Fantastic location, next to the Kyoto station. Front desk speaks excellent English. Food is easily available and variety is great!!! Breakfast spread was really good with both local and western options. Highly recommended to stay here.

I chose IBIS as I stayed in Melbourne and was convenient! Is right opposite Kyoto station. Hotel right has donki, left has AEON mall. 3-5mins walk. Bus or train option to get to Gion, shrine and super easy. Staff was super friendly with SMILES! The hair dryer was amazing! They got me an upgrade! Thank you!

I was in Kyoto for a short visit and it was my first time. I find the hotel location is perfect since it is right across the Kyoto Station. On the other hand it is still walking distance for many places. I highly recommend this hotel for such traveler. They are keeping your luggage when you are roaming in the city.

This hotel is directly opposite Kyoto Station, so it is super convenient especially if you are doing all the sight seeing on a bus or train. You can just walk across into the station and get yourself to all the tourist destinations. One thing good about the public transportation is that it is all linked to Google Maps - so you know which bus, which stations and how much it costs. It is also convenient with many food options around. The hotel itself is clean and are environmentally conscious. They clean the room every 3 days, unless you request more cleaning. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend people to stay here due to its convenience. Hotel staff is really friendly. You can store your luggage at the lobby, which we did after we checked out for about a few hours to go grab lunch before heading off to Osaka. Overall, a great place to stay if you are not looking for anything fancy.

Hotel located right at Kyoto station, surrounded variety of food options. All convenient store and shopping easily accessible. Hotel room is clean and in house laundry available with reasonable charge.
