Fili Hotel Apartments

The air conditioning unit in our room sounded like it had nuts and bolts rattling around in it. This made it impossible to sleep at night matched with the hard bed sleep certainly didn't happen much for myself or my husband. Our son's bed was just as hard and his bed was in the kitchen so he also had the noise of the fridge all night. If you decide to go in school holidays with children make sure you get up super early for a sunbed as these all seem to be taken before 8am. The towels in our apartment were very hard so be careful not to get sunburnt whilst on holiday as you will definitely feel it whilst drying after your shower. The food at was very basic and disappointing as we love Greek food and this is all part of your holiday experience. What I would definitely recommend is if you like a beach you must go to Plori Beach. The beach has staff that will bring you food and drinks all day long. The sunbeds are very reasonable priced. We had 3 beds and 2 umbrellas for 16 Euros. The beach is half hour walk from the apartments or you can get a bus. Timetables are kept at the apartments you will need to ask for one. Or you can hire push bikes which is what we did then you are not clock watching for when the next bus is. The bars and restaurants in Tigaki town are also worth a visit.

Thank you once again Paul, eleni, fili, Denis and the cooks and cleaners/maintenance for another outstanding stay, nothing is too much trouble whenever you ask for anything, keep up the fantastic work you do. We had the best apartment and had 5 beds, a separate bedroom and 2 balconies, typical Greek but great with so much space. As I said in my previous review last year if you can’t sleep on the mattresses just ask and you will get mattress toppers which make a massive difference for us. Food was very good and freshly prepared for breakfast and evening meals and off a menu which has a huge selection to choose from and quite often there’s a special too, we got a different dessert every night, fantastic value for half board. Swimming pools and areas spotlessly clean. We hired bikes from reception for 10 days and got an incredible deal & cycled all over and especially to Lidl as only 2 miles away. We kept our room on the last day as we didn’t leave until after 8pm with a late flight which was well worth the money. Bus stop is outside down the little lane to tigaki or Kos town or a nice walk to tigaki or run along the sea front 1.5 miles each way. Drinks reasonably priced at the bar. Absolutely outstanding sunset from the balcony and at the beach which is only a 5 minute stroll. We had a fabulous chilled time again 💓

One of our favourite holidays. We stayed at Fila for 10 nights. Our room was very clean and plenty of storage. We had a place for everything. We never got to say goodbye to the staff due to the coach arriving early however they were all lovely and helpful. We were half board and we enjoyed all the food at the hotel. Plenty of choice and never went hungry. Breakfast was til 12pm so you can relax. We enjoyed the morning sun on the beach then went for breakfast later. We met lots of really nice people and this made our holiday. Everyone was so friendly and happy here. The beach was just a 2 minute stroll away. We liked to walk down a little and sunbathe outside Kos Palace as the sun beds were only 3 euros a day with a brolly and you could use the toilets. The staff there were also so lovely and we enjoyed pizza and special iced coffees or orange juice there. The beaches were stunning all around. We liked to walk into Tigaki town ( 25 mins ) lots of shops and bars. Lots of people hire bikes as it’s so flat and we will do this next time. We did the 3 bay boat trip which was a lovely day out and again met lovely people here. We also watched the sunset at Zia. Amazing. Kos town a bus ride away was stunning aswell. My partner also proposed to me at the vine yard restaurant just 5 mins away from Fili apartments. Loved it there aswell, beautiful surroundings. We were very happy here. First holiday with very little drinking of alcohol but we had such a relaxing break and slept well. We had an amazing holiday. Thank you fili and jet 2.

Returned last week from another great and relaxing holiday at the Fili. Family run and everybody helpful. Rooms clean and maid service on a regular basis. Restaurant good and priced reasonably . Swimming pools excellent and clean . We will be back thanks

My wife classed this as her favourite holiday. Just returned from Fili Apartments (01/10 - 15/10/24). We must start with huge THANK YOU to the family and all the staff for their hard work (which they make look like fun). We arrived and were welcomed, checked in quickly, and taken to our room. The room was bigger than we booked, but I didn't like the outlook, but they moved us to another room we loved (thank you). The room we stayed in was ground floor, garden view (in a previous review, someone has advised how this room is down a long dark corridor and looks at the car park). It is down a corridor but looks over gardens But yes you can see the car park but it's looking over the gardens and front of hotel, we looked this room). Hotel is very Greek, basic, clean and comfortable. Room was spacious, bed comfy, bathroom small but perfectly formed, kitchen as expected (toaster would be nice). All in all a nice comfy room, kept clean and stocked. The grounds and pool areas are clean and welcoming, loads of sunbeds. Bar and restaurant is clean, friendly, and a nice place to be. We were self catering but ended up eating here most meals (only ate out 1 night) The menu is a good choice (very similar to local tavernas) and all food is well cooked and very tasty. Would recommend eating here, tasty food, good drinks, well priced and a good atmosphere. The beach is minutes away and stretches miles in both directions. Sea is lovely and shallow. The main road along the beach to Tigaki has some bars hotels, supermarket. Supermarket is approx 15 mins (cash machine here) but walking along the beach, splashing in the sea, who cares how long it takes. Tigaki is another 30 mins (but who is in a rush). Bus stop at end of road from hotel. (It's the last stop) 2.30€ and goes to Kos Town, well worth a day trip. This was our first time at Fili, but ment lovely people that had returned many times and we see why. The shared knowledge was useful in making our holiday better. Really have just had a very relaxing but fun two weeks, the family and staff really do help make your holiday ... just ask they will help you. We will return.

This was our 2nd trip to the Fili and we loved it as much as the 1st. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and ours had the most amazing view of the sunset when having an evening drink on the balcony. We went half board and the food is good and plentiful with lots of choice. The hotel is within walking distance of the beaches, or you can get the bus into Tigaki for beaches with bars and sunloungers. You can get into Kos town on the bus from the bottom of the road for 2.30 euros each way and they run quite regularly. The owners are brilliant and cannot do enough for you, the rooms, pools and grounds are spotlessly clean - I highly recommend Fili Apartments for a chilled relaxing holiday, we will def be back :)
