Marbel Hotel by Palm Wings - All Inclusive

I was in room 509 & arrived back homr 10th June 24. OK, I'll start by saying this was a last minute holiday booked through Jet2, mainly because it was my Turkish God-son's 21st birthday and he was going into the army to do his national service at the end of June. Also worth mentioning that I've been to Turkey 30+ times, and to Kusadasi 9 times, staying at many of the AI resorts in the town. I'll start with the positives. 1) The staff are helpful and friendly. 2) Ideally located for the indoor market (clothing on Wednesdays) 3) They have watermelon the in restaurant. 4) The bar is only open until 11pm, no no drunken/loutish behaviour. The negatives A) The hotel is uninspiring from the outside. B) It's not close to a beach. C) There's only one chair on the balcony and no table (even when travelling alone there have always been 2 & ALWAYS a table) D) There is no kettle in the room E) Only 1 large bottle of water in the fridge (ALL others hotels experienced in Kushadasi have had soft drinks that are restocked). If you want more bottled water here you have to pay for it. F) No seperate ice area in fridge. G) The shower has no shelving meaning that your gel/shampoo goes on the floor. H) There's no grab rail in the shower (esp important given point G and that many guests were elderly/inform) I) The fit and finish of the sanitary ware leaves a lot to be desired. J) The music in the restaurant is atrocious, just instrument smooth jazz that is really quite depressing. I like jazz but for between 14-20 visit in a week I heard others complain about it. I spoke to the manager about it but of course nothing was done. K) There's no bookshelf to leave your finished books or toiletries you don't need for others to make use of. In my case rhe balcony door when closed, wouldn't open again, meaning I had to sleep with the door ajar. This meant sleep was difficult due the noise of dogs barking. Can you imagine locking yourself outside!? In summary I shall return to Kusadasi, (Ive already booked my next Kushadasi trip for Sept) just not thos hotel.

The hotel is lovely. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The staff are also really nice. Especially Bella and her husband that make up the animation team. We really struggled with the language barrier and not many staff knew even very basic English which I thought was a little odd. One thing in particular I found really bad was the food. It literally made us ill so we had to stop eating there which was a shame as we’d paid to go all inclusive and hadn’t really considered the cost of eating out because of this. The pool was also unbearably cold too which again I found odd. It’s also in quite a rough area and I absolutely wouldn’t advise walking anywhere alone. The locals aren’t the nicest and most honest people and will do anything to anyone for a bit of money so be careful of scams/thieves etc. there’s also a huge presence of stray animals which is really heartbreaking but of course nobodies fault

We booked this as a last minute (bargain priced) get away for some sunshine! We read the mixed reviews and were a bit wary. We didn’t need to be. We had a brilliant week. The staff are lovely - and very helpful. The pool was clean and never over crowded. There were activities throughout the day and evening which everyone of all ages joined in with. The rooms were clean and did the job. The air conditioning in the room was a blessing in the evening. The location doesn’t look much but is a short walk to everywhere- I ventured out to the local shops on foot (about 10 mins walk). There is also a large supermarket close by (where I bought cheap bits for the teenager!) and a store in the hotel. There are lots of excursions on offer too. I liked the food, although others didn’t. I’d say it’s more suited to the non fussy adult! There is a large selection of salads, cold meats and cheeses. Wide range of deserts and hot selection at both lunch and dinner times. The pool side snack bar was a hit with burgers etc. The ice creams by the pool was also a plus! The bar is well stocked and has soft, alcoholic and hot drinks available. This is definitely a 3-4 star experience, but is great value for money and a comfortable holiday.

the staff are so friendly, there’s entertainment for kids and the woman who runs it is amazing along with 2 others who help run it are the best people i’ve met on holiday, and there is a shop inside the hotel and the shop man is the nicest person with really good prices and really good things to buy food drinks souvenirs anything you need on holiday he’s a very friendly person and the bar staff are really nice too the rooms are nice and the balcony’s are amazing

This has been our 3rd visit to the hotel over the past 3 years. The 2 previous years fantastic, this year has been interesting! The animation team are FAB! Couldn't fualt them what so ever! However the manager needs to get his act together and give them a new laptop to do their jobs properly! It kept crashing and turning off making the entertainment a little s**t no fualt of the animation team but down to management! The market man in the hotel is amazing! He is always friendly with a smile on his face and happy to help whenever you need him to, again no fulat of his, but management this year have been horrible and told him to move all his stock Inside his very tiny shop rather then outside the shop where it has been for previous years! The rooms were cleaned daily but not until late afternoon when you want to come up and shower before dinner but can't as the maid is cleaning the room! Overall we believe this will be our last year visiting this hotel but definitely not Kusadasi as the town is beautiful!!! Just be picking a different hotel next time.... unfortunately!

