Arriviamo all'aeroporto di La Paz alle 3:00, quindi è stato un grande sollievo raggiungere l'Hotel Europa circa un'ora dopo l'atterraggio e essere immediatamente assegnati una stanza. L'hotel è stato organizzato e gestito in modo da poter raggiungere il colazione circa 8 persone, con un'importante struttura di buffet, 5 stelle, con un'area centrale, a soli 5 stelle, situata a pochi passi dalla strada principale attraverso la città e, in effetti, dalla strada principale verso e dall'aeroporto. Molto conveniente e a breve passo in una direzione vi porta alla piazza principale della città e del Mercato delle streghe e in direzione opposta a Sopocachi con molti bar e ristoranti. L'hotel era relativamente tranquillo e, come molte aziende, ancora recuperando dalle chiusure e dalla disturbo Covid, quindi il servizio di spa e piscina non funzionava né era uno dei ristoranti. Il ristorante principale, il Bistro, non aveva alcun carattere e atmosfera, ma era perfettamente adeguato e costoso. Abbiamo trovato un hotel di fascino, chiamato HowMe/Selina, che si trova in Ave 20 ottobre, che è molto soddisfacente e molto economico. In tutto in una posizione molto confortevole e confortevole. This is overall a great hotel in a quiet neighborhood of La Paz, Bolivia, known as zona azul. Blue zone a great place to enjoy our visit. The Atix offers a great gourmet restaurant with an experimental food wit wine pairing and a wonderful roof top for snacks and drinks by the pool. We enjoyed at in two evening of a quiet and excellent service. The really low quality item was the not friendly architecture design of the bathroom: only half of the shower is closed causing too much water on the slippery floor; and the support for soap and shampoo extremely too small,

My wife, son and I spent 17 wonderful days in Bolivia but only had a poor experience at the Casa Grande. We booked a family room so we could all stay in 1 room but when we checked in we were separated and my son was down the hall. He is a young adult so he was not concerned but this was inconvenient since he was down the hall and not next door or in the room we booked. We had several issues with our keys not working during our stay. You need a key to use the elevator and had to go back to the front desk multiple times as the key did not work in elevator and at times for the room door. However more concerning was that we realized after several days that our room door did not lock! Yes the door could be opened without a key. We did not realize this earlier in our stay because we had so many key issues that we did not realize until New Years morning when the key did not work and I just turned the handle and the door opened. When we informed the staff, we were told that the maintenance person was off because of the holiday and offered another room but we were leaving the next night so it was too much to pack to unpack for the night and we dead bolted the door when inside. On top of this our safe did not work. The staff attempted to fix a few times but could not get it to work. We had to go to my son's room down the hall every time to lock up our valuables which is an inconvenience especially if you're trying to enjoy a vacation! But given the door not locking and the safe not working we were more than surprised. Staying in a hotel without a locked door is a major Security issue - crazy. The staff was always helpful and tried to assist. We asked to speak to the owner: Don Carlos but was told he was away. The manager was not on-site New Years Day. But the housekeeper & young man on staff that day were very surprised and understanding of our dilemma to NO fault of their own. When we brought this to the managers attention upon check out the next day: ”Nothing” was mentioned about our issues, except for we are so sorry about your experience. I spend 100 plus nights out a year in Marriott in the US for work and this has never happened, and when issues occur they are prompt to address. We had a wonderful experience at the Marriott Santa Cruz the prior week followed by a wonderful stay at the Camino Real in La Paz. Camino Real in La Paz. We were expecting a much better experience at the 5 star Casa Grande , but disappointed with the outcome especially given we paid more than $250 a night. We stayed at the Casa Grande from 12/27/23 through 1/2/24. Still never heard back from hotel manager regarding our concerns and still waiting for ANY response back. Hotel food is good and staff is friendly and warm and because of this reason only dd not lower to 1 star.

Hotel Presidente, at Potosi 920, La Paz, BO; is very centrally located. It is walking distance to Witches market, and major squares like Plaza Mayor and Plaza Murrillo; and the Art Museum. The tariff was very affordable, and on par with mid-range hotels in major cities in other parts of the world. We arrived early morning in la Paz, the hotel front desk checked us in; and also allowed us to have the buffet breakfast. The breakfast was decent; we are used to much more elaborate fare in Singapore/Bangkok and other cities in Asia. The hotel bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and the hot water was instantly available; unlike other hotel reviews I read online. The view from the room is more beautiful at night as it shows the lit up hills. The front desk staff and the people at the door were very helpful with arranging taxis for us.

Che bel hotel! E' brand nuovo e si sente come. La nostra camera è grande, comoda, pulita e elegante. Ci piaceva stare in piscina e in tubo caldo. Il personale è estremamente utile e attento. Ci hanno contattati per posta elettronica per creare un taxi per prendere dall'aeroporto. Il personale ci ha anche dato una torta per festeggiare la luna di miele. Molto consigliata!
