La mia prima volta che mi sono fermata in un hotel solo di stile backpacker. La posizione è conveniente, ma un checkout a 10 am è un po' troppo presto per me. Il condizionamento d'aria centralizzato è troppo freddo anche per me.
Il prezzo della camera è leggermente superiore alla media, soprattutto rispetto ad altri luoghi che ho prenotato che offrono camere più grandi con bagno accompagnato.
Il personale era molto utile, e quando gli ho detto che avevo fatto la prenotazione sbagliata, mi hanno aiutato e ho deciso di rimanere con la mia prenotazione originale.
Per il bagno condiviso, mi sembra che i cubicoli avrebbero dovuto installare la spray di bidet. Non sono abituato a camminare in e fuori solo per usare il bagno e a chiudere e aprire la porta ogni volta.
Il pranzo mi ha deluso un po'. Domenica era buono, ma lunedì e martedì era tutto il pane, che non potevo mangiare. Sarebbe meglio se il cantina potesse almeno offrire oggetti come uova, verdure, arachidi, ecc.
In generale, è ancora una buona esperienza.

La mia esperienza complessiva è stata molto piacevole. It’s not in a the most ideal location and I would have preferred to not have to walk up steep stairs,but for the price the room was really large and comfortable, I wish there were curtain on the bathroom glass, stag was very friendly and accommodating. There was a bit of noise from neighbors TV/music but over all recommended.

I had a lovely stay here. Staff only speak a little English but were very welcoming and helpful. The room was an okay enough size with the little essentials, plus 2 bottles of water refilled daily of which I really appreciated. Laundry room was also handy. One little annoyance was that the Wi-Fi stopped working my last couple nights, I connected to the room next door as advised by reception but it wasn’t running smoothly, so I resulted to using my personal hotspot.
Overall very comfortable nights sleep, I’d definitely stay again (maybe a window room next time).

Great view from room, spacious and comfortable bed . Had issue with air-conditioning problem notified staffs about the problem. They did not fixed it till the last day, though they did offer to move us to a lower floor. We did not accept as we are too tired and can’t be border to pack again. However, they did accommodate us with late checked out and 2 free breakfast, after we complained about how they attending to it. Otherwise is good place to stay for the city view.

NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

YYanapat W. CivilizeI had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding.
The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop.
It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable.

我之前曾經去過一次台灣九份，但這次的第二趟旅程真的超出期待。無論是風景、氛圍、服務，還是房東的細心程度，通通都令人驚艷。
房間的景色美得像一幅畫，簡直是百萬級的風景！房間非常寬敞，感覺就像住在一整棟房子裡。每人換算成台幣約一千一百元左右，但實際收到的體驗與照顧遠遠超值。
房東非常親切又貼心，不但詳細介紹當地景點，還讓我們感覺像是住在朋友家一樣溫暖。最讓人感動的是，離開當天他還特地騎摩托車送我們到公車站。
正是這些微小卻真誠的舉動，讓這段旅程更加難以忘懷。

ผมเคยไป Jiufen (จิ่วเฟิ่น) ไต้หวันมาแล้วรอบหนึ่ง แต่มาทริปรอบที่สองนี้ต้องบอกเลยว่า ทั้งวิว บรรยากาศ การบริการ และความใส่ใจของเจ้าของที่พัก คือสุดยอดจริง ๆ วิวจากที่พักคือหลักล้าน! ห้องพักว้างขวางมาก รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในบ้านทั้งหลังเลย ราคาต่อคนเมื่อเทียบเป็นเงินไทยตกประมาณ 1,100 บาทนิด ๆ เท่านั้น แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับกลับมากกว่าราคาเยอะมาก
เจ้าของที่พักน่ารัก ใส่ใจ ช่วยแนะนำสถานที่เที่ยวอย่างละเอียด ทำให้เรารู้สึกอบอุ่นเหมือนอยู่บ้านเพื่อน และตอนวันกลับ เขายังอาสา ขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์ไปส่งเราถึงป้ายรถเมล์ด้วยตัวเอง เป็นความใส่ใจเล็ก ๆ ที่น่ารักและน่าประทับใจมากจริง ๆ

