Komodo: hotel sulla spiaggia

Felt like a hotel from the 1980s. Room was very nice as was the pool but a totally bizarre set of priorities with no eco / sustainable qualities. No place to refill water but instead if you ask for water they send someone one to your room with small plastic bottles. They replenish these plastic bottles each day. They give you new tiny plastic bottles of shampoo each day and wash the towels every day regardless of requests. Totally unnecessary use of energy and plastic. Breakfast is poor. Great number of staff there but seem focused on putting out stacks of plates ans cups correctly and often no milk available. No hot water so if you want tea you just have a pot which brews constantly and they just periodically add water too. In a country full of beautiful fresh fruit their breakfast fruit is not fresh and often covered in flies. There is so many staff they could just bring each person a little plate of fruit if they liked. Lots of options in the hot plate buffet but all seem straight from a frozen / package and not fresh at all.

Solo una notte prima del mio viaggio a barca a Komodo. Hotel di base con strutture di base. Ma dal momento che l'hotel è situato in cima alla collina, la vista del sole dalla stanza era inaspettatamente bella;)

Het is de eerste keer dat wij ons genoodzaakt voelen een negatieve recensie te schrijven over een accommodatie. Na een rondreis van een maand in Indonesië was dit verblijf een dieptepunt. Op voorhand bekeken we de foto’s en zagen we stijlvol ingerichte kamers met een prachtig zicht. Het prachtige zicht klopt zeker, zowel vanuit de kamer, het restaurant als het zwembad. Maar dit is dan ook het enige. Het liep al mis bij de communicatie vooraf. Wij kwamen na een vierdaagse boottocht toe in de haven maar het beloofde transport liet 40 minuten op zich wachten. Nadat we opnieuw contact opnamen kwam er warrige communicatie en dienden wij zelf met twee drivers te whatsappen. De kamer is helemaal niet hygiënisch. De kussens ruiken muf en bevatten vlekken. Er liggen haren in bed. De klamboe was vies en kon je quasi niet sluiten rondom het bed. De grendel van de deur naar onze kamer viel aan de buitenkant in het slot waardoor we telkens supermoeilijk uit onze kamer konden. De badkamer is eigenlijk ronduit smerig en komt helemaal niet overeen met de foto’s. De douchekop is verkalkt, er komt een walgelijke geur uit de lavabo, de drinkbeker is super smerig, het toilet is gebarsten, de zeep was leeg, het toiletpapier was op. Het zwembad kwam zogezegd net uit maintenance, maar er lagen meerdere gebroken tegels bij de trap wat erg gevaarlijk was. Ook het water gaf ons geen propere indruk. Tot slot is het ontbijt erg karig. Je kan kiezen voor een koffie of thee. Daarnaast moet je kiezen tussen een omelet of een pannenkoek. Wij zijn op onze twee dagen nog ergens anders een extra ontbijt moeten gaan nuttigen. Doordat er aan de receptie quasi geen Engels gesproken wordt, was het onmogelijk hierover te communiceren. Ook de communicatie met Selini via Whatsapp was slecht. Tot het laatste moment was het onduidelijk of ons transport naar de luchthaven geregeld was. Je wil je als gast geen zorgen moeten maken over het halen van je vlucht. In andere reviews is er vaak sprake van vriendelijk personeel, maar dit hebben wij niet zo ervaren. Conclusie: dit verblijf is de prijs absoluut niet waard. Enkel het zicht is prachtig, maar dit weegt niet op tegen alle punten hierboven. Wij klagen normaal nooit maar we willen toekomstige reizigers hiervoor behoeden.

Situato a circa 2 km dal porto ma i taxi a moto sono buoni. Il personale è amichevole e utile. La mia camera doppia deluxe era spaziale. L'unità di aria condizionata era molto tranquilla. La TV aveva un certo numero di canali ma nessuno in inglese. C'era spazio per letto e due cottages Illuminazione era molto buona. Il bagno è di dimensioni decente con doccia segregata. Eccellente acqua calda e pressione idrica. La stanza è pulita ogni giorno se è questo il vostro desiderio. La zona condivisa del balcone era per tre camere. Ho avuto un tavolo, un sedile da banchetto e un vestito di secco. Per colazione hanno un buffet indonesiano o tre opzioni occidentali diverse che erano essenzialmente omeleti diversi. L'hotel può essere lontano dal centro, ma si gode del vantaggio della pace e del silenzio, nonché del valore per l'alloggio.

Bella, grande stanza con terrazza e bagno ( doccia calda), La colazione è inclusa nella prenotazione. Il personale è molto amichevole e utile. Ci siamo trasferiti in 3 occasioni separate e non abbiamo lasciato il bagagliaio con nessun problema. Ci siamo chiesti acqua calda ogni giorno che è stato consegnato alla stanza. Molto buon posto per il prezzo a Labuan Bajo.

La camera era spaziale, dotata di frigo, divano grande, tavolo da pranzo, sedie, TV, buon WiFi, balcone e asciugabiancheria. Hotel fornitore anche acqua filtrata. Servizio molto amichevole. Posizione a pochi passi dal porto, ristoranti, caffè, punto di vista. Raccomandato.
