"Kind of older TV device and TV channels.
Extra bed may not fitting into your room, for my situation，the bed only fits perfectly after I let the staff take off the bed frame/ bedstead and only put the mattress between the area of bed and the window(it's the biggest and the only space for fitting the bed inside the room).
Toilet paper were thinner and softer than normal toilet paper that we can buy at general shop, supermarket or store.
For the room I stay this time, the water flow of sink is slower and seems have some blockage inside the pipeline which make the water flow that drain away become slower than usual.
Maybe harder to find a car park when it's at the peak period of day or time."

"Il posto era bello, solo che al check out giorno era piuttosto rumoroso fuori, perché c'è un tiro 🤣 ma diverso da quello, tutto bene. Devi pagare per il parcheggio se vai nei giorni di settimana, puoi installare l'app Park@Perak per pagare."

"Parcheggio esclusivo a 6 piani.Colazione a 7 piani. Camera splendida e spaziosa. Bella vista sul lago. Neat Lake Garden. Dal pavimento può accedere lentamente. Alimento facile da ottenere come ci sono stall yong Tau foo vicino al personale di Balai Bomba Taiping amichevole. Piscina grande per bambini e adulti. Ci è un giardino a 7 piani vicino alla zona del colazione"

"Location just nice to me as we can walking to Taiping lake in the morning and having our morning tea time at 988 hawker which quite suit for my dad taste. In between, we can walk to the hawker center which near Taiping Mall to have You Zha Kui and Tau Fu Hua. We go Spritzer ecopark within 15min from the hotel. Just nice for me and my families to relax in the hectic life. We had been in Taiping as families for 3 times at the same hotel . Will back here for more trips."

"L'hotel offre camere pulite e spaziose con buon servizio dal personale del desk front. La sua posizione strategica è un grande plus, poiché è vicino a molte grandi opzioni di cena. UUtente ospiteCleanliness: Lobby: Dull and unkempt. Lobby toilet: Disgraceful. Dingy and wet floors. Surau: Pathetic. Smelly telekung and sejadah. Baroness: Fair. Swimming Pool: Dirty. Not been cleaned. Shower taps missing and not working.
Location: Excellent. Mins walk to Taman Tasik Taiping. 10-15mins walk to Bkt Larut trailhead. Less than 10mins drive to eateries.
Service: Front Desk: Lack of interpersonal skills. No greetings. No warmth to acknowledge or courtesy to offer guests with a smile, no gestures to offer guests to have a seat while they’re attending to another guests or preparing their check ins/check outs.
House Maintenance: ABSOLUTELY RUDE. He was called to unplugged the faulty bathtub plug.
Housekeeping nor hotel did not inform me that the bathtub can’t be used as a tub. *******!
Bell Boys: Useless. Didn’t offer any service at all.
Baroness Coffee House: Food spread is good but tasteless. They served poor low quality food. Frozen popiah, croissants,cucur badak and potato wedges. Stone cold pandan Cake straight from the fridge. Nasi Lemak Pandan didn’t smell pandan at all and used green food coloring instead. A huge pile of foods especially the Nasi Lemak was left uneaten due to the lack of quality. Food wastage is observed.
They really need to change the chef. Cik Liana 27.6.2025 portrayed professionally while listening to our constructive comments.
She wore gloves while serving, refilling and cleaning the tables. The other servers did not.
Amenities: Fair.
Overall the Grand Baron Hotel needs more uplifting. The entrance and facade is sad, dull and empty. Some greens and lightings would improve the look. The lobby is unwelcoming. I was told the GM Ms Yong hardly comes and obviously couldn’t care less about the well being of the hotel let alone the staffs.

KKu Adriani Ku AyobPrenoto questa stanza per la famiglia di mio fratello. La loro piace davvero. La stanza è molto spaziosa. Sono anche fornite tavola da pranzo per 4 nella stanza. e la stanza ha balcone. Questo hotel si trova vicino al mercato notturno e al centro commerciale. Molto conveniente! Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio, cercare il parcheggio del Basamento della Gateway e seguire il segnale. È solo costoso u RM9 per parcheggio overnight.

UUtente ospiteLe strutture erano grandi, le camere, il legno, i tovaglioli, ecc erano molto pulite e mi sono impressionato dalla qualità di tutto in generale sulla stanza.
Il servizio fornito dal signor Kor era anche responsivo, amichevole e utile. La posizione era buona con corti passi per la maggior parte dei luoghi di interesse in KS. Belle visione della vita nel fiume.
Non riuscivo a patrocinare il ristorante, perché era solo un breve viaggio. Forse il prossimo.
Tutto era grande. Forse non è adatto al momento per i meno mobili/anziani come gli Ascensori non sono ancora installati, ma tutto il resto è di prima vista. Non esitate a raccomandare questo hotel se si visita la zona.

It is an old hotel, so room is showing the usual wear and tear, stains on walls, birds droppings on balcony. Parking is roadside or basement (can be narrow for some cars).
Staff service is adequate. Room is large with dated furniture and bathroom.
Breakfast has limited offerings but tastes good enough.
Adequate for a sleep stop on your journey and good value for money. Taiping is always a chill pitstop.
