Overall our 2-night stay at Hyatt Centric KK was comfy n relaxing. The lobby n top floor lounge ambience is excellent~feeling of calmness. Rooms are spacious n clean with beautiful sunset seaview. We especially like the bathroom with sitting bench~ a considerate design for guests who prefer to sit n shower. Restaurant staff were very well-mannered n helpful. Hotel is nice, clean and have good amenities. The room is clean, though not new, but all amenities are working fine. The bed is comfortable and comes with 2 pillows each. The room even has a study table. We use it as a dining table instead. The room has a unique toilet. The shower and toilet bowl is separated having a door each and next to each other. Also, the wall and door of the toilet can slide fully open exposing the sink and the doors of shower and toilet bowl. You can just slide to close everything if you want privacy. The hotel staffs are nice too and attend to your request promptly. I requested for extra pillow and they sent it within a few minutes. The breakfast was also good and delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes from local, western, Indian, Chinese. Though everyday is similar but they change certain dishes such as from fried noodle to fried kuey tiow, fried rice to nasi lemak, etc. The hotel is also close to the waterfront, eating places and walking distance to Suria Sabah shopping centre. Overall, a good hotel to stay in.

The location is convenient, it has plenty of good spa and restaurants nearby, however, it was too close to the fish market, you can smell the fish once you left the lobby. The overall hygiene is fine, bedsheet and towel are in very good condition, however, there are quite a lot of strains in the surfaces of toilet, also the shower room. And I found some ants at a corner of the room. The facilities are good, swimming pool and the rooftop bar are decent. All staff I have met are nice and friendly.

Overall nice hotel with very good facilities. I liked the edgeless swimming pool where you can have broader view of coastal area of KK including the ***a Island. The gym is also modern and a pleasant place to go. The restaurants are also attractive and i liked the breakfast the most as there are a lot of food options. 15/F roooftop is a good place for appreciation of sunset. The only problem is their room service efficiency: when you try to order something you might have to wait for a long time. Hope there’s improvement when I come back again in future.

I recently stayed at Mercure Kota Kinabalu, and my overall experience was a mixture of positives and negatives. The hotel's ambiance and service were generally acceptable, but a couple of aspects left me with a less than perfect impression. On the positive side, the room, although not the promised city view, was comfortable and well-maintained. The amenities provided were standard and met our basic needs for a short stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, adding a pleasant touch to our overall experience. However, one notable drawback was the discrepancy in the room description. Despite being assured of a city view, we were assigned a room overlooking the opposite facing the busy road. While this may seem like a minor issue, it did impact our overall satisfaction, as the promise of a particular view was one of the factors influencing our choice. Another inconvenience was the lack of dedicated parking facilities at the hotel. This meant that my husband had to purchase parking coupons daily, adding an unexpected expense to our stay. Moreover, the strict enforcement of parking regulations by 8 am posed a challenge, especially for guests who preferred to start their day later. In conclusion, Mercure Kota Kinabalu is a decent choice for a short stay, offering comfortable accommodations and friendly service. However, potential guests should be aware of potential discrepancies in room assignments and the absence of on-site parking facilities, which may affect the overall convenience and cost of their stay.

Questo hotel si trova in una buona posizione. Molto pulito e senza strano odore dal mattone. Lavanderia così grande c/w bagno. La mia famiglia si ferma qui per 2 notti. Solo cibo per colazione e cena dovrebbe essere migliorato dal gusto e la varietà, soprattutto per cibi spessi. In generale siamo soddisfatti. Ho soggiornato qui per diverse volte e, con il passare del tempo, la pulizia delle lenzuola e dei cuscini è discutibile. E durante il mio ultimo soggiorno, uno dei cuscini così puzzolente come mai lavato prima. E il WiFi a volte non è collegabile per la maggior parte del tempo e anche il servizio di telefonia cellulare è scadente. A parte questo, il servizio clienti alla reception è eccezionale e molto buono. Per il cartellino del prezzo durante il periodo di promozione, non potevo chiedere di più. Saluti.

Excellent location. Very near to waterfront, shopping mall and eateries. However, hotel management need to improve on bathroom cleanlines especially on behind the toilet seat and shower wall accumulated with mold. I stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping was missed on one occassion. It is a waste such a nice hotel in prime location with that kind of services.

I stayed at Jesselton cabin as part of an expedition, for my first two nights. On arrival, the place seemed a little downtrodden, but after entering the lounge space, it seemed more pleasant. All floors areas had locked gates with passcode access, given to us by the host, who was always on hand to help. In the dormitory, there were 3 bunks and 2 singles, a fairly spacious room, with very effective fans. However, there was black mould pretty much in every nook and cranny, and sleeping on the top bunk was risky due to the instability of the beds. Sleeping on the bottom, I had a fairly good sleep, not too noisy and comfy. One area which definitely let this place down was the washing facilities. There are two outside toilets on the balconies per floor, which smelt and were dirty and grimy. The showers were essentially a dribble, and there were many undesirable substances smeared on the walls ~ not to mention the dirt and soil. Breakfast was included, consisting of bread and jam, along with a tap for water. Overall, a pleasant stay but the facilities were lacking in cleanliness and practicality. Fine for a quick one night stay.

Mi piace davvero questo viaggiatore, appena aperto, le attrezzature hardware sono nuove, il traffico è molto conveniente, il porto è molto vicino, il centro commerciale è molto vicino, pochi minuti a piedi posso arrivare, il servizio del personale è anche molto buono, vivere per molti giorni, molto comodo, andrà ancora la prossima volta!

L'edificio è nuovo, le strutture sono complete, la piscina di scena marina è una buona scelta, il rapporto prezzo è buono, vicino al porto, può essere lontano dalla strada Gaya e dai commercianti cinesi che mangiano frutta marina e devono guidare in auto per cena. L'atteggiamento di servizio di Trip.com è ancora buono, comunicare attivamente con il proprietario, risolvere molti problemi, grazie qui.
