Fantastic location, next to the Kyoto station. Front desk speaks excellent English. Food is easily available and variety is great!!! Breakfast spread was really good with both local and western options. Highly recommended to stay here.

Very tragically located opposite the train station! Cost little room with a powerful hairdryer, bonus point! They also provided pajamas Definitely will recommend this place

Room is small but well located to malls and train station. The sound insulation is good given the price point.

I chose IBIS as I stayed in Melbourne and was convenient! Is right opposite Kyoto station. Hotel right has donki, left has AEON mall. 3-5mins walk. Bus or train option to get to Gion, shrine and super easy. Staff was super friendly with SMILES! The hair dryer was amazing! They got me an upgrade! Thank you!

I was in Kyoto for a short visit and it was my first time. I find the hotel location is perfect since it is right across the Kyoto Station. On the other hand it is still walking distance for many places. I highly recommend this hotel for such traveler. They are keeping your luggage when you are roaming in the city.

My room had a lot of dust in it and the bathroom drain had mould and was clogged. Other than that it was pleasant

The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything! Very lively and across the street of JR station. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the laundry was easy to use

Worst ever stay at any hotels. First time stayed at the hotel without heating for the first two night with the temperature was ~40 degrees F. Called front desk, they gave me couple of blankets instead because they didn’t have control of the central system. Resides location nothing good to stay about this hotel. However, There are many hotels surrounding Kyoto Station for you to choose from besides ibis. I won’t recommend this hotel.

I stayed at their basic room for a night. Room and bathroom was really clean, comfortable bed and very good location. Check in and check out process were really fast. Staff were nice to help out. Definitely I will book again once we’re back in Kyoto.
