Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way.
Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff.
Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment.
Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean.
Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.

Forse uno dei migliori hotel in Kerala,ovviamente si parla di India del sud,l’ambiente è molto bello con ricca vegetazione,le camere sono molto grandi ma molto scialbe,nemmeno un tappetino vicino al letto,di cui molto comodo,il bagno enorme.Abbiamo cenato all’unico ristorante e si ***gia bene,ti preparano al momento è se chiedi come lo vuoi te lo fanno,sono molto gentili e premurosi!! L’unica pecca è che dopo cena non c’è niente nemmeno un bar o un salottino per finire la serata,quindi non ri***e altro che tornare nella nostra camera!! Nel complesso lo posso consigliare

Il resort sorge direttamente sulla sponda del lago Vembanad, nel cuore delle lussureggianti backwaters del Kerala. E' composto di alcune decine di ville di differenti dimensioni e caratteristiche. Abbiamo alloggiato in una struttura situata di fronte al lago, con piccola piscina privata. La location è sicuramente bella ma la struttura della suite un po' troppo minimal e non molto attraente, con qualche evidente ***cata cura di dettagli per adeguarlo ad essere quello che promette: un incantevole resort di lusso. I servizi della struttura non incantano a partire dal piccolo ristorante, piuttosto angusto e la SPA, votata alle pratiche ayurvediche ma non attraente, alla piscina centrale che, pur non essendola, sembra mal curata e non pulitissima. Insomma sia pure incastonato in una cornice suggestiva questo resort non risponde al 100% delle aspettative, anche sotto il livello del servizio, la pulizia delle camere ed il decoro. Credo, come peraltro segnalato al general ***ager, comunque molto cortese e disponibile, siano necessari alcuni interventi per rendere questo resort più attraente accrescendo l'a**osfera e migliorando i servizi in genere.

As soon as you enter the resort you are greeted by the staff with Aarti tikka and garlands. The staff is super and explains everything about the resort to you. We stayed in the villa and the rooms are spacious and very well done.There is a lot to do for the kids, like cycling, fishing, boating etc in the resort

Nature beauty and the comfort at the midst of rain forest . This place is awesome to vacation. The massage center and the team (Athira,swathi and Vishnu)was unbelievable. It is must for everyone. Food was top of the line. The friendly staff never say no.

Resort is comfortable.Ajay from front desk arranged for us a great boat trip for 2 hours (additional cost) but the views on the waterways and the village scenes are a highlight .Particularly impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. In particular, Ms Prasoona ,Vismitha , chinchu at the housekeeping (for the smile, attention to details and eagerness to serve everyone ❤️

Our stay at Niraamaya Resort Kumarakam was a splendid experience .The staffs were friendly and their service was excellent really recommend this place. My sincere gratitude towards Mr Jithin for the reservation Ms Sifa ,Ms Sonia for their guidance and help.Heartfelt thanks to Prasoona, Shiyas,Gautham who ensured that they delivered more than the promise but more importantly really happy to receive back my parents smiling with great memories.

The beauty of Kerala Backwaters can really be seen at Niraamaya. From the beautiful sunsets to the nightly cultural shows, I felt such a great level of comfort. The staff was amazing! They are the real stars of my vacation.

It was a fantastic stay..... esp. Chef A*** took a perfect care of my family.... one should surely visit this resort, peaceful with beauty...... Entire services were amazing starting from check in, room was clean, they arranged a bharatanatyam dance in the evening, then a perfect dinner in a restro, morning spa, delicious breakfast and lastly the bon voyage cake..... Worth spending money.......
