Hotel vicino a Museo South End, Port Elizabeth

A Pleasant Stay at Carslogie House, Port Elizabeth We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed by the gentleman on duty, who was friendly and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease after a long drive. Our room was spacious, clean, and overlooked the pool, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. All the facilities were excellent, and we appreciated being able to safely park our rental car inside the property. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with a good variety of options and a thoughtful vegetarian choice for me. The setting was calm and comfortable, perfect for starting the day. The only issue we experienced was during breakfast service, where the staff seemed more focused on the larger groups and overlooked us for quite some time. We eventually had to go to the kitchen to place our order. It wasn’t a major problem, but it did stand out given how excellent everything else was. Overall, we had a very good stay at Carslogie House. The accommodation, location, and overall hospitality were all great.

The transfer was really fast, indeed Stephen came within 5 minutes to pick us up, even though our flight was delayed. The rooms are warm and cosy. And the surrounding too with many plants and upcycling of used materials to good use. Stephen also gave us good advice and recommendations for our onward garden route journey.

Il servizio era eccezionale e l'addetto alla reception era molto gentile e disponibile. Ha reso la prenotazione molto semplice. È vicinissimo all'aeroporto, il che lo ha reso molto comodo. I due giorni sono volati così velocemente. Ci tornerò.

Tutto è molto buono. Bello hotel. Decente livello. Piscina riscaldata! Una vista stupefacente sull'oceano! Colazione molto diversa 5****** deve avere un vestito e pantaloni per visitare il bagno.È molto strano che non ci siano.

We have stayed here many time because it is a beautiful building in an excellent location. The general staff are outstanding and the food and rooms are amazing. Unfortunately the front desk is just not the same as the rest of the experience. When I wrote in to ask for an early check in I got no reply- on my arrival I asked about this and was told because I got no reply that means it’s fine. I find this odd as I explained that we were arriving after a three part flight over 18 hours. We have stayed here at least 3 other times and my comment for each time would be pretty much the same - I feel the front desk could do better to Mach their rest of the experience.

Comfortable and spacious room in a simple and no frills hotel. Nice touch with some welcome chocolates too. There is a restaurant on site too with a bar. Service was good, and checking in and out was very smooth, helped by friendly staff. The outdoor porch with a pool was a nice touch and had great views outside.

Ottimo personale, da Charles. (Spero di avere il nome corretto) presso Reservations, alla gente alla reception, alla custodia e alla squadra nella zona di pranzo/Colazione. Inoltre, il cibo era davvero buono e buono. Per favore non slip su nessuno di questi!!

Where to start... I had high expectations for Radisson Blu, but my stay was pretty disappointing. First off, check-in was delayed because the rooms weren’t ready, and even after waiting, they still weren’t properly cleaned. There was even an empty milk carton left on the desk, which didn’t inspire much confidence in their housekeeping. The room itself was pretty dull, aside from the great view. It also needed some serious maintenance—bits of wood were coming off, and the paint was peeling in places. The biggest issue was the water from the taps—it came out brown, which was a major red flag. Overall, for the price, I expected much better. I wouldn’t stay here again when there are likely better options out there.

Eravamo un gruppo per cui ho prenotato, la ricevitrice era molto utile il giorno della prenotazione, perché eravamo un po' precoci, ma ha fatto un piano per noi di almeno avere alcune delle camere prima. Erano sempre molto amichevoli, e le nostre camere erano sempre ben pulite quando siamo tornati alla fine del giorno. Il generatore è stato un grande aiuto, mentre la maggior parte del PE non aveva elettricità.
