Secret Garden Beach Resort

L'hotel è vicino alla spiaggia, molto vicino all'ecologia originale, ma è molto diverso. Il pavimento è in legno e la toilette è sotto il grande albero. Sembra molto vicino alla natura. E ci sono zanzariere bianche perdute nella stanza, proprio come un sogno. Il suono delle onde può essere ascoltato di notte e le onde possono essere viste sul letto al mattino. È solo che ci sono più zanzare e ci sono alcuni gechi nella stanza, il che è adatto per gli amici che amano la natura.

Buona atmosfera

Wir hatten einen geräumigen und schönen Bungalow. Das Bad wies leider einen unangenehmen Geruch auf, es wurde jedoch sofort vom Service versucht etwas dagegen zu tun. Für 3 Übernachtungen war es super, da man eine direkte Strandlage hatte und Geschäfte/Bars/Restaurants/Pier in der unmittelbaren Nähe waren. Der Pool ist leider nicht einladend, der müsste von den Blättern mehr gereinigt werden. Für einen längeren Zeitraum wäre die Unterkunft nicht zufriedenstellend aber für die 3 Tage hat es super gepasst.

I came to this resort 8 years ago and it was beautiful quiet well maintained and managed. Unfortunately this has significantly gone down hill. We first arrived and our villa door would not lock. Staff did try and fix this but the locks were the same as before and to be honest new doors were needed never mind locks. After 4 and a half hours we were told to go to another villa for the night. We were refunded for the night as we were put in a basic villa near the main road. Do not book these if you dont sleep well with noise. The area is very very built up. Deluxe pool villas are best. The resort has entertainment 3 times a week but finishes at 11pm. In terms of maintaining the place, it needs a full refurb. The pool needs grouting as all the grout as fell off. The umbrellas and the sun bed cushions look exactly like the ones that they had when i last came.. all ripped and broken. The owner was around the hotel but didnt speak to anyone and just sat there smoking and drinking. It is a complete shame because if this resort had a deep clean and some updating with a bit of paint and some new furnishings it would be so much better. Also if you like a beach there is barely any beach left thesedays and if you dont like dogs then do not come here as they have dogs just roaming around and they try and come into your villa and sit in the restaurant! Not very hygenic! Overall I am sad to say i would never come back here again.

Sunday night special advertised BBQ chicken for 250thb. The chicken consist of 3 pieces of over cooked chicken breast oven cooked served with a tasteless coleslaw and 2 sauces which were cold and putrid.. What a waste of money..

We ate dinner at Secret Garden on Friday night. 2 of us & we met friends there later to enjoy the live music. Secret Garden is in a great location along Bangrak beach road & opens out into the beach. Breakfasts are always good as are lunch & dinner. For dinner I ate tofu & vegetable massaman curry. Delicious. It was full of tofu & vegetables & had a great flavour. A big bowl of food with rice on the side. So good & very well priced. Secret garden now has live music 3 times a week & gets busy. It’s very popular with tourists & expats. Service is always excellent. Highly recommended

I knew the hotel from previous visits from the past years and it was very nice to see it kept its charm. The bungalows are pretty comfortable and very near to the beach while being surrounded by a garden with a small pool.The hotel's restaurant is the highest note, serving very good breakfasts and throughout the day, some very well crafted dishes, both local specialities and international. There is some live entertainment too over the weekends. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I would just suggest to improve the maintenance and the setup within the bathrooms inside the bungalows, otherwise still good value for money and definitely better then some more posh places nearby.

Couldn't recommend this hotel enough - our favourite stay in the whole of thailand. Amazing staff, amazing food, rooms are even more beautiful than the pictures, RIGHT on the beach and the best doggy ever 💕