Returned home from this hotel yesterday. A very mixed bag really , on arrival we were not given any information at all (meal times , local amenities, etc ) Our room was clean (ish) . We had 3 single beds in the room.which was pretty small. We did message ahead and request a pool view , which we got . The hotel is extremely friendly and the staff are very nice & helpful , in particular a young girl on reception (dark hair & glasses) , always had a smile and was happy to help with anything. Sunbed situation was dire , it was the Turkish holidays by our 3rd day and the calm , chilled hotel became manic in this period & alot less relaxing. A life guard/pool attendant is definitely needed for busier periods, I witnessed much older kids in the tiny baby pool playing volleyball !! Meaning parents who actually had small children, having to get out as it was dangerous ! Parents asked the children to move to the big pool but we're ignored. You had to get up for a sunbed at 5am to get a decent spot around the pool during this period (who wants to do that on their holidays!!) Alot of the pool gets shady very early on in the day so if you are a sunbather you will need to find the right spot to have sun most of the day . We went out to thebeach/port and to eat & drink numerous times and reception happily ordered us taxis each time , Cost around 150lira each way to ladies beach which was reasonable , but would have preferred to have a beach within walking distance, which it wasn't. Our main complaint was the food , we are not fussy eaters 1 bit but this really was the worst selection of all inclusive we have ever came across , we didn't go hungry because to be fair the salad was amazing, but aside from that the food really was awful , and often cold , this definitely needs to be worked on . On the whole we had a nice holiday but we wouldn't return due to the food and the location being a taxi ride away from everything.

Where to even start with this hotel. I’ll start by saying the staff are amazing all friendly and welcoming. The rooms where cleaned everyday we stayed but the downfall was that we booked a double room with pool view and didn’t get a pool view and the room had 3 separate single beds in it not a double like advertised. The food was awful. Not many choices at all mainly the same stuff repeated everyday hard cold beans for breakfast and dry hard bread. Lunch was okay but everyday was mainly overcooked pasta and cold fries with meatballs that changed shape everyday so were more like dry meat shapes. Could never tell what the meats for dinner were as the descriptions just said meat stew or meat curry so on and so forth. The milk put out for breakfast cereals was always warm and off putting and all the cakes for dessert were overly saturated tasting like sand with weird jellyfied fillings that didn’t taste great. The drinks selections behind the bar wasn’t the best either and all the imported alcohols from England were charged as extras which I’ve never seen or heard of from an all inclusive. There was also only 1 beer on tap which in the restaurant was efes and on the pool bar was just advertised as malted beer. I must say the entertainment team were amazing for the kids and adults during afternoon pool games and darts and the music was always great by the pool. Overall probably wouldn’t come back to this hotel as it’s quite a distance from the beaches and there was a few different people coming up to you when you were sat on sun loungers trying to sell you tickets to private beaches and massages that got hiked up in price compared to when we viewed them online.

This has been lovely. Very clean. We could of come here with no money and we would not of gone hungry. Anyone complaining about the food.. what do you eat at home ?. Our room was big enough. Any problems can be sorted quick. Just ask. Staff are very friendly keen to help. All other points have been mentioned below. ENJOY.

I’ll start by saying this has got to be one of the best hotel’s we’ve stayed in Turkey. Must say when we arrived we didn’t think we were going to have the great time as we did, food was great staff always helpful, shop keeper don’t know his name really helpful, entertainment team great special mention to Adam think it was his first week but always willing to try new activities, we emailed the hotel before we arrived asking for a room with a pool view which they gladly obliged great sun on the balcony all afternoon. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel. Also met some lovely people, like we said would definitely return.
