Hotel vicino a Museo del Bambini, Amman

Very nice hotel in Amman city centre. Very convenient. The service and everything was perfect. So happen there is a Christmas party on that night and we are invited to joined the party. Wine and bites. Perfect!

An overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement. Pros: - Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight. - Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar. - The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner. - Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info). - Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants. - Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part. Cons: - The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments. - New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable. - A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning. Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

Hotel overall facilities are dated but functional. Room noise insulation is poor. My room is located next to the lift, I can hear every guest exiting/entering the lift, not to mention traffic outside the hotel. Breakfast is decent. Overall great location, close proximity to Amman citadel. One major incident I experienced: My reservation is on 29/12-30/12. I arrived at the hotel around 9pm, after a five-hour drive in adverse weather, only to be told by Laith the front desk manager there was no record of my reservation and requested me to contact Trip.com to resolve. He showed me a different booking with my name made by Trip supplier Travco on 29/11-30/11. This is an obvious typo by Travco. The email communication is between Travco and Hotel Toledo. Shouldn’t the front desk contact Travco directly to resolve the issue instead of asking the customer to contact Trip? I understand the work flow is customer ＞ Trip ＞ Travco ＞ Hotel Toledo. Asking the customer to contact Trip is going in circles and not the most efficient since mistake is by supplier Travco. Initially, Laith refused to accept it’s a typo and insisted the person with the same name as me has checked in on 29/11-30/11. Despite the circumstances and the obvious inconvenience, Laith chose to rigidly hide behind hotel policy, I was not allowed to check in unless I pay a deposit of 60 JD. I refused as I had already fully paid for the room. I was kept waiting at the reception for 1.5 hours while Laith reviewed the issue, which was eventually confirmed to be a typo made by the third-party agent Travco. Also Laith confirmed that 29/11-30/11 was a no show. An hour ago he mentioned the person has checked in on the above date was a lie. The mounting frustration was too much for me to bear. Yes, I raised my voice and created a scene. I mentioned from the start and repeated 5 times it’s a typo by Travco. Laith took 1.5 hour to accept. The final straw is audible verbal profanity from Laith himself (To Laith: I did not audibly mention profanity, it was up to what you interpret from my mouth). Laith threaten to call the police, citing I was creating a scene in the hotel. This behavior was unprofessional, unnecessarily confrontational, and unacceptable in a hospitality setting. It demonstrated a total lack of customer care. This is not a government office, Laith could have taken a softer approach to allow the guest to check in, while he proactively resolve with Travco, not asking guest to call Travco! Not debating about typo with guest! My reservation was fully paid and non-refundable, yet I was left standing at the reception for 1.5 hours due to errors made by Travco and decisions taken by Laith. The situation was mishandled from start to finish, and my frustration was a result of being forced to endure an unnecessary and avoidable ordeal. This was hospitality at its worst.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Almond Hotel and Apartments in Amman, Jordan, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The accommodations were immaculate and thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and modernity. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the room was equipped with all the amenities I needed for a convenient stay. One of the highlights was the hotel's serene ambiance. Despite being centrally located, it offered a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. The on-site facilities, including the pool and garden area, were well-maintained and provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to Amman's major attractions and dining options. The staff was always ready with excellent recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. In summary, the Almond Hotel and Apartments exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Amman.

Le camere che si affacciano sulla strada possono essere rumorose di notte, ma le camere che si affacciano sulla strada erano confortevoli. Il personale è stato molto gentile.

Questa è una grande suite alberghiera a buon bilancio, una posizione fantastica e una grande stanza con TV frigorifero e aria condizionata, tra cui servizi di tè e caffè. Il personale era amichevole e a un prezzo molto ragionevole. La suite dell'hotel merita una valutazione di 5* a causa della posizione che è vicino a tutte le strutture, ma la camera da bagno era di scarso standard e molti insetti volavano intorno, soprattutto nel bagno. Le acque di scarico dovevano essere ordinate, perché una notte l'odore era molto forte alle 1:00 del mattino. Questo hotel afferma di essere amico di sedia a rotelle, ma purtroppo è solo amico di sedia a rotelle se non viaggiate da soli. Ho chiamato l'hotel due volte prima di arrivare a chiedere le strutture per gli utenti di sedie a rotelle e mi è stato detto di poter entrare nell'hotel attraverso una rampa usata per il bagaglio, ma purtroppo la rampa era molto forte, anche se mi hanno offerto di aiutarmi quando necessario. Non mi è stato nemmeno detto che la sala da pranzo non era accessibile, anche se c'era un ascensore nella camera da letto. Sono stati gentili abbastanza da portare la colazione nella mia stanza, anche se era ingustosa. C'era un capello lungo sul letto delle signore e la pulizia della stanza poteva essere migliorata. Spero che la direzione prenda il mio parere e pubblica le informazioni corrette relative alle strutture per gli utenti di sedie a rotelle, soprattutto per coloro che viaggiano da soli come me.

Hotel confortevole, pulita e buona camera .Tipo di colazione europeo , anche c'è qualcosa dalla cucina locale, il capo vi farà omelete secondo le vostre preferenze .buono personale .Tutto è stato bello . La posizione non importava molto, perché solo due giorni erano all'hotel, prima di volare a casa.
