Shems Holiday Village & Aquapark

I was in Cuba in Tunisia festival, incredible experience. The staff is very helpful and kind even for diffucult guest as dancers are. Very good facilities and access to beach. Clean rooms. Nice atmosphere. Big thanks Animateur A'sh for showing around.

Great housekeeping,people in the restaurant are super nice. Place is very clean. I spent a week during salsa festival and I am more than happy to recommend this place. There is no cash machine! Pool areas are awesome. PS. Looks better than on the photos.

Very well organized events, clean rooms and good food. We enjoyed the village like arab smurf style, small blocks of amazingly designed houses with cupols on top. We came with a festival Cuba in Tunisia and they really made up huge efforts to meet our needs. Looking forward to come back!

We were at festival "Cuba in Tunisia". Everything is great, food, view, beach and people are extra nice! Palms and nature are all around the hotel. Internet could be better. All inclusive bracelets are making everything easier. Thanks 🤗Wonderful !!!

A wonderful hotel . Clean rooms .with good restaurent and food . The reception were so polite And all the workers there too . I like all the animation team❤️ and special dedicace for vito . It was a great experience in this hotel and i would like to visit the hotel again

Rooms - Simple rooms with a TV ours didn’t really work but we didn’t care we didn’t travel 1200 miles to sit in a room. It’s good enough to sleep and shower in. Pools - Both pools really clean and big. Very well looked after. Bar - We were all inclusive great option. Kids were also allowed to go to the bar to get a drink without adult supervision. Bar staff very friendly, specially Bussy! If you tip them 5/10 Tnd they will look after you all night. Restaurant - I’ve seen some bad reviews about the food but honestly all I can say was everyday the food was fresh and tasted amazing. If you’re British visiting this holiday village just go with an open mind and try it all. 10/10 for the food. Thanks to the chef who done a cake for my son’s birthday. All the kitchen staff come out singing. This was amazing. Staff - All staff were amazing and friendly always said hello. In the morning the reception and pool are is full with maids who do an amazing job in making sure the hotel is clean for the day. Entertainment - Again if your British go with an open mind. The entertainment is done in a way you can get involved. We were the only English family on site however we engaged with French, Dutch and Algerian families in a positive way. The entertainment guys are amazing they literally make everyone so happy they get involved with you on a personal level all times of the day and night. They made us and other families stay much more welcoming. Brilliant with kids and brilliant with adults. We had such a laugh and have also made a life long friend who we will be keeping in touch with. Please make sure at the end of the stay you gift these guys in anyway you can. They never ever perform for tips they do it for their passion. You can tell they love their jobs! Waterpark - Plenty of life guards in the area although they spoke French and Arabic we had a good laugh with them. They were also very helpful in making sure you have a fun time at the park. Also engaged well with both my kids. So much so my youngest wanted to tip one of them haha! Again they are not there wanting tips or making people feel like that but if you feel generous then let them know. 5 dinar goes a long way. On site shop - Ali who runs the on site shop great guy. I actually sat with him on 2 occasions and drank Turkish coffee with him. The shop is reasonable with costs but just remember you’re in Tunisia so try testing out your haggling skills 😉. Ali (Activity guy) - He’s on site and talks good English and is also well connected if you need any help off site. Don’t be tight and make sure you book some activities. We done quad bikes and camels which meant we got to see other areas of the town and mix with locals. We really enjoyed. Word of advice get a head scarf when offered. It’s HOT 🥵 ☀️ Water sports - This is located on the beach about 150 meter walk from the resort. Loads of different ones to choose from again test out your haggling skills. Beach - Beach is ok the bit right

It would seem most of the reviews were written during the height of the tourist season, we've been here for 2 days already. Food is very good and plentiful, staff are amazingly friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Beach is somewhat rubbish and seems to be a lot of rubbish there, but that's about the only bad bit to be honest. Pool is clean and quiet, temperature is still high. Rooms are good and cleaned every day .

Vacances excellente l hôtel shems, village super joli,avec beaucoup de verdure et des arbres et palmiers,dés l arrivé on est bien accueilli,par le staff de l hôtel,la chambre est très jolie,bien équipée,mini bar,tv international,climatisation,on mange bien au restaurant,pas piquant,il ya plusieurs choses à faire avec l animation,pendant la journée,sinon le soir on chante et on danse il ya la bonne musique,on peut aussi visiter les villes à côté monastir,sousse,we will be back
