Mulan · Fanli Design Holiday Hotel

Perfect location, nearby to tourist ticketing counter and entrance to Zhouzhuang. Room is clean and comfortable. Owner and staffs all very friendly and helpful. We ate twice at their Mulan restaurant and loved their food there. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit next time. 👍👍👍👍👍

Motivated to write a review as there was not too much information when I was booking. Location It is outside the scenic area (read paid entry). However it is just 100m from one of the entrances making it easy to enter. Use baidu maps to locate it as it is not correctly pinpointed elsewhere. They do offer a pickup service I think if you call to inform them. Not sure from where though. Rooms 3 storey building with different themed rooms. Beautiful design throughout and modern - such juxtaposition against the surroundings. The main difference with the Mulan lodgings in the scenic area is that there is underfloor heating which makes it a lot more comfortable in winter. The family room I booked had a very nice Kohler bathtub which we took advantage of Food There is no breakfast options by the hotel but there are many food options around and just outside the hotel. Mulan runs a beautifully designed restaurant inside the scenic area which again stands out from the other more traditionally designed restaurants. Prices are a little more but the ambience and service are excellent. Service The reception staff was oddly not fond of making eye contact or any sort of small talk. He does answer directed questions but is nothing close to friendly or warm. He also did not offer any information on checking us in and we had to ask for information re wifi access and entry to scenic area etc the cleaning ladies are very pleasant though. Conclusions Overall, it is a beautiful place to stay in with good location and rooms. There are not much by the way of amenities or service but I would stay here again should I come by Zhouzhuang.

The room and the toilet is very clean. Bed and pillow is comfortable. Looking is very near the entrance to Water Town. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic designer hotel and amazed about the cleanliness and amenities in the room. About 100 meters to old town entrance location is superb. Great service by hotel staff who helped my car parking free of charge at a nearby location. Overall great experience

It is a beautiful boutique hotel….. staff very helpful and willing to help on provide transportation info to the interesting places. And they will serve you a bowl of local famous noodles as a welcome gift, very yummy😋. They have a restaurant inside Zhozhuang scenic area where they serve the yummy local noodles. Hotel location is best to explore the beautiful Zhozhuang.

Lovely hotel on the doorstep of the water town. The style of the rooms is very nice. We had a great stay and will go back again with friends and family who visit us in China.

A very lovely stay. Wish we had stayed 2 nights! The room was exactly as in the pictures. Very nicely designed and comfortable. The location is very conveniently just outside one of the gates to the water town. The cat is also adorable. The manager was very helpful and messaged us on WeChat before we arrived and helped to arrange a driver to Suzhou the next day. Highly recommend staying here. It's great value!

The whole staff was really cool. They helped me a lot, and tried to make my stay as good as possible. I Will always remember them. My room was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect, close the Ancient Town.

酒店設施齊全，酒店房間裏該有的東西都有，環境優美，一進門就有花有竹，有水有魚，還有室外茶台，不愧是設計師客棧，裝修確實很有特點，處處是景，處處可拍照，酒店衞生乾淨，服務熱情，到店前一天就打電話加微信，到了客棧老闆親自迎接，幫忙拿行李送房間，房間空調很給力，最好的是位置，離景點入口一分鐘，晚上7點半以前免票，晚上8點半以後遊周莊賞夜景也免票，玩了三天一分錢沒花，位置優勢很重要哈哈，周邊有家叫江邊小鎮農家菜的小店特別好吃，特色菜全點了才花了400多，還逛了當地的菜市場，是個消費不高的小鎮，性價比很高，這個吃住行玩都方便的客棧，下次一定再入住
