SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western the Villages

Everything was fine be aware they’re going to up charge for their deposit to scare people away

We stayed 2 nights. AC was not working (1st night) and the was hot. It was late getting to the room so we tried to adjust the fan unit but it won't do anything. We found a cleaning person the next morning and she said if it don't work just unplug it and plug it back in, and you know what it worked. You would think they would have a note somewhere so the guest can do that. The 2nd night room was cooler, but there was water on the floor from the AC unit. It was late again (midnight) so we went to the service desk to see what can be done. They said we can move you, We had a busy day and were dirty and hot from working on a roof. And one of us were already in the shower. To much more to explain to write out, For the money we paid, next time we will go somewhere else.

This was the second year we stayed at Sure Stay by Spanish Springs. We don’t rent a car or golf cart and find that it’s an easy walk to the square and fun to walk by the lake to see the ducks or watch remote-controlled sail or speedboats on the water. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was substantial with hot sausage and eggs, bagels, English muffins, mini muffins, oranges, boxed cereals, but no variety in the hot breakfast items. Chili’s is right next door. The pool was functioning this time, but full of tree droppings (that time of year). I still swam in it but I would recommend a net-type covering to prevent some of that debris from entering the pool.

Hotel was very nice. Liked the ambience. Breakfast area could be bigger, only had 4 2 person tables.

Very nice enclosed patio with chairs and table. Very nice staff. Location was convenient to all areas of The Villages.

Exactly what we needed it for. Sleep and shower. It was clean and smelt clean. Front desk was very helpful whenever we needed something.

My family had a great time at the SureStay hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a variety of foods. I would definitely recommend it and will be back next time I visit.

When we opened the door to our room it was spotless but had a strong cleaning smell that irritated my nose. When I mentioned this to Bethany at the desk she was happy to switch our room and even helped us. The housekeeping team had used a new product that day and we all felt it was too strong a scent. The staff at this hotel couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating.
