Eden Organic Farm & Bungalows

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. Minar was so extremely helpful to us every step of the way. She got us extra hangers, scheduled our massage, ordered us taxis, and more that I can’t remember right now lol The room we had was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and charming. The mini hot tub in the bathroom was just phenomenal. We took a bath almost everyday we were there. And I can’t remember the name of the nice lady working in the café but she was so sweet! Our main gripes were that we had to get a taxi or uber to go almost anywhere, the shower head didn’t come out far enough and the semi trucks going by were very loud. But it was worth it in my opinion. If you’re looking for a secluded and charming stay with helpful and communicative staff then you’ll love it here.

Beautiful place! Closer to AirBNB style than a hotel. The bungalow we got was wonderful. Gorgeous shower/bathroom. A porch with a table and a hot tub. Everything was very clean. It's about 20 minutes away from the main town, but that shouldn't be a problem, even if you don't have a car. Uber is super convenient: quick and about $6-10 ride, depending on exact distance and time of day. DON'T pay excessive pickup fees from a tour like we did on the first day ($60 extra, ouch). Much better to get an Uber to a regular pickup spot. It's convenient to have a few tour opportunities in the place where you live! We arrived quite a while before the official check-in time, so we did the chocolate/coffee tour while we were waiting for our room to be ready, and had a blast. The guide Nelson was very engaging, and we got to participate in making coffee and chocolates (with some to take home!). And the by the time the tour was over, we were able to get into our room, even though it was still a couple of hours before official check-in). The night hike (led by Jhonny) was also great. So many spiders! The staff were all great. Even when the front desk is closed after 5 PM, they're accessible by WhatsApp and come in late/early to accommodate various needs. One suggestion: I wish the breakfast were open earlier. With so many activities in La Fortuna starting early, we were always out before breakfast started at 8. They packed a to-go breakfast for us to receive early when requested, but I don't think it's quite the same! Overall: 10/10, highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Eden Organic. Our bungalow was nestled in the forest with a view of the river. We spent most of our time on the porch or upper patio with the small private pool and hammock. We enjoyed the property - flowering plants, paths, bird and other animals. The staff is welcoming and made the stay a true delight. They booked several excursions for us. We also did the cooking class they offered at it was fantastic. The free breakfast and food from the cafe were delicious. Highly recommend!

Bungalow auf der Kakaofarm. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt Informationen zu Touren in der Umgebung die er dann auch reserviert. Jeden Tag beim Frühstück fragt er ob alles passt und ob man etwas braucht. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und man hat einen Blick auf die Farm und den Fluss. Die Bungalows sind recht neu und neu eingerichtet. Wir hätten uns in unserem Bungalow, Kolibri, gerne noch etwas mehr Licht gewünscht. Die Bungalows liegen in der Nähe von der Hauptstraße und man hört die LKWs ziemlich. Dafür liegen vom Hotel aus Ohrstöpsel zur Verfügung. In den Bungalows riecht es sehr feucht, da es Holzhütten sind, aber eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Wenn es regnet, hört sich das an, wie wenn man im Zelt schlafen würde. Wir fanden es angenehm und hat uns beim Einschlafen geholfen. Ein Verbesserungswunsch unsererseits, ein wenig auf die Sauberkeit achten, gerade bei den Betten.
