Hotel con piscina a Lagos

I normally never write reviews but felt the need to after my experience. I would not consider this resort 5 stars due to both the room condition, facilities, and service. The rooms were outdated and could definitely use a refresh; the bath and bed linens seemed a bit old and weathered. The drapes had black stains on them. Lots of flies and mosquitoes in the room before we ever opened the balcony door. The bedside lampshade were hanging off the lamp base when we entered and had stains on them. While these things are unimpressive, they are not what left me unhappy about my stay. The main reason for this review is that I was extremely disappointed and shocked by how a specific situation was dealt with. I recommend to avoid the hot tub near the spa. I decided to take a dip in the hot tub near the spa for a few minutes before heading inside for the evening, and within 5 or so minutes of sitting in the hot tub (which was not even hot at all) my new $200 swimsuit was completely ruined by improper chemical levels. Upon realizing my swimsuit was completely discolored, I exited the hot tub and my skin smelled strongly of chemicals/bleach (more so than usual for a hot tub). I went inside to shower and my skin was red and smelled strongly of chemicals, and this chemical smell persisted even after bathing multiple times. I went to notify the front desk of what happened to me, and also showed them the bleached swimsuit. I was hoping they would try improve the situation in the some way or at the very least check on the chemical levels so that I was assured I was not exposed to an unhealthy amount of toxic chemicals. I was told by front desk staff that they would tell their colleagues about the issue and they asked for my room number, but I did not receive any sort of apology nor was asked if there was anything that could be done to make it right. I felt highly neglected and thought maybe someone would follow up with me later on, but it has now been a few days since I left the resort and I have received zero follow up to see if I am physically okay or if there is anything that can be done to improve the situation. Seriously disappointing that the hotel does not care about their facilities damaging guest's property nor about guest wellbeing.

Tutto molto pulito e curato, completo di piscine interne ed esterne (anche solo adulti) con relativi bar, spa, negozietto per eventuali necessità. La spiaggia Porto do mos è davvero bella, per nostra opinione migliore di quelle in Lagos. Lo staff molto disponibile, appartamento molto carino. Consigliato!

We arrived just before 1pm, aware that check-in is from 2pm. The receptionist was friendly and immediately offered to check if there was an apartment ready for us. She checked us in early and explained how to find our way around the hotel. We stayed in a premium one bedroom apartment which was exactly as advertised. The apartment was clean and modern and quite big. There was a TV and air-conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. The balcony was big with a table and two chairs. The pool area was big with lots of loungers, we never had any problem getting one. Staff frequently checked the pool area to keep it tidy. The pool could be a little cold at first but this wasn't a huge issue. Because there are two large pools, there is plenty of space to have a good swim. You can buy drinks and snacks from the snack bar and take them back to your lounger. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was from 8am to 10.30am. Breakfast was buffet style with a mixture of continental and cooked options. Every day there were little slices of cake, the chocolate cake was delicious. There was also a nice selection of bread and rolls. The fruit selection was one of the best I've had, including fresh melon, pineapple and kiwi slices as well as fruit salad. I liked the location of the hotel. It's in a quiet area and is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the old town where there are lots of restaurants. We had a lovely stay and I would happily return.

Please be careful with what kind of accommodation you book, I made the mistake of booking a “twin room” for my elderly parents, it was the most basic of rooms and the only outside space was a tiny triangle of patio at the front of the flat (see pics) my parents had to ask for seats so they could sit out there. Again this is my fault NOT the hotel but I thought I needed to add this in for people who might be thinking of booking the budget room. Cons - The restaurant - if you want to eat at the restaurant you won’t be able to see what’s available on the menu until you have been seated, which can lead to embarrassment if like myself you're allergic to onions and everything on the menu seemed to contain onion so I had to get up in front of everyone and explain to the staff why I was leaving! I asked if there was an alternative which there was but was told if I wanted this I had to pay, having already paid for half board accommodation I found this to be very unfair as it’s an allergy not a choice.! I would suggest that in future to save any embarrassment you would put up the evenings menu where people can make a choice before entering the restaurant. The room itself was very basic no kettle meaning no options to make yourself a drink when wanted. The shower screen was leaking, had someone come out to fix this twice but it was still leaking and so had to keep putting towels on floor. No shuttle bus from hotel to town/beach as advertised on their website. Apparently it finished at the end of their season which isn’t what it said when I booked the holiday and the hotel was fully booked so really can’t understand why it wasn’t running. As other people have stated in these comments the pool chairs were filthy there were some really awful ones full of black stuff!! Pros- A choice of 2 swimming pools, the complex as a whole was very nice like a little village. The reception staff were very helpful and polite.

Hotel é incrível. Fui muito bem recebida, Recepcao sempre ótima e disposta a ajudar. Café da manhã é maravilhoso! Fora a vista que se tem. As meninas que lá trabalham são super atenciosas e simpáticas. Uma brasileira, Cris, um amor. Me deu várias dicas. Limpeza ótima, localização perfeita. Única coisa que melhoraria é a cortina do quarto que não fecha bem por completo, entra claridade.