Alle 23:00 di quella sera, ho trovato uno dei miei cellulari lasciato nella mia stanza precedente e ho chiesto se poteva aiutarmi a chiamare la stanza, o se potevo chiamare io e un membro del personale dell'hotel avrebbe potuto aiutarmi a recuperarlo.
L'addetto al personale ha subito detto che, essendo già le 23:00, ci sarebbe stata una lamentela se avesse aiutato, quindi si è rifiutata di aiutarmi e ha potuto gestire la situazione solo la mattina successiva.
Poi mi ha chiesto come mi sarei sentito se avessi ricevuto una chiamata di notte. Ho risposto che le persone dovrebbero avere empatia e che se avessi saputo che qualcuno aveva lasciato qualcosa di importante e aveva bisogno di aiuto urgente, sarei stata felice di aiutarlo.
L'addetta allo staff non ha risposto e ha ribadito che non poteva aiutarla quel giorno. Possiamo solo aspettare fino a domani mattina.
Usando la paura di essere criticata come scusa invece di cercare di aiutare a risolvere il problema o suggerire altre soluzioni, credo che anche lei sarebbe stata infelice se avesse perso qualcosa e fosse stata trattata in questo modo.
Questo incidente ha completamente distrutto la mia fiducia in questo hotel! Se avete l'opportunità di soggiornare in questo hotel in futuro, dovreste essere preparati.
Inoltre, se avete davvero bisogno di aiuto e l'hotel non può fornirvelo, chiamare la polizia potrebbe farvi ottenere una risposta più rapida.

The location is excellent—very convenient with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and plenty of food options nearby. It made exploring Taipei effortless, especially with family members.
The room itself was spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Taipei. Would definitely stay here again!

UUtente ospiteLocation is outstanding, very close to 7-11, however as many many other people have notes it's hard to find. The address given (number 28) is wrong. As you go up the street, the last houses are numbered 19-24 and then there's nothing but 300m of shrines. I know, I walked past them 3 times making sure I hadn't missed 28. The actual hotel is number 5-2. If you use that, Google maps finds it, what a surprise. Actually there is a 28 halfway down at the bottom, but it's a house not a hotel. Anyway, the receptionist blamed Google maps for getting me to the wrong place and when I pointed out the address on the booking information was wrong, she just shrugged and said that's a problem for management.
Next, you have to change into slippers at the entrance. They were too small so only my toes fit in, and carrying my suitcase up 2 flights of stairs in ill-fitting slippers is a safety hazard. Even worse when leaving. The guy watched me struggle the whole time too.
The room itself was weird. It's a strange Japanese style with a raised floor and then no bedframe, just a mattress. There was quite a bit of wasted space in the room and the bathroom was a wet room instead of separate shower and toilet, just like you get in the tiny cramped hotel rooms. So for an hour or two after having a shower, going to the toilet means you get wet feet or wear the slippers and get the room floor wet. When there's space wasted in the room, that could have been used to make a shower too, this is stupid.
The place was clean, although there were renovations being done in the common room where you change into slippers most of the days.
No water etc provided, but there were a few snacks left in the kitchen, and there was a hot water dispenser in the kitchen too. This was really useful as there's nowhere close to eat after 7pm, so you have to buy instant noodles from 7-11.
Room was quiet and curtains were good, so easy to sleep well. No light switch within reach of the bed though, so you have to get to the bed in complete darkness.

UUtente ospiteHad a wonderful experience staying at the Yun Hotel with my kids. This was probably one of my most relaxing staycations as we stayed in the Water Room with the hot spring and sizable living room.
The front desk had an English speak gentlemen that took care of our check in, and described all the things we could do at the hotel. This place is very kid friendly with a dedicated play room on the second floor, and a mini race track with high end electric cars for the kids to drive. There's also a snacks, arts n crafts, and a movie theatre all on the ground floor. The people staffing all these venues were all very helpful and professional.
Our morning breakfast was delivered on time and so delicious. There was so much food, 3 people could not finish the 2 sets. Can't wait to visit again during the next holiday!

UUtente anonimoLa posizione è super convenienza diretta sull'aeroporto MRT e direttamente dalla stazione Sanchong. Intorno all'hotel, c'è un supermercato locale, Starbucks, e anche un centro commerciale con molti ristoranti, quindi trovare cibo è davvero facile.
Abbiamo anche un aggiornamento della stanza gratuita, che è stata una bella sorpresa. Il letto era HUGE (sentito come 240x200!) e la stanza stessa era super spaziosa. In generale, super felice con il soggiorno!

UUtente anonimoPrima volta a Taipei, ho soggiornato con amici. Ci sono un 7-Eleven e un FamilyMart nelle vicinanze, il che è comodo. La fermata dell'autobus e la stazione della metro distano circa dieci minuti a piedi. L'ascensore richiede la tessera per accedere al piano. Mi sembra che ci siano distributori d'acqua al 2°, 4° e 5° piano. Il prezzo è proporzionato alla qualità dell'alloggio.
