UUtente ospiteUpdates: I had a great stay at Fullon Hotel Hualien. The room was spacious, comfortable, and has awesome view of the harbor. The location is ideal for me—close to the coast, at the start of the bike trail, and in a peaceful area. I loved being able to borrow a bike from the hotel, making it easy to explore the bike-friendly town.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Even those who didn’t speak English used Google Translate to communicate, which I appreciated. The only downside was difficulty reaching the hotel before my arrival to confirm the station pick-up, which wasn’t sorted out and confirmed until the day before I arrived.
Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. Most likely will stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Hopefully, I can reach them easier next time.

2025/01/13: Impossible to contact as a foreign visitor. I tried to send messages to the hotel via both email and LINE that were listed on their website since I don't live in TW. I tried to arrange for their pick up service from Hualien Station which is included with my stay. I have sent my inquiry for the details. I finally managed to get messages back one time via LINE after a day with a website that's not in English and a picture showing only a phone number for booking. At least the hotel didn't ask me to do international phone call and finally said I can request the booking with them via the LINE channel. So I sent the booking request with details. That was 3 days ago. And I have not received any message back or heard a peep from them. So I assume the service is still not booked.
Not that the free ride matters since I should be able to get a cab easily, but the service, especially what's promise and the helpfulness of the staff, is quite underwhelming and on the side of not hospitable.
For the same trip, I also had to reach out to Tango Hotel Taipei. They were very helpful with my inquiry and very fast.
Hopefully the stay is nice. I'll come back to update my review then.

UUtente ospiteThis is a nice hotel. It is clean and welcoming. I did not try the food there. The seaview is not really worth as it is too far from the sea, but the rooms are a good size. The staff were friendly.
Just make sure you message the staff 24 hours in advance to book a free transfer. They would not provide a same day service.
Overall, a good hotel. About 3km from downtown. I did not mind walking, but taxis are cheap.

JJoyL'intenzione temporanea di prenotare il giardino di fiori per una notte è 100% compatibile con l'immagine. La mancanza di parcheggio negli Stati Uniti è che non c'è pianificazione e guida;
Molte piccole cose possono giocare nel giardino di Yan, e anche le strutture di palla di Yan, volare e altre possono divertirsi con i bambini. La colazione è anche ricca. Ci sono giardino di Yan, che è consigliabile!

TTobias TDurante il mio recente viaggio a Hualien, ho avuto l'occasione unica di rimanere all'Albergo della Peace Prison Cafe Inn, che ha superato le mie aspettative. Quando sono arrivato, il tema della prigione mi ha attirato immediatamente l'attenzione. Le camere erano progettate per resistere alle celle carcerarie, che hanno aggiunto un elemento intriguante e immersivo al mio soggiorno.
Una cosa che mi è apparsa è l'assenza di un servizio di accoglienza tradizionale, ma per ottenere l'ingresso, tutti gli ospiti devono fare chiamare il numero di contatto fornito, che aggiunge un toccamento di mistero all'esperienza. La signora che lavorava lì era eccezionalmente utile e paziente, anche prendendo il tempo di spiegare come usare le strutture in cinese.
Come un solo viaggiatore, non potevo aiutare, ma apprezzare le vibrazioni che il luogo esulta, soprattutto perché sono un fan del terrore. Ogni notte, mi trovai immerso in un'atmosfera che mi riempiva perfettamente il gusto. Non è spesso che si incontra un ostello che offre un ambiente così unico e emozionante.
La pulizia è sempre una priorità per me, e sono stato felice di constatare che il Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel non è stato deluso in questo aspetto. Le camere sono state ben mantenute, assicurando un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. La comoda posizione dell'ostello è stata anche un grande plus, rendendomi facile esplorare e godere di tutto ciò che Hualien ha da offrire.
In conclusione, se siete un viaggiatore avventuroso che cerca una sorta di esperienza, consiglio vivamente di controllare il Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel. Con le sale con temi carcerari, personale utile, ambiente aereo e posizione conveniente, è una scelta ideale per chi vuole aggiungere una svolta eccitante al loro viaggio. Fidati di me, non sarete delusi!

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
