Hotel vicino a Museo des Docks Romains, Marsiglia

Posizione comoda con accesso al parcheggio che era piuttosto caro 43 euro per 38 ore anche con lo sconto. Puoi lasciare la macchina e passare la giornata a passeggiare per Marsiglia. È a pochi passi sia dal vecchio che dal nuovo porto. Vicino all'hotel ci sono due centri commerciali: Deck Village e Printemps.

Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay… The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up). The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina. The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window! The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage). Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations. The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed. The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved.

Il viaggio d'affari, soggiornare in questo hotel, la posizione geografica è eccellente, il ristorante del settimo piano è senza scena, il primo giorno di colazione è fresco, ma il giorno dopo, il patate è rimasto il giorno precedente, mangiato in un odore diverso e molto duro. L'hotel a cinque stelle non dovrebbe essere ah, la stanza è generalmente raccomandata se la posizione geografica e il panorama del mare al piano superiore sono raccomandati, Se perseguire il rapporto di prezzo, non è fortemente raccomandato.Inoltre, non stare in hotel per aiutarti con un taxi, anche se il conducente conosce inglese, la tassa è doppia!

È stato un soggiorno fantastico! La camera e il bagno sono puliti. Il personale è accogliente e cordiale.

Siamo andati per un lungo weekend per vedere la città e la sua storia, mi sono davvero divertito, 3 giorni sono stati sufficienti per vedere tutto. L'hotel era in una posizione fantastica, proprio vicino alla metropolitana. Tutti erano cordiali in hotel e parlavano molto bene l'inglese, il che è stato utile in quanto il nostro francese non è eccezionale. Non avremmo potuto chiedere di più, inoltre il deposito è stato rimborsato immediatamente lo stesso giorno per intero. Altamente raccomandato.

Il vantaggio principale è la vicinanza alla stazione ferroviaria, situata in posizione elevata. Trasportare i bagagli in giro per la città, soprattutto in zone come il Porto Vecchio, può essere piuttosto difficoltoso. Prendere la metropolitana e poi un taxi sarebbe un'opzione migliore. Marsiglia è una zona molto collinare. L'ibis è noto per la sua eccellente insonorizzazione: il rumore dei vicini che chiudono le porte è meno forte del rumore fuori dalla finestra. La colazione è abbastanza buona per il prezzo.

First time in Marseille. Fine to have stayed at this apartment but probably won't again. I had to chase for the access instructions myself. Also annoying to have to go pick up the keys from Ibis (collection itself was quick), which is a 9-minute walk to the apartment. The fob worked but the 2 keys attached did not open any doors. Email instructions, while clear, were not entirely accurate - referring to going right when in fact I needed to find the apartment on the left. Bit of drama one morning as I forgot my phone inside the apartment and had locked myself out. Had keys on me but the keys couldn't actually open the door, and of course I couldn't remember the super-secure 9-digit digital code! Only eventually managed to get in but asking a neighbour who thankfully was able to call the apartment manager. They should have given me working manual keys but never did. Apartment itself was very clean. Lots of linen. Comfortable bedding in the bedroom as well as hidden under the sofa bed. Basic toiletries included. Washing machine worked. Heating was plenty sufficient. No dishwasher but not an issue as I did not cook much. (2 induction hob rings right against the wall which I didn't think was conducive to cooking anything more than the super basic, but fine for me this trip.) Overall it was okay. Location super convenient, but I'd prefer somewhere quieter, where people and traffic noise wouldn't be so loud and go on after hours. Also somewhere without people relieving themselves next to large bins right outside the building's front door. Somewhere more pleasant...
