Review of Bamboo Boutique Resort, Bonaire From the moment my wife and I stepped through the main gate of Bamboo Boutique Resort, we were transported from the bustling streets of Bonaire to a serene tropical oasis that whispered echoes of our cherished travels to Thailand and Indonesia. Celebrating our 25th anniversary, we found this hidden gem to be the perfect sequel in our two-week journey across the ABC Islands. The resort’s unique charm lies in its ability to offer privacy and tranquility amidst its cozy accommodations, even when at full capacity. The lush greenery and artful decor create an intimate atmosphere that makes each guest feel like they have the entire place to themselves—a rare luxury. Nestled conveniently close to the heart of the city, the resort offers easy access to local attractions, including the renowned Cliffs dive site. While we missed the opportunity to dine at the sought-after Chefs restaurant, fully booked months in advance, the resort still managed to delight us with a sumptuous breakfast in bed—a thoughtful touch that added to our celebration. The staff at Bamboo Boutique Resort deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. Attentive yet unobtrusive, they ensured our stay was nothing short of splendid. As we bid farewell to this enchanting retreat, we knew without a doubt that Bamboo Boutique Resort would be our go-to sanctuary in future visits to Bonaire. It’s not just a resort; it’s a memorable experience that stays with you long after you’ve left its gates. Highly recommended for those seeking a slice of paradise with a personal touch. Be sure to bring reef friendly bug spray and sun screen. Also try Lucianos Ice Cream bar. We went every single day. We will be staying with Bamboo again. Our place was clean and modern. We enjoyed the personal plunge pool in our unit. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic with their recommendations of places to visit. They are partners with VIP diving who were outstanding. Bamboo was a quiet luxurious retreat in between dives

We spent 12 wonderful and relaxing days in Bonaire at the Baboo Bonaire Resort. Everything was just perfect: the cottage was in a very quiet location, the grounds were relaxing, and we were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the Baboo team. Bamboo Bonaire is a small boutique hotel less than 10 minutes from Bonaire's main town, Kralindijk. It's not much to see from the road but once you pass through the (locked and secure) gates you enter an Asian-inspired oasis full of lush plantings, Buddha statues, fountains, pools, and ultra-private villa accommodations. All villas have outdoor courtyard, some with hot tubs or plunge pools; there's even a treehouse room for the young at heart. Tranquility rules the day here, and an on-site restaurant (one of the hottest reservations on the island, though some tables are reserved for guests) and spa mean you can really spend a lot of time here when you're not up for exploring. On the other hand almost everyone comes to Bonaire to dive, so the resort has an easy pickup service for O2 and NOX tanks and racks to dry your gear. The only drawback is that the resort isn't on the beach, but it makes a great base for exploring all of Bonaire's hidden beaches and dive spots, marked by yellow painted stones along the roads.

Lovely tropical garden with cabins spread out over the property. Each cabin has a porch with hammock and sitting area. We had our own kitchen to make some breakfast. Nice food trucks are nearby or great restaurants in town. The bed in our cabin was nice and big.

Very special experience - a small oasis of peace, calm, serenity and comfort. The Bamboo Team were amazing - accommodating but not intrusive, willing to help with any request and nothing was too much trouble….and the accommodation was excellent….would definitely recommend…
