When I arrived to check in, I was told that my reservation had been changed to double Queen instead of the king suite I had wanted. The receptionist at the front was apologetic and offered a discount. I am rating this poor because I would have appreciated a phone call previous to this change. That would have given me the opportunity to cancel and find a different place. Also, when I asked to speak to the manager that told the receptionist to make the change, the manager didn’t work in the weekend. I took the discount and the room. Luckily, I am only spending one night. This is just a place to rest my head for tonight. I will remember this experience and not book a room through this hotel again. Obviously, reservations do not matter.

La nostra camera era spaziosa e pulita. Il miglior colazione alberghiero che abbia avuto in un lungo periodo. Molte scelte e molto pulita. Invio e check-out online con una chiave digitale ha funzionato bene. Sicuramente rimarrei qui di nuovo.

We stayed here during Art Prize because it offered onsite parking and was reasonably priced compared to the other downtown hotels, this cost was fine. The location is convenient to museums etc. I was surprised that the room was as quiet given the hotel is close to the freeway. We did not here traffic as other reviewers have mentioned. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we threw their way. We paid $5 up front for morning breakfast. This was a deal since we ordered off the menu. The food was very good. All in all, we would stay here again. We have not stayed in a Holiday Inn in many years-our experience with the downtown Grand Rapids has enticed us to consider Holiday Inn in the future.

Prenotato questo hotel per partecipare al matrimonio di un amico. Non mi aspettavo molto di esso, ma mi sorprende! La navetta aeroportuale è stata custodata per voi personalmente, così ogni volta che arrivate, si arrangiranno qualcuno per prendervi. La camera dell'hotel era bella e confortevole e il servizio era buono :)
