large singles together which is now unfortunately more common throughout Europe but we loved the crisp white cotton sheets and the two different types of pillow. Our room was on the 5th floor to the front over looking the street but we had minimal noise. The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas and we had fresh towels each day. There was a sun terrace on the top floor with modern sun loungers available. Breakfast was sufficient with an acceptable level of choice but I would have liked the three hot choices to be cooked more often as they can sit in a hot tray for a prolonged period. All of the staff were excellent in manner and efficiency. The new shopping centre at the end of the promenade is within walking distance and there is a second shopping centre available 1000m at the opposite end of the hotel street from the beach where the cruise liners dock. This a great value hotel in an outstanding location with fantastic access to the promenade (flat location) and beach, highly recommended for a winter break, we shall return.

Sono felice di stare con Secrotel Hotel Praque. La prenoto dopo aver controllato le recensioni di altri viaggiatori. Sì, il prezzo è buono e alla sua posizione, è vicino al centro commerciale, ristoranti e supermercati. Il personale è utile. Il buffet è buono.Il ristorante del colazione è al massimo livello di questo hotel, possiamo godere di una splendida vista sugli oceani e la luce solare mentre abbiamo colazione. E 'bonus. Tuttavia, una cosa minore che mi piace condividere è durante la mattina occupata, soprattutto quando il ristorante è pieno di casa, sempre corre fuori da tazze di caffè, bicchieri di succo e bolle di cereali. Non posso aspettare per molto tempo per queste 3 volte dal mio 5 giorni di colazione. Forse l'hotel può mettere un segnale per suggerire agli ospiti di essere ecologicamente inclini a riutilizzare il vetro, la tazza e la bolla quando riempire. Come ho visto alcuni hanno 5-6 tazze e il vetro sulla tavola. Il letto è comodo, la stanza è pulita con le cose di base che hai bisogno. Sì, nessuna caldaia elettrica, nessun pannolini come standard hotel 3 stelle. Quindi, non ho lamentela. Non c'è più rumore da costruzioni, perché questo è il mio problema dopo aver letto le osservazioni di altri viaggiatori nel passato. Quindi penso che tutto sia fatto. Hotel si trova vicino al taxi, stazione di autobus, ma non vicino alla spiaggia. Non mi è problema per questo viaggio in inverno. Sono molto felice per tutti, e lo consiglio a tutti.

Albergo decente, tuttavia, ci sono alcune cose che devono essere cambiate perché non è sicuramente una 4 stelle. La piscina non è pulita e deve essere mantenuta correttamente, poiché gli uccelli lo usano per il bagno e il tetto deve essere lavato correttamente, perché ci sono uccelli dove si deve camminare. Il condizionamento dell’aria nella nostra stanza non funzionava bene e solo ha fatto saltare l’aria già calda nella stanza. Il minibar frigo non funziona bene, niente è caldo. Il cassaforte non funzionava così non potevamo mettere alcun valore in esso. Non ci è stato spiegato all'arrivo che le foglie e gli asciugamani saranno cambiati solo su richiesta, questo deve essere spiegato agli ospiti all'arrivo se questo è il caso. Puoi sentire conversazioni da una parte del corridoio all'altra e le porte chiuse al mattino sono molto alte, non molto buone per dormire all'inizio del periodo di colazione a 7AM! Il rumore è anche un problema se avete persone sopra di voi, il costante spostamento dei mobili dal piano sopra era molto irritante. In generale abbiamo avuto un soggiorno decente all'hotel, ma queste questioni dovrebbero essere corrette per dire che questo è un hotel 4 stelle è fuorviante.

Hotel elegante e molto bello, personale accogliente,cordiale e gentile, camera bellissima, elegante con tutti i comfort pulizia ottima,colazione abbondante,di vasta scelta e buona, posizione centrale a tutti i servizi e fermata autobus.
