Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

The best hotel I’ve stayed at in Japan! It’s even better than another 4-star hotel I stayed at in Tokyo. Interactions with the staff were minimal, so I have no comments on that. However, the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and spotless. I loved that the bathroom was larger than the usual hotel bathrooms, and the shower was separate from the bathtub as well. The hotel offers great amenities, including a laundry machine, vending machines. There were also complimentary toiletries and drinks offered in the lobby. While the location is a bit far from the main tourist attractions, there’s a convenient loop bus from Kanazawa Station that stops at various tourist spots, so getting around was still easy. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby, along with a large shopping mall. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Kanazawa Station via the side exit near the dorayaki shop, which was very convenient. Plus, having a 7-Eleven directly connected to the hotel on the first floor was a huge plus! The only downside was the buffet breakfast — while the selection was large, with both Italian and Japanese options, the taste was pretty average. I’d recommend skipping it since there are many nearby restaurants and a 7-Eleven. Another small thing was that the double bed came with only one pillow, whereas all the other hotels I stayed at provided at least two. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers!

Right in the middle of the CBD area and a very easy to locate get off the train station and go to exit you went through straight to the Hotel lobby without even needs to go out of the street. 

The hotel has an excellent location, with a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby. It is also close to Nishiki Market, making it very convenient.

Location is great just 1min walk to nishiki market and is worth the price. Many restaurants and shopping around so is very convenient and also station is near within walking distance.

easy to get to hotel from Kyoto Station. Room is clean, Walkable distance to most places. Lots of shopping and eating places around the area.

First, the room was smelly which likes the mixture of smelly foot and cigarette. Second, when I asked for the front dest to give me some water , they asked me to get it by myself from the front dest when the other rooms could really get the “room service”. The service this time really disappointed me while comparing to that in August. Even though the location of the hotel is convenient, I think I will choose another hotels next time when I visit Kyoto.
