Palms Garden Inn

I live near the Santa Fe river and the river is flooding after Hurricane Debbie. Forecast to flood my road two blocks from the river. I work at nearby truck stop so location of hotel is perfect. What a nice room! Very clean, tile floor, nice fridge and microwave, tv, bathroom. Very quiet. Thick walls. Heard no noise. No intrusions. Stayed two days. Checked out two days early because my road did not flood after all. He gave me refund for two days with no questions asked. Very nice. Very secure. Very clean. I will be back when it floods again!

A decent option to stay for the night. It is right off of I-75. It was rather quiet and the room had everything I needed. The WiFi worked great! I don't believe they have breakfast, but they have food options right next door and across the street. The ice machine works which is a BONUS and the price was reasonable.

I was a little leery because of the price. The room and grounds were clean, the bed was comfortable, the coffee maker, fridge, tv, and microwave all worked Can't complain at all. Well, there weren't any hangers. But, for the price..... It was a great deal for $76.00!

I just wanted a cheap motel for the night so I can attend an event nearby the next day. I found this motel for about 63 dollars a night on Orbitz. When I arrived on a Friday night, I went to the office where a friendly agent honored my Orbitz reservation and rate and gave me a room at 107. I parked near the room and when I opened the door, I was greeted with a clean and spacious room with two queen beds. There was a small TV with DirecTV channels. A microwave and fridge were available. The bed was surprisingly clean and comfortable that I slept quite well. The AC/heater was wall mounted and provided nice warmth during the cold weather. The room was quite quiet as well. The bathroom was nothing fancy and a bit cramped, but it was clean and had a decent shower. Water pressure was low, but I had no issues getting hot water. Soap and shampoo wall mounted. The toilet was clean. The sink was inside the room and spacious. There was a coffee maker with ok coffee. The hotel was not much frills. I didn't recall seeing a pool nor a fitness area. The lobby was very small and open at certain hours. When I checked out, I just placed my cards near the window and left. The lobby was closed when I left around 9ish. Breakfast is not offered, but there is a Dunkin donuts next door. For only 63 dollars per night, I honestly had low expectations for this motel. However, I was provided a clean and comfortable room with friendly service. The motel felt safe as I was told there were cameras monitoring the area. While I prefer higher end hotels, this will be my go-to motel if I am just staying overnight in Lake City, especially with the low rates.
