Servicepersonal sehr freumdlich und hilfsbereit. Lage sehr zentral. 24h warmes Wasser. Zimmerbelüftung bei zimmern ohne fenster mangelhaft (upgrade wurde bei check in gegen aufpreis vorgeschlagen). Alles in allem empfehlenswert für den Preis und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt (wir waren 3 Nächte dort) empfehlenswert. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir lieber mehr für eine bessere Ausstattung bezahlen.

Io, mio marito e nostro figlio di 3 anni sono rimasti a Taj Bengal per una notte nell'aprile 2023. Per me è il miglior hotel a Kolkata! Il servizio è eccezionale, tutti i membri del personale vi fa sentire a casa. La struttura è lussuosa. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante indiano e il cibo era grande, e lo consiglierei certamente e vorrei che potessimo restare lì per un po'.

I shall start from arrival at the hotel. We were a family of four who had booked two rooms at the property. We arrived around 14:30 Hrs (at least 30 mins after the designated check-in time). First of all, although the check-in desk at the hotel is quite huge, there were only 3 staff members ***ning the desk, all of them occupied. We had to wait for around 15 mins, looking here and there like *****s with our bags on before someone greeted us. And I do not mind waiting for check-in; what I do mind is that despite multiple staff members seeing us wait, not one of them acknowledge our presence and asked us to take a seat and wait. They would all look at us and carry on. Forget a warm smile, forget a namaste, we were made to feel like fools just standing there without anyone attending to us. When we finally did get a chance to check in, we were given two adjacent rooms. The key to one room was handed over to us, and we were told that the second room is not ready yet and that as soon as it is ready the key would be sent to us in our room. We said okay and moved towards our room. Once in our room, all four of us sat waiting in one room for around 45 mins for the key to the second room. We were not able to unpack because we wanted to unpack in our respective rooms. Tired and hungry, we left the hotel to get ourselves some lunch and some sightseeing, hoping that by the time we return our second room would be ready. When we returned and asked for the key to the second room from the reception desk, we were told that the room that was allocated to us had been now given to someone else -- and we were given some other room that was ”close” to the first room. I understand that asking for adjacent rooms is a mere request and not a right. But had we been given a ”close” room earlier, we could have gotten the keys earlier at the time of check-in! We waited for a room for so long, only for it to be given to someone else. Fast forward to the next morning's breakfast. The spread was quite good and quite diverse in variety. However, again the entire staff at the breakfast looked tense for some reason. And they kept messing up with live counter orders. No one had a smile on, no one welcomed you with warmth, and no one made you feel as if you were staying in a 5-star hotel (which The Lalit considers itself to be). Our entire experience with The Lalit was below par at the very least. It was not the kind of experience you would expect from a branded property that so conveniently calls itself a luxury 5-star property. I honestly feel for the money that I paid, I could and should have gotten a different property and that would have been definitely better. For the foreseeable future, and till things change, I do not see myself staying at any Lalit property.

Mi sentivo come a casa. Il calore in casa è estremamente incredibile e mostrando la raffigurazione del patrimonio di Kolkata è WOW. Ho già raccomandato la mia famiglia e amici raajkutir per il soggiorno. Il personale ha vinto il mio cuore. Ho soggiornato in così ***y 5star proprietà ma il motivo di restare di nuovo con raajkutir è stato il suo personale come Shang, Sunita, Sapna, Parthib, Marisa, Aninita, Disha. Il capo Bisw***p mi ha fatto gustare il personale speciale bengali thali e f&b dell'India orientale che mi ha spiegato ogni piatto. Inoltre, dirò quando un buon leader dirige una squadra, che l'unità mostra nella squadra - questo è adatto per il front office ***ager Riki. Egli è molto umoristico e generoso, ha vinto il cuore quando siamo partiti, ha aiutato con me con il mio bagaglio, e, essendo FOM, può semplicemente dire ad altri che lo fanno, ma è stato così utile, ha portato il mio bagaglio e si è messo in macchina. Ecco perché il TAJ è diverso da altri hotel. Sono radicati nel loro lavoro. Exe chef Suvashish Mukherjee ha preso il suo tempo e trascorso con noi e ha dato un'occhiata a così ***y Bengali storie di cibo e condividendo la sua esperienza con il TAJ da 3 generazioni. Quando gli ho lodato per come tutti i dipendenti sono così umili, ha detto, signora, che l'ho imparato dal mio leader, il signor Tata, e che ho condiviso la sua esperienza quando si incontra con il signor Ratan Tata e che l'ascensore è utilizzato da un altro ospite. Il signor Tata non si è lasciato male o non si è arrabbiato con il personale per non aver tenuto l'ascensore per lui, ma ha semplicemente detto che mi sento seduto da molto tempo e che dovremmo salire le scale, suonato e sorridente. Queste belle storie si possono sentire solo dal personale del TAJ perché si sentono come a casa al lavoro e fanno sentire come a casa gli ospiti. Non sono stato così bene l'attenzione dato dalle due signore del bagno suggerendo vapore e massaggi. Sicuramente un soggiorno incredibile. Sono sicuro che tornerò.Grazie a tutti a Raajkutir per il vostro amore.

Come in Vivanta Kolkata. Allover service is very good. Specially, The Food quality. In food item 'Misti' is awesom. Also, Meeting Hall is great. And lastly Chef Rafid, Alamgir, Sandipan, they are very helpful.

Abbiamo visitato il bar di Waterside per il buffet. Il cibo era un piacere e il servizio era impeccabile. Mi piaceva soprattutto la sezione indiana del buffet. Grazie speciali a Jitendra per il servizio meraviglioso. Mi piacerebbe visitare di nuovo presto

Questa è la mia seconda volta che Marriott Kolkata mi ha fatto restare a Fairfield e ho scelto di restare di nuovo qui a causa del servizio eccezionale in tutti i fronti. Il personale del ristorante, guidato da Biswas, è sempre stato sorprendente e ho anche detto di aver soggiornato negli altri hotel Kolkata che le opzioni alimentari qui sono molto meglio. Il personale frontale è anche amichevole e accogliente. La prossima volta scelgo di rimanere qui.

Questo è un grande servizio dal personale dell'hotel, soprattutto al personale del ristorante per colazione. Si prendono sempre cura di ciò che vuoi e offrono scelte alimentari a me e al collega. Certamente, il cibo per colazione è grande, varie scelte. Amo il caffè e la torta così tanto. Quando sanno che siamo l'ultimo giorno all'hotel, hanno preparato una torta semplice ma piena di ospite della squadra di ristorante. Grazie tante e torneremo di nuovo.
