HHammalAmiriThis is the best hotel out of 6 so far that I have used in Riga. I checked in quite late and therefore had a fantastic sleep in an extra comfortable bed with actual luxurious sheets which other hotels claim but few deliver. The breakfast spread is what you will expect in Northern Europe however it was off excellent quality. Staff are friendly and catered to my requests. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to use the spa facilities so definitely will be returning for that. This is now my first choice hotel in Riga.

Divieto di sosta, molto complicato e molto costoso parcheggiare a Riga.

Accesso alla Spa pagando 20E, piscina un po' fredda.
Piccoli tocchi extra per la nostra luna di miele.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione centrale dell'hotel, alla fine nord-est della vecchia città di Riga, rende molto facile esplorare la città. Siamo stati vicini alle principali attrazioni della città e siamo a 5 minuti a piedi dalla Cat House, Monumento della Libertà, Riga/Dome Cathedral e St. Peter's Cathedral.
Abbiamo prenotato la stanza senza finestra.Era molto ben decorata e il letto era molto comodo. La stanza era tranquilla, ma un po' stufata e non abbiamo sentito l'AC abbastanza forte. Ci sembrava che la stanza fosse ancora buona, ma per il prezzo, e ci fosse un sacco di confezioni, c’era una macchina da caffè Nespresso, una stazione di tè, tazze di tè carine e un grande bagno con una doccia molto bella. Apprezziamo che sia stato fornito un adattatore per pareti e che sia stato inserito in quello che lavorava con gli integratori del stile nordamericano.
L'hotel è situato in un edificio del XVII secolo e ha un bel atrio specchiato. C'è una storia divertente in cui un cavallo ha buttato una scarpa, ha colpito l'edificio e l'ha presa, quindi il proprietario l'ha tenuta perché si è sentito fortunato. L'hotel dispone di un bar nel lobby e di un piccolo negozio.
L'alba di questo hotel è stato il colazione con una vista magnifica sulla città dalla finestra e un buon colazione, con un piccolo buffet con formaggio, pesce fumato, pane fresco e altre scelte. Abbiamo goduto di una varietà di bevande come la limonata di rhubarb e il cioccolato caldo. Puoi ordinare un prodotto caldo che include.

Il personale era gentile e parlava russo.
La camera era spaziosa e dotata di bollitore, tè, caffè, shampoo e aria condizionata. Parcheggio gratuito in hotel, colazioni deliziose e varie.
Non è lontano dal centro a piedi, basta attraversare il ponte.
Gli aspetti negativi della camera: scarsa pressione dell'acqua nella doccia, l'acqua impiegava molto tempo a defluire e riempiva rapidamente il bagno.

JJJGGCCRRThe Pullman is a very upscale hotel, centrally located in the old town of Riga. Getting here from the airport was easy, and the check-in was smooth. The staff greeted me with a smile and provided tips about Riga. The room was clean, spacious and you could tell its been recently renovated. The Spa facilities left a bit to be desired, with a tiny pool and a sauna that didn't get too hot. Still, the restaraunt in the hotel made up for it with excellent food and service. For the price paid I was blown away. Would definitely stay again.

SSka525Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on.
We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues.
The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later.
There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

UUtente ospiteLa città è stata molto tranquilla, a 15 minuti a piedi dalla città e si è immobilizzata in una zona tranquilla, lungo una strada principale. In qualche modo sono riuscito a perdere questo email quando sono arrivato e gli ospiti erano estremamente pronti a aiutarmi fuori.
L'appartamento è accogliente e ideale per i viaggiatori solitari o coppie. La cucina è ben fornita con cucina, cucina, tazze e panini ecc. Per cucina, c'è un due anelli di induzione, che per me è stato sufficiente. Ho notato anche un lavastoviglie e lavastoviglie. La TV è attivato su Internet, grande per i canali di streaming Netflix o Youtube.
In generale, ho trovato gli ospiti molto utili. Se fossi di nuovo a Riga, sarei più che felice di rimanere nello stesso appartamento.
