Hotel molto pulito con letti comodi e stanza insonorizzata . La colazione che dire eccezionale !!!

L'hotel era incantevole, sono rimasto un po' deluso dal personale della reception che mi parlava tramite schermi di computer. Non mi hanno mai guardato quando mi facevano domande, personalmente lo trovo maleducato. Tuttavia sono riusciti a custodire i bagagli per noi fino al momento del check-in. La piscina è incantevole, non eccessivamente grande e c'erano lezioni in corso, ma per un tuffo veloce va bene. La vasca idromassaggio è minuscola, anche con 3 adulti dentro, ci toccavamo le ginocchia, quindi è stato un po' imbarazzante condividerla con degli sconosciuti. La palestra era fantastica. Sono rimasto molto colpito. La camera era incantevole, molto spaziosa, avevamo una camera doppia, era la prima volta che dormivo in un letto singolo da quando ero bambino, quindi non era molto comoda. Il bagno era pulito e la vasca era enorme, il che era fantastico. La nostra camera non aveva una finestra apribile, ma c'era un ventilatore nella nostra camera, non funzionava ma dopo aver avvisato il personale delle pulizie lo hanno sostituito rapidamente. La colazione era buona, proprio come ci si aspetta. Da una colazione a buffet, ci hanno fatto accomodare molto velocemente entrambe le mattine. C'erano distributori d'acqua al nostro piano e alla reception che abbiamo usato regolarmente e abbiamo apprezzato quel tocco. Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno piacevole e ci tornerei volentieri. La fermata dell'autobus rosso e giallo ”Sali e scendi” è proprio dietro l'angolo, quindi è comoda se si vuole visitare la città.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

Ho prenotato Moxy all'ultimo minuto perché c'è qualche problema nell'alloggio precedentemente prenotato. È stata davvero una bella esperienza al Moxy. Molto pulito. Buoni servizi e buona colazione. Mi sono divertito con la mia famiglia.

Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.

Il personale dell'hotel è assolutamente carino e molto utile.. Mi sentivo molto benvenuto e soprattutto Fraser, Louise e David mi hanno sempre riconosciuto e siamo molto personali, chiedendo come era il mio soggiorno. Mi hanno fatto stare confortevole e ho apprezzato la loro cura. Non ho avuto colazione all'hotel e l'ho trovato così deluso che non c'era nessuna caldaia, tè o caffè in camera. Per me, questo è un requisito minimo di comfort se soggiorno in un hotel con asciugamani, ecc. Ho trovato anche la mia stanza leggermente clinica, senza tappeto e senza sedia, a parte una sedia piegata, che mi sentiva molto di base e il riscaldamento era alto e non sempre accendeva. Penso che se fosse disponibile una caldaia, con la preparazione di tè e caffè e almeno una ruggine sul pavimento, avrei dato una migliore valutazione.

Hampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

Questo è un nuovo hotel Ibis Styles nel centro di Glasgow. È stato aperto di recente e ci tornerò sicuramente. Le camere sono tutte a tema musicale (ad esempio, il tappeto ha foto del mercato di Barrowlands, è adorabile e ci sono nomi di band scritti su tutte le pareti del bagno). L'hotel è molto moderno (insegne al neon alla reception e al bar. Il personale era così adorabile. La colazione è a buffet ma con ingredienti davvero freschi e deliziosi. 10/10 qui. Un vantaggio è che viene servito fino alle 11:00 nei fine settimana Un vantaggio è che prevede il check-out alle 12:00 (un enorme vantaggio per me dato che mi piace dormire fino a tardi)

Il servizio è stato fantastico, un piccolo hotel delizioso con facile accesso a Glasgow. La camera avrebbe bisogno di un ammodernamento, ma questo non influisce minimamente sul soggiorno.
