UUtente ospiteThe hotel is in a nice location, perfect for a short relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the free lounge access, with a delicious dinner buffet and refreshing mocktails at the Sheraton Club.
The swimming pool offers both a normal pool and a kid zone, making it a great choice for families. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide buffet spread with Chinese, Malay, and Indian options, plus plenty of bread varieties to choose from.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with excellent facilities for both relaxation and anniversary time. 🌿🏊🍴

MMohamad Amir AminI recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru for a business trip, and it was a very pleasant experience overall. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to unwind after a long day of meetings. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room amenities were well maintained.
The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with easy access to key business areas, shopping malls, and nearby eateries in Johor Bahru. It made traveling around the city hassle-free during my stay.
What stood out the most was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend DoubleTree Johor Bahru for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

DDaniel Wee2Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza al St. Giles nella Mid Valley. Volevo provare qualcosa di diverso dai soliti hotel del centro città. Questo hotel è ideale per coloro che sono interessati allo shopping, ai ristoranti e alle attività ricreative, con un cinema convenientemente situato all'interno del centro commerciale. La mia intenzione era principalmente quella di cenare e rilassarmi. L'hotel è pulito e situato proprio all'interno del grande complesso commerciale, offrendo un concetto di soggiorno. Le camere sono leggermente più spaziose rispetto a quelle del centro città. Una differenza notevole è che non forniscono acqua in bottiglia gratuita per motivi ambientali. Tuttavia, offrono un barattolo di acqua disinfettata per la comodità degli ospiti, consentendo loro di riempirsi presso un distributore di acqua situato fuori dal piano dell'hotel. Ho semplicemente usato il bollitore per far bollire un po' d'acqua nella stanza e lasciarla raffreddare. Sono stati forniti la maggior parte dei prodotti da bagno, ad eccezione del rasoio mancante. Nel complesso, è stata un'esperienza piacevole e piacevole. La colazione offriva una buona varietà di cibi da gustare al 6 ° piano.

UUtente anonimostayed for a night so it satisfy the needs. The apartment looks like the pictures and the AC was cold enough, the game station was a hit for kids. A lot of food nea by.
Room for improvement will be the toilet bowl lid slams down with a very loud sound. Also, unfortunately the swimming pool was under maintenance with no signage indicating that. Shortly after We went into the pool at 11am the security guard told us the pool was closed and asked that we get out of the pool.

TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook.
The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm.
Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

JJust a casual travelerI was there for 3 nights, booking 2 rooms with queen size bed.
It was a less than satisfactory experience. I specifically requested for rooms away from elevators but they gave me 2 rooms that are right next to their employee elevator. So it means, the elevator is in between of the 2 rooms that I booked for my parents and I. No doubt, the employee elevator meant less activity but it's still next to the elevator where ppl could easily come up and down.
Secondly, we were unable to get the key card to open the door to the corner room that is for my parents. Took 1 trip down to concierge to inform them about the problem. They programmed the key card again and problem still exists. Only after I told them to relocate my parents to a different floor that they mentioned that the battery in the scanner of the door ran out so they have to get technician to change them. So, that left a bad impression from the getgo.
Thirdly, once we got on that floor, it smelled bad. I had to get housekeeping to spray air-freshener to get rid of the smell. I believe it from the drainage, where if water wasn't used or flushed down, it can start to smell. So my question was, how long was the room toilets not cleaned or flushed? If the rooms were occupied, surely it shouldn't smell.
Fourth, the pool was not what is expected of a hotel pool. Even a boutique hotel pool look better than that. But I don't care too much about pools as I am looking for good place to rest after spending a lot of time sightseeing when I'm traveling.
Fifth, noise insulation wasn't good. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring from my room. Let alone if the guest spoke loudly, I could hear.
The staff were polite and kind for the most part. One or 2 staff may not know certain things but they are probably new to the job and are on training. Not a big matter.
It is situated in a good location. It is 20-25 mins away from Johor city square. It is in a nice suburban neighbourhood, but within a commercial round area with a park in the middle. There is even a big Aeon Mall right opposite the hotel. Traffic isn't bad going into that area.
If you're looking to spend a lot of time in the room during your travel, this is not the one for you. If you want a comfortable room to rest for the night, this is good enough.

BBoobarnikFor a group of 5, (four adults 1 child) on the way to Singapore, this place is a perfect place for us to stop before closing the border, it's about 4.5 km. from JB central.
The unit is clean and decorate nicely, and our room has view to a city and express way, which at night can enjoy watching the light of vehicles on the way. The draw back to that is the noise when we want to sleep, this does not has any effect on us.
Also the living rooms is perfect for relaxing or for discussing plan for the next days or enjoying board or card game with your group.
The parking and our room is in different tower but this is not an issue as tower A and B is very close.
There is a street food near by which open late at night, so very convenient for us as we arrived in the evening.
The self check-in process is really smooth, you can communicate in advance with the host via whatsapp.
Unfortunately, on the day we arrived, the pool is closed, so we didn't try that.
Next time I visit Johor, I would definitely consider this place.

The set back no private car park except public car park however there are car park within the hotel but subject to availability.
