Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Kingston

My gal & I do several road trips a year, spring & fall. We are spots car buffs with a few toys.On our way to Ottawa we booked the Delta Kingston. Not good value. Maybe at half what we paid....The room very typical, dated & tired as compared to what I now expect from Delta. BIG ONE... The car ramp entrance to the lobby, if you can find it, has an extremely steep sharp up ramp. If you are driving a low sports car DON”T do it.I was extremely careful I scraped the front spoiler on our sports car. Terrible ramp. While leaving to walk for dinner, my gal slipped & fell on the same driveway. It's terrible. If you are staying here, drive a truck.lol. I will however tell you the staff was awesome, one of the best hotel experiences we have had in a while in terms of staff.Well done... Who ever is hiring & training....don't change a thing... We paid almost double for one night that we are paying in Ottawa downtown.

Mia moglie e io vogliamo andare in hotel, quindi la suite a camera doppia di questo hotel sembrava la scelta ovvia quando abbiamo visitato Kingston. Purtroppo, questo alloggio particolare non sembra essere usato molto, come abbiamo imparato gradualmente durante il nostro soggiorno. Prima questione: l'unità di condizionamento dell'aria nel salotto condiviso ha lavorato gangbuster, inviando un'esplosione d'aria fredda con un sacco di rumore, ma praticamente nulla lo ha fatto entrare nelle stanze. Un tecnico è venuto rapidamente e ha scoperto che i venti erano stati chiusi in fondo. Secondo problema - il ventilatore nella camera da bagno accanto alla mia camera non poteva essere chiuso. Non c'era alcun interruttore. Sono andato in piedi e ho chiesto alla persona del desktop se mi sbagliavo, e c'era un cambio, e lui ha detto che avrebbe controllato.Qualunque sia il risultato del controllo, nessuno mi ha fatto tornare. La mia moglie, più dura di me, si è offerta gentilmente di cambiare le camere da letto. C'era un rumore intermittente da sopra tutta la notte, come se una corda fosse uscita da un pozzo di bandiera, o un pannello in aria condizionata si era infilato. La mattina dopo, andai al tavolo e gli chiesi di guardarla, e dissero: ”Ancora una volta, nessuno mi è mai tornato, e qualunque cosa fosse rimossa e le due notti successive.” Mia moglie ha pagato per queste camere - più di $2,000 canadesi per quattro notti (!) - e è un'anima più perdonante di me. Se questo fosse stato sulla mia scheda ci sarebbe stato un franco scambio con la gestione e una richiesta di rimborso parziale. In realtà, non ci fermeremo ancora la prossima volta che visiteremo Kingston.

Si tratta di un'antica villa adatta a viaggi di piacere. Kingston è un luogo di svago. Se il bambino studia alla Queen's University e i genitori vogliono avere un figlio, possono vivere in questo posto per un periodo di tempo, andare tutti i giorni all'università a fare una passeggiata e sentire l'aura dei giovani

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it has been ok. This past weekend was not ok. I was assigned room 161. The room is very small. The double bed fills the room. I could hardly move around the bathroom (I am a large person). The walls are in need of a major paint job. Marks all over. The ceiling needs to be redone as well. The bedding looked and felt very cheap. The light switch tuned off the clock radio and power bar. On the positive side, the bathroom looked recently refreshed. Overall, it felt like a room I would get at $40 per night hotel As well, the room is near the entrance, so you hear everyone. On this night, there were children/teens being very loud (yelling to each other as they went to the pool). We had to turn on the TV very loud. The TV was small and the selection available from Bell was limited. Gave up and attached my laptop. Fortunately, they did not hardwire the cord as I did not bring an extra HDMI cable.

We stayed in the Whitney 2 bed ground floor suite. It was fabulous and had a lovely patio. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and super tasteful. It was a real ‘wow’ apartment and we’re frequent travellers in 5 * accommodation. The house isn’t in Kingston (which is a pleasant small town) but about 10 minutes outside so you will need a car To make it even better (being picky) it would have been great to have a small vacuum, more toilet paper, some lie back sun beds on the deck, and a black out blind in the larger bedroom where the blind is thin. But these are really points to make an amazing stay even better

La posizione geografica è buona. L'acqua di lavaggio è un po' piccola.

Firstly their is no pool ! They said that they were still working on getting the pictures of the pool down since last January 2023… also the place is not a Sheraton anymore it was sold in January you guest it Jan 2023 also we book for four people but yet got only three towels ？the staff is great and the location is amazing but be warned outdated bathroom looking a bit dingy with ants crawling all over it. Disappointed in general but be aware that their a resort fee of 70$ a night and over night parking is 30$ a night!!!!

Abbiamo scelto l'hotel Marriott a Kingston per la piscina e la scivola d'acqua. Non è stato deluso. Da la chiamata iniziale a prenotare con Rubel (?scrittura) Era così piacevole e utile. Quando Sam arrivava, andava sopra e oltre quando c'era una miscela con la nostra prenotazione. Durante un fine settimana così occupato Sam ci accostava, e era così gentile e positivo. La piscina e la scivola d'acqua erano incredibili. Le guardie della vita erano piacevoli. Le nostre camere non erano solo belle e aggiornate, ma super pulite e comode. Quando ci siamo accidentalmente chiusi fuori dalla stanza Lauren era sorprendente. La posizione e il parcheggio sono estremamente ben pensati. Siamo sicuramente tornati a questo fantastico impianto.

La posizione dell'hotel era buona e vicina al doc per il 1000 crociera insulare, e a seconda delle camere che si fa fronte al lago o al centro. Molte ristoranti situati vicino all'hotel, al contrario dell'hotel è stato il centro turistico dove si possono prenotare i tour di trolley, 1000 crociere insulari, ecc. La colazione può essere raccolta vicino al lobby dell'hotel. È una scatola di stile bento e il gusto è decente anche se le opzioni non cambiano, tranne per il gusto del muffin.
