"Cleanliness: Lobby: Dull and unkempt. Lobby toilet: Disgraceful. Dingy and wet floors. Surau: Pathetic. Smelly telekung and sejadah. Baroness: Fair. Swimming Pool: Dirty. Not been cleaned. Shower taps missing and not working. Location: Excellent. Mins walk to Taman Tasik Taiping. 10-15mins walk to Bkt Larut trailhead. Less than 10mins drive to eateries. Service: Front Desk: Lack of interpersonal skills. No greetings. No warmth to acknowledge or courtesy to offer guests with a smile, no gestures to offer guests to have a seat while they’re attending to another guests or preparing their check ins/check outs. House Maintenance: ABSOLUTELY RUDE. He was called to unplugged the faulty bathtub plug. Housekeeping nor hotel did not inform me that the bathtub can’t be used as a tub. *******! Bell Boys: Useless. Didn’t offer any service at all. Baroness Coffee House: Food spread is good but tasteless. They served poor low quality food. Frozen popiah, croissants,cucur badak and potato wedges. Stone cold pandan Cake straight from the fridge. Nasi Lemak Pandan didn’t smell pandan at all and used green food coloring instead. A huge pile of foods especially the Nasi Lemak was left uneaten due to the lack of quality. Food wastage is observed. They really need to change the chef. Cik Liana 27.6.2025 portrayed professionally while listening to our constructive comments. She wore gloves while serving, refilling and cleaning the tables. The other servers did not. Amenities: Fair. Overall the Grand Baron Hotel needs more uplifting. The entrance and facade is sad, dull and empty. Some greens and lightings would improve the look. The lobby is unwelcoming. I was told the GM Ms Yong hardly comes and obviously couldn’t care less about the well being of the hotel let alone the staffs."

"Lo spazio di una piccola casa di legno è buono, è che la posizione dell'hotel è un po'difficile da trovare.Perché è una casa di legno, quindi può essere molto guasto quando piove.La velocità della rete WiFi è più veloce, guardando YouTube è molto guasto in TV, dando come 👍"

"Era una esperienza molto miscela, il piccolo contenitore era dolce e molto comodo con le tende chiuse, letto e le mutandine erano di buona qualità.  Il personale era carino e molto attento.  La piscina era occupata con i musulmani, quindi non mi sentivo comodo entrare con il mio corpo semi nudo. Il contenitore era vicino alla piscina, quindi si sentiva molto esposto soprattutto quando la piscina era occupata e chi vuole chiudere le loro tende nel mezzo della giornata?  Ho chiesto se potessi nuotare una volta che la piscina era vuota, ma questo era dopo le 8:00 e la piscina era chiusa. Questa politica deve essere rivista per i residenti delle camere laterali della piscina.  Mi sentivo un po' come un centro di ricreazione alal, quindi non mi rilassava quando mi aspettavo di appendermi alla piscina.  La zona sonora è bella e Taiping è bella.  Dirlo non mi fermerebbe di nuovo. Erano più positivi che negativi."

"The house is clean and good. From the details provided, there are air conditioner room. However, when we depart, the child play room is without air conditioner. This was a shock to us and we have to arrange 2 person to sleep in the living room. Perhaps the details of the house provided can mentioned this clearly, to avoid misunderstanding and make some earlier arrangements."

"Location just nice to me as we can walking to Taiping lake in the morning and having our morning tea time at 988 hawker which quite suit for my dad taste. In between, we can walk to the hawker center which near Taiping Mall to have You Zha Kui and Tau Fu Hua. We go Spritzer ecopark within 15min from the hotel. Just nice for me and my families to relax in the hectic life. We had been in Taiping as families for 3 times at the same hotel . Will back here for more trips."
