Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Chef Vbiju cooked special dishes I requested. Located near the fort.

This hotel is better than 3stars! The photos don’t do it justice. Very clean and comfortable rooms, bed feels abit hard to begin with with I actually had a great sleep and back felt great. The staff at the hotel are all really friendly and lovely, super helpful and always a smile I ate in the restaurant for breakfast and a couple of dinners. Great food, chef gave a personal service and tailored dishes to my liking. I could also see how he was helping to provide dishes for people with kids. The hotel is walking distance or a short tuk tuk ride to everything you want to see in a few days. I would definitely recommend staying at Tissa’s.

This boutique hotel has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in during our month in India. From the offset the communication regarding our booking was excellent. Sanitha and her team are outstanding. We were a family of 2 adults and 4+6 year old. The room was excellent and with everything we needed. We really felt at home at this hotel. All the staff are so welcoming and happy to help. Our kids loved to pool. After long days sightseeing we would end up in the pool area which was so peaceful. We also booked our tours though the hotel. Sanitha explained everything clearly and we booked a backwaters tour. The location of this hotel is perfect. A short walk to Princess Street and vasco de gama Square or on 30 rupees in a tuk tuk. It is even not to far from Jew town and Mattancherry Palace. We couldn't have found a better location. What makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the food. It was the best food we have tasted in our whole time in India. All the food was fresh and prepared to the highest standard. As we were traveling with kids the chef was more than accommodating to make mild dishes or even plain dishes for the kids. The chef is outstanding. The seafood dishes we had were mouthwatering. I eat lobster, prawns, pomfret, red snapper. Each were prepared to our taste. Nothing was too spicy but delicious. We will definitely be returning to this hotel. We wish to thank you for all the service you gave us and for the wonderful flowers and cake on our wedding anniversary.

Tissa's Inn is a lovely, beautiful hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff. Sanitha and her team were always happy to answer questions and help out where they could, and in doing so made me feel at home. Sanitha also emailed me a day before I arrived checking I was all set and if I needed any help getting to the hotel. It was a really nice touch, so thank you Sanitha if you read this! :) The hotel has a lovely pool on the roof, and an area where they serve dinner outside in the evenings. The food and breakfast was very delicious. Next door to the hotel are a few handy shops, and it is a short 5 min walk into the heart of the historic Fort Kochi area with it's lovely shops and restaurants. I also walked from the Ernakulam ferry most days, which was also a short walk (or an evening shorter tuktuk ride!). Would definitely recommend to others and stay again if I ever am in this part of the world again.

Lovely hotel, run mainly by English speaking women who are friendly, lively and helpful. Little extras added include extra toiletries, more plug sockets than usual, and of course a pool and pool towels. Good breakfast, : excellent masala omelettes in particular. The location is good, within walking distance of the Princes Street area.
