Arrived on 14th May which was cold and rainy. Grated and helped you the steps at the front and stairs to room with my suitcase. Told if anything needed to ring or email. The TV did not work and the room was freezing. I rang the number in the card given and emailed. No response whatsoever. All instructions on back of door in French only. In the morning the owner did not apologise for anything merely asking if I had a nice stay. When I told her the room was cold she blamed the weather. I later received an email saying the heating is switched off at the beginning of May. The premises is clean and within walking distance of the port (20 mins). Breakfast good. Free parking on road nearby. However it is in front of blocks of high rise flats which look rather intimidating.

Excellent in every way. Fernanda is very helpful and speaks about 10 languages. Very good breakfast included. Very good location: within 10 or so minutes of the port. Very nice park nearby. The house is beautifully furnished. Be sure to stay at this gem.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Villa Verde, en famille à Noël. Belle maison avec une décoration soignée, une ambiance chaleureuse dans des volumes superbes, une literie remarquable.... un vrai bonheur ! Le petit plus: une facilité pour entrer et sortir malgré le nombre d'invités (10 adultes)...sans problème de clés pour aller si facilemnet en centre ville à pied et profiter des charmes de La Rochelle. Une belle adresse.

Chambres propres et spacieuses , accueil et service au top , petits déjeuners copieux . Idéalement placé à moins de 10 mins à pied du vieux port , arrêt de bus juste en face pour les jours de forte pluie , facilité pour stationner , aucune fausse note , nous recommandons

Emplacement au top, pas besoin de voiture pour visiter, tout est à proximité. L entretien et la décoration au top. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. L accueil est très agréable, sourire, conseil, gentillesse... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Tout était parfait. Un accueil très chaleureux et à l'écoute (Fernanda n'est pas avare de bons conseils), un emplacement idéal à proximité du centre-ville et d'un agréable parc; chambre spacieuse à la propreté irréprochable; décoration moderne et épurée; très bonne literie; petit déjeuner copieux et succulent (gâteaux faits maison "à tomber"!). Nous recommandons cette adresse sans aucune hésitation!

Je confirme sans aucune réserve les avis précédents . Nous avons même eu le privilège de bénéficier d'une chambre plus grande que celle que nous avions réservée . Nous avons aussi réussi à stationner sans difficulté dans une rue perpendiculaire à l'avenue , à 50 mètres de la maison d'hôtes. Le principal intérêt de cette maison hôtes ( mis à part l'accueil , la literie etc ) est sans aucun doute son emplacement à 15 minutes de la plage en traversant le parc ou du port en descente l'avenue.

Très agréable chambre d'hotes bien située dans la Rochelle à moins de 15 min du port à pied. La chambre a une décoration soignée et une literie confortable. Accueil sympathique par la propriétaire et bon petit dejeuner. Je recommande si vous voulez visiter la régions
